Will the Football Manager games be replacing Champ Manager then, as they're basically the same? And when does Football Manager hit the shops? After 6 seasons of the CM 03/04, I'm kinda waiting for a new challenge.

I understand why people would be offended, but it's just one of those things. I'm sure if Kane had realised what he'd be saying was going to cause offense, he'd have brought it up himself with the writers.

My JELLO WRESTLING party...
King Cucaracha replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in No Holds Barred
Sarcasm aside, that Jello really doesn't look right. It looks like you just threw a bunch of berries in a pot, mushed them up and threw them in. -
Best WrestleMania WWF Title Match?
King Cucaracha replied to The Mandarin's topic in General Wrestling
Hogan/Savage, more for what Savage pulled out of Hogan more than anything. Unexpectedly good. -
Yeah, that's probably best. I can handle Rodez/Blurricane if need be, so it's all cool with me.

The OAO "Thank GOD the Diva Search is over Thread"

Big question...when the Hurricane steals his mask back off of the kid this week, will the kid have enough sense to cry instead laugh? And will they get an equally poor acting 'mother' to console him? -
What happens to the scheduled HeldDOWN~! then, as the Round Robin's schedule is going to get screwed up by all this. Unless the RR matches are written up in maybe a seperate, special show for Thursday, then we're not going to finish the Round Robin in time. Of, of course, we could 'skip' this week's planned matches, I could write up a house show thing with the results of those on and we carry on as normal. I guess Adam's in charge of the RR and all, but I thought I'd better bring this up while I think about it.

Wrestling fans aren't as dumb as they used to be, and Vince is finding that out the hard way, week in and week out. If they did this back in the 70's, I'm sure SOMEBODY would have recognised the 'woman' if they'd already wrestled in the company. It wasn't exactly a fool-proof disguise now, was it? Hell, it was nearly as bad as Flair's attempt in 94(ish).

If you were going to start an indy promotion...
King Cucaracha replied to JoeDirt's topic in General Wrestling
Have shitloads of money to begin and be certain that the shitload of money was secure, ready and enough. Otherwise, you're screwed from day one. Obviously then you've got to think about buying a ring that isn't going to collapse on you two nights into your first show. Then there's lights, mics, camera and all that stuff. But yeah, that's a little deep. Assuming that was all sorted, I'd try and secure a 'home' arena...one to hold the majority of the shows, and one that you can get on a decent enough contract. If it were me, I'd then set up in England where there's not a whole lot of competition...but, that limits the amount of workers you can get as no doubt you'd have to pay flight costs for the American workers. So somewhere in America where there's a call for more wrestling. Getting a mix of young and older, experienced workers like Mid South would be first on the list before even thinking about the big name workers. Hiring someone to 'scout for talent' would be a decent idea, to look for future workers. Then basically try to get an all-round type of show, to cater to different types of fans. -
I was about to ask why Trips isn't protecting his old D-X buddy, before I realised how stupid it sounded.

Booking for next week's show from Little Rock,AR

Three HUUUUGH MUN GUS! matches in the Round-Robin Tournament. Fresh off Dirty Deeds, and the Gauntlet Match for 5 points, one man is out clear of the rest by (at least) 2 points. But there's still a long way to go before anyone can claim to be top of the pile. All six men involved are in action this coming week as... As the big man Gunner Sharps takes on the man who leads the way going into Dirty Deeds, Panther! The size difference is evident. That will not deter the determined Panther, but he will need all of his speed, skill and wrestling ability to overcome the Gunner. The Blurricane will go one on one with Leon Rodez! These two men met long ago, with Special Referee Drek Stone very much involved in the outcome of this match. But now, it's one on one, with Rodez having a lot to prove and Blurricane having a reputation as the company's premier X-Division star to uphold. And the war re-ignites again. Two men with a recent, bloody history. The Mad Cappa goes one on one with the man he traded the Puerto Rican/Italian Championship with, "Reckless" Drek Stone! These two men were involved in a brutal match two months ago and no doubt bad blood is still brewing between these two. Bad blood which will spill over on HeldDOWN~!, with more than just pride and bragging rights on the line. -
How would you have killed Kane's child?
King Cucaracha replied to Youth N Asia's topic in The WWE Folder
Kane vs. Benoit on Raw, with the number one contendership to the title for the next week on Raw (before anyone knew about Taboo Tues). Benoit looks in trouble and with the ref down, Kane goes for the chair. Lita enters the ring to stop Kane using the chair on Benoit and gets shoved out of the way. Lita goes down and Benoit capitalises with a dropkick on Kane. Lita meanwhile starts to use Benoit to pull herself up. That distracts Benoit, and Kane hits the chokeslam for the win. Later in the show Lita tries to apologise to Benoit, who seems pretty pissed off. But, he's a nice guy, so accepts the apology anyway. Lita goes to leave but then stops and tells Benoit he's got something in his teeth. Which he has. He's been eating spinach before Lita walked in, see. But Benoit thinks it's a joke and goes psycho, locking Lita in the Sharpshooter. She wails and wails until Benoit finally releases it and leaves. Only to return about 10 seconds later and say "Oh, by the way, your baby's dead" and leave just as quickly. -
Is the deadline going to be Monday night then (GMT), or is this Monday morning (GMT)?
-
Well, it may be rushed, but you'll get a Gauntlet Match. And by 'may' I mean it 'will no doubt be no more than 2k and written in goofy internet OMGDZ TEH SUPLEXXX~! language'.

To think, I've been saying this for months. As soon as a WWE heel turns face, they become a weak version of their heel persona. It's happened to Eddie, Cena, Van Dam, Orton, Jericho...yet, the biggest star in recent memory is Austin, who remained 'heelish' but was a face. Shame Vince has forgotten that.

Mark Jindrak completes my mainly untalented team.

Okay...might as well get this going early so I don't miss it, like I usually do. I guess I'd better defend my ICTV Title, seeing as I haven't really been that great of a champion yet. But, if possible, could I have something other than a straight singles match. 3 way, 4 way, OTTR Battle Royal, Ladder...whatever, just not a straight singles. Cheers.

I wonder if the career highlights on that Tale Of The Tape change as you go through the career mode? Doubtful, but it'd be a nice touch.

Billy Kidman.

Wait a sec...people are surprised that Orton may have dropped overness after becoming Ronnie Garvin '04? He wins the belt one month, loses it the next and SHOCK HORROR people begin to stop caring about him. Coincidence? Maybe. But it damn sure didn't help him. Oh, and I still remember a few weeks ago when this folder was pro-Orton. How times do change. Quickly.
-
Wow...that's just shocking. Always being a fan of Bossman, this is real sad news. Real sad. But besides that, 42 is too early to go for anyone. RIP Ray.

So, does this mean Show has paid his dues now? Nice to see they didn't end up shooting the fans anyway. I guess it's much more humane to put Moolah and Mae out there, and twice as effective.
-
Well...I'm impressed.

People actually want to see Jericho/Triple H? Have the past few years taught you nothing? Has this board taught you nothing? I'd rather have Jericho defend the IC Title than face HHH in a match he won't win. Why would they do anymore than a small selection though? It'll be a shortlist of 'worthy' contenders, in an attempt to be more 'legitimate' and cash in because it's awards season and the Oscars are coming up soon. Hell, when was the last time the nominations for best actor at the Oscars was "every man who's starred in a film in a certain time period and is therefore eligible".
