I reckon Edge could play the Evolution style suave heel. A haircut certainly wouldn't harm his image and although he's only really had experience as goth heel or comedy heel, he's probably got enough charisma to stand in Orton's role. Thing is, Evolution doesn't need Edge and Edge doesn't really need Evolution. At least not way Orton and Batista did. Val I could definately see in Evolution though and it'd be a welcome change of pace, without being a total character overhaul.

Great, it's another Benoit/HHH consipiracy thread! Back on the subject of Raw, here's hoping there's someone involved in the Diva crap this week like Bischoff...at least he didn't pretend to give a toss about it. Everyone who has (Lawler, Jericho and Coach mainly) has come off looking a total tool so far. Hell, there's only really The Rock who'd be able to make it entertaining and positive...and even that's a long shot.

Quick comments of doom, with detailed shit to come later of some sort. Congrats to Strangler for putting together a solid Mall Brawl. So many no shows (4 out of the 6, if my memory's right) is not good. Petey probably shouldn't have been on the card anyway, James is unreliable, Dustin hasn't been seen around for ages and I'm assuming it was Vlad who also no-showed as he was having problems. Still, credit to Strangler for putting together a Mall Brawl worthy of my laughter. Duran's comeback = markout~! Seriously. Solid if unspectacular stuff from Candace. Credit still that he showed for the PPV. As long as you stick at it Candy, you'll improve I'm sure. Indeed, this was an improvement from your first match and in all honesty, you're a very good writer. We have high standards and you're meeting them. The MVS/TMM/TD stuff is great. Mucho great. I smell a Todd/TMM face turn which would do the SWF no harm at all, considering the face ranks are pretty weak now. Credit goes to Davis for doing something with the Hunt no-show. Sure, it wasn't a great match. Hell, it wasn't a match at all really. But by continuing your storyline you get plus points. Not sure on Hunt's story for no-showing so I won't comment. Nice hype from Manson and a very solid match. I'll admit, when I came back from my week off I wondered what the hell had happened when you had the belt. But you've proven yourself with the belt and I'm impressed with ya man. Keep this up Manson and you'll go far my friend. Ooh...promo and hype video from me. And my match which is decent enough I guess. Oh...and it is LOOOONG. Seriously...it didn't look that long on WordPad, I swear. Course, I wouldn't have wrote 16k if I'd known the troubles Johnny had. But there ya go. Well...the Tag Title match isn't next. That'll teach me for not reading the card properly... Of course, Dace won by default but from what I've read it's still a very good match as usual. The usual come as you are, no bullshit, no gimmicks match you get out of Dace. And I mean that in the best possible way. Looking forward to Toxx/Dace at Genesis and I'm really torn between who I want to win. Hey, it's the tag match! Close enough. Usual Masked Man mix of complete madness and great action...taken over by Cortez, who did a marvelous job. The OAOAST would be proud. Great match and I really look forward to this TMM/MVS/TD love triangle moving into Genesis. What can I say about this. A King appearance and GSMS back on the active roster? That's a mark out folks. And nice to see the legends back for Genesis... Which brings us on to the big one. Kudos to Toxxic for making his match look a more 'normal' length than I did. Oh, and of course for writing one HELL of a match. Major congrats of course on winning the title in such a short time-span. You deserve it man. Now hold onto it and we'll all be happy. All in all another very good show with the unfortunate amount of no-shows...even though some were understandable and you can put reasoning to others, 11 is still FAR too many. IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. True. But Sapp has lost two shoot fights recently, convincingly, which hasn't done his profile any good. On the Tyson subject...I kinda saw it coming. Watching the adverts and build, it was all TYSON vs. Williams as it always is. Tyson was the favourite. The bout was made to give him a win. It was just destined to backfire on him. And now, this has to be the end of the line.

1) Orton will be winning it for the first-time. 2) Orton will be emotional about it. Obviously not on Benoit's levels, but that's something totally different. 3) It shouldn't be rule that someone has to wrestle for 18 years and around the world before they become World Champion. Say what you will about Lesnar, but giving him the belt meant more to it's image than anything else they did over the previous few months. It went from holder to holder non-stop...we had Hogan holding it, the longest reign was roughly a couple of months and the top contender at one point was Jeff Hardy. Lesnar brought stability to the belt, had great matches and got the fans' approval.

And I'm done and dusted at 16.1k, pre-edit. Far from the greatest match ever, but I don't think it's that bad. And it's finished, which for a PPV is a rarity in itself for me.

Orton isn't ready for the title, but let's face it...besides Jericho, no-one will be happy over Benoit losing the title. And if he's involved in a feud with Edge, that puts him in 'IC Title contendership' by default. Which is going to cause MASSIVE backlash here. I still believe too much is being read into it, and it's less Benoit getting demoted and more Benoit feuding with the guy who happens to be IC Champion. Then again, I doubt anyone will agree. Add into that Heidenreich vs. Taker, JBL as champion and Triple H being alive and it's going to be a LOOOONG summer in this folder.

Zsasz...the whole humiliation thing would be fine for a 'normal' feud. But they spent months building up how much the WWE Title meant to Eddie Guerrero, making it seem like the most important thing in his life. Surely if someone cost you one of the most important things in your life, you wouldn't be rational enough to think 'I'm going to embarrass you from now to SS'. Especially considering Eddie's never been portrayed as the calmest guy in the world...except maybe RR04. I can see your point, but it really doesn't fit in a feud like this and this early in the feud. And to be honest, I think it's less an issue of the bookers wanting Eddie to make Angle's life hell...and more an issue of the bookers not wanting to take a risk and make a comedy character serious. Something they HAVE to do if the feud's going to be remembered favorably/at all in 4 months time.

Wrong folder. But, yeah, I've always been a big Scorpio mark...even in the Job Squad days. He had the charisma to go with the wrestling, so it was a pity he got lumbered with the Flash Funk gimmick, was put in the J.O.B Squad and had to rap in WCW. Without all that, he might have gone far.

If London goes the HBK route in terms of turns and allignments, then he could be a contender. Could is a BIG word here though. As has been said, it's all in the booking and so far that booking doesn't favor anyone London's size. Guys a lot better suited to the main event than Paul London have been denied the 'big' push. Rey Mysterio. Dean Malenko. Jeff Hardy, to a certain extent. I can't see a reason why he'd buck the trend, unless another TLC comes along and he does something nutty to put himself over.

Tempted to say Shannon Moore. But if Long really is going to be a fair GM (at least, for the first month) then I say Cena.

Orton'll likely cheat to win though. And if that's the case, at the end of it, Benoit will look no worse than you're saying Triple H does for losing with Eugene's assistance.
