When? The first one that comes to mind is Angle's reign that ran through Armageddon 00. Angle seemed to come up looking the fool at every turn. Foley as Commish made it even worse. I mean, there was the Taker/Kurt/Eric farce at Survivor Series. Armageddon was a positive, until the ending which made Kurt look even luckier than London and Kidman do now. Austin had him beat, but HHH saved him. HHH had him beat, but Austin saved him. And then he lost the belt at NWO. His real shining moments came after he lost the belt and got serious briefly, threatening to break Rock's ankle. Angle plays the bumbling fool well, but it did nothing to help his title reign. Oh, and I also await Eddie's talking car. All it'll take is one writer to watch a re-run of Knightrider, and you just know it'll happen. Eddie: Orrallay! Car: (monotone) VIVA... LA... RAZA. Cole: HA HA HA! Tazz: Oh my god, the car can talk. It can really talk! Ya gotta love Eddie Guerrero! Cole: And look at Angle run away! He's scared of the car! He thinks it's magic! Anyway...on reading the show, quick congrats to everybody who won and thumbs up to those who showed only to have their dreams of victory crushed...and all that. A big congrats to Drazon though for getting #1 contendership, which I'd say is well deserved considering your recent showings.

It's not physically possible to overuse 'Citizen' for Comet. Seriously. It's like Lawler and 'puppies' or JR and 'hoss'. From the quick read I took, it looks a very solid match. Follows the face in peril law of wrestling well, even if that face is perrenial heel Mike Van Siclen...but that is no detriment to the match, as Mike is enough of a face now. Personally I'd have gone with Cortez in peril, but that's just me. Toxxic and TMM's battle was to be expected. To be honest, the only thing that bothered me was Mr Roboto. If it had been your regular tag team match, lower down the card, then I'd commend you guys for it because it was pretty humorous. But for a Tag Team Title match, in which your match would have switched the titles...eh, maybe it's me, but that was a problem. Besides that a very good effort and it still amuses me as to how far you've come Spike since I've been around, despite the fact you've been around for years longer than me. Max. I don't want to sound soppy, cliched, off topic or whatever...but you really do have a future. Seriously. A very impressive showing that you can be pleased with, certainly. I liked King coming out in gold...that was a small, nic touch. Oh, and of course, I'm glad you had Riley souring towards me as that was pretty important. Obviously our matches had similar dynamics, or at least the things we discussed. Wasn't sure how big of a part you wanted Manson to play, but you do well to keep the Manson/King feud in the spotlight. In ring wise, you've certainly got a good understanding. To be critical, as I'm sure you want...maybe, just maybe, the outside distractions were a bit too prominent. At times, it seemed Kelly interfered slightly more than your stats would indicate. Then it got a bit chaotic towards the end. And the ending was kind of too 'out of nowhere' for my liking, as it seemed like Maddix got pinned after hitting a dropkick where perhaps more emphasis on a cradled pin might have helped. And also, you didn't focus on Maddix's knee leading off Cortez's match, which may have been a factor. Besides those nitpicks though, that was a very good match. It had enough of Maddix's pace and it seemed to flow well. The action was exciting, you got everything in that I asked you to in terms of my storyline and you continued yours...and you show a lot of potential.

Trivia...the difference is, Bravo was only 'Canada's Strongest Man' and because he was a heel, as you mentioned, Jesse Ventura helped him. However, Henry has always been put across as a legitimate World's Strongest Man. Remember when he did those strongman stunts on Smackdown? He got no help. Sure, Ron Simmons was standing around cheering him on. But the WWE have made efforts to make this 'gimmick' legitimate, unlike Dino's which was a legitimate gimmick. If you get what I mean.

Yeah, Vicne is pretty good with that stuff, though usually he keeps it to the wrestlers. I think he tried or did pay for rehab for Jeff Hardy and X-pac IIRC. Isn't he paying for Waltman's current rehab too, or at least part of it with Trips.

I have little patience for them. Incredibly overrated promotion. The MOST overrated promotion ever. Nothing has EVER approached their level of overratedness. Hey, that's no problem with me. Each to their own and all that. And, I agree people overrate it...which isn't to say I'm not a fan, but certainly not a diehard fan. He was stale before then. As a heel? Technically his last heel run was InVasion and that's when he was at his most valuable during his WWF/E tenure. WWE cut out the stalling --- improving his matches immensely. True. But he doesn't really need to stall anymore than Orton (hans in the air pose) or Jericho (the shuffle thingy) do to interact with the fans. It's not like he'd suddenly become less stale as a heat. His offense is far too weak for a heel to begin with. -=Mike As a heel, he'd be more likely to turn on his cocky persona which, if anything, is his strongest point. Of course, you're right about his offense. But there's nothing to stop him being a heel and using the same fancy-ass kicks he uses now. Just as long as he stops trying to use the forearm. You see, at least Mike doesn't resort to this. Ever watch a ROH show? The exact same thing happens there. It's the same in other indie feds too. Don't make out that it's just an 'ECW thing'.

I can see it getting banned altogether, what with Kidman's track record and Lesnar's botch at Mania...I can't, however, see Kidman being stripped of it to give to London. The last thing the WWE wants for Kidman and London is friction between the partners, if they'e trying to make a long-term partnership. Besides...London's 450 looks more spectacular and effective than the SSP anyway. Or, at least IMO.

Uhm...yeah, interesting. Hopefully Chavo's not seriously injured... The sooner Angle/Eddie ends the better. Let's hope the 2/3 Falls Match is the blow-off match to this because I've seen more than enough of this. Who gives a shit about Eddie's car, Long's car, Angle's car or whatever the hell that segment is about. The way it reads, then it leaves Long and Eddie looked weak and Angle with a slight bit of credibility...until he comes back, and is made to look weak. Is it really that hard to have a feud where Angle and Eddie hate each other, without endless ridiculous distractions?

It's all about Corporate Rocky if we're talking cool in the sense I think we are. Looked good, dressed sharply, quick with the one liners, the eyebrow. Rock had it all in terms of cool. If we're talking cool as in 'hey, you're a cool guy' then it'd be Austin because his character was the type people could relate to. If it's cool in terms of 'cold', if you get what I mean, then Malenko was cool because he went about his business without any emotion, in a good way. If we're talking cool as in "OMG he's so kew1~"...then it's Edge, hands down. It really depends on what you define 'cool' as.

Anyone else think Mike hates ECW? I dunno, it's just...this vibe he gives off sometimes. Maybe it's just me. Anyway, RVD has become like a lot of other people since he's turned face...stale. He got over as a heel so he was turned face and sure enough, he's become stale. Just like Eddie, Cena, Rock, Austin etc. I mean, the basics are still there. But really, his character is a shell of it's former self. If you go back to that Summer Games Relay thing, the crowd popped for him...but gone are the days of RVD really interacting with the fans, talking himself up endlessly to the camera. Now, it's just 'hold arms out, grin, R...V...D, rinse repeat'. If they were to turn him heel and keep him heel, even when/if the crowd react positively to him, then we'll talk. Until then, I really can't summon up the strength to give a damn about face RVD...not least as World Champion.
