Small Country Considering Banning WWE Shows
King Cucaracha replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
A Bhutan who fears technology would make an awesome gimmick. Like, he'd cower in fear if he ever caught sight of the Titantron during his match. He could call microphones 'magic sticks'. They could have him on the Highlight Reel, and when he sees the Jeri-Tron he collapse into the fetal position. It's gold. -
Isn't it usually the cruiserweights who hit 18 different head-drop variations in a match and kick out from each one. ...aren't I one of the guys around here who writes those matches? *shuts up*
-
Nice to see the Observer on the ball. Bischoff never said it was a number one contendership match, he said Trips gets the shot if he beats up Eugene, so there's no chance of Benoit/Eugene... ...which we've already worked out.
-
Which Raw superstar COULD main event Smackdown? Right now, every single one of them... Who should? Well, personally, I'd say it'd be best to move HBK over. HBK/Eddie has the potential to be off the charts, and that way we could really hold out the HBK/Angle dream match for WM 21. Other than that, Jericho seems to be the best candidate.

Best game of the tournament by far. Great comeback from the Czechs, and Poborsky deserves major credit for being so unselfish to set up Smicer's goal. Now let's hope Holland qualify over the freaking Germans.
-
Beautiful.
-
Man, this Holland/Czech game is definately the best of the tournament so far. Just great excitement for almost the entire game.

Main Event Non-Title Bout; Special Guest Referee Dace Night vs Janus Special Guest Referee: Tom Flesher Come on. It's not like we can't have a complicated World Title picture now, is it? Dace to get the (semi) upset. Cruiserweight Title Match Austin Sly vs Johnny Dangerous J.D with the title defence...although, it won't be easy by any means. Submissions Match "Deathwish" Danny Williams vs Mike Van Siclen Danny is angry. Danny is given a submissions match. Danny kicks ass. USJL Title Match Alan Clark vs Aecas vs Todd Cortez vs Masked Man Wow. Poor Rando. You can't go against the Maskosaurus. Toxxic vs "Hollywood" Spike Jenkins Toxx beats Jenks, and celebrates with a Pepsi. Hardcore Title Contendership Ryan Dustin vs Munich vs Manson Welcome back to Manson! Win for Dustin! Munich will be there too! Heath Black vs Martin "Big Country" Hunt Uhm...very much a coin-toss. Heads it is. Hunt it is. Max King vs Petey The Irish Penguin If this it what it takes for 'IL' to write consistantly again, then great. I really don't look forward to writing against him though with this gimmick.

WWE News: Test, Steiner, HBK, Ace, More
King Cucaracha replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
I thought most hated him? Well, it does say power and respect rather than liked, which more likely means he's the kind of guy everybody tries not to piss off. -
HHH: "Wha...what the hell are you doing?" Benoit: "THIS...IS MY ANGRY FAAAAAACE!!!" HHH: "Really?" Benoit: "Yeah, why? Not convincing enough?" HHH: "Y...you looked like you were about to sneeze." Benoit: "Really?" HHH: "Totally." Benoit: "...Wanna see my happy face?" *Benoit pulls exact same facial expression* *Hunter backs away slowly*

IL... ...you are a freak. Other than that, a very good promo show.

Create-a-Tron would be a great idea to avoid all the CAWs having 'WWE logo' as a titantron. It must be possible. LOW2 has that sort of intro video, and it was possibly to alter the wrestlers in the opening video of the N64 games.

Lovely goal from Zlatan. Magnificent. I'm finding myself routing for the Swedes for some reason. I can see them going real far in this.
-
Well, he also sucked in TNA and I think he may have had a bad match in MLW once...not sure on that one. Plus he looked horrible against Scotty last week.
-
Zlatan should have scored, and now Italy are fighting back. Yeah. The gaps behind Cole and Scholes during the France game were shocking at times, because Scholes pulled inside and Cole covered him, but nobody covered Cole. The left side is still a problem. The Bridge/Cole as a partnership down the left never got a fair chance IMO.

The greatest night of television ever!
King Cucaracha replied to Vanhalen's topic in Television & Film
Meh, I never used watch Big Brother but I saw it last night. Crazy stuff. I was surprised to see the guy throwing that metal tray at the gobby chick (yeah, don't know their names). Sadly, it was a good representation of the British white trash around nowadays. -
Well, my heart was right on the 3-0 England result. Poor performance, but that didn't matter. And thankfully France don't lose to Croatia. If Crotia won, we'd be in trouble. Sven needs to take a gamble and drop Owen for Vassell for the Croatia game. Vassell did more in 5 minutes than Owen in has in the past 6 months, and actually looked dangerous where as 'World Class' Owen looked anything but.

But, but...Brock used the chair. He cheated! Didn't that want to make you boo him! In all seriousness, if they release a HBK/Flair/Benoit style DVD with Angle's career best matches on it, it's the kind of match that the WWE would consider a classic and would probably be put on. It shouldn't be, but it wouldn't surprise me.
-
Well, I do agree with you. But to be honest, if that sort of thing bothered me then there have been plenty of pre-Eugene instances that would have made me turn off. To be honest, wrestling isn't something I take totally seriously anyway, so Vinnie Mac trying to insult me or my intelligence doesn't really come into my mind when watching a show. I do see your point though. I don't see the cause for claim in this lawsuit though. I mean, come on. 'Retard' characters, for the want of a better word, aren't exactly exclusive to one show now, are they. And if you've got a retarded character in an entertainment show, Eugene is one of the names that instantly spring to mind to most people. Eugene the retard...not exactly original, but it's not the sort of idea you'd need to steal off someone.

Probably a promo from moi.

Feedback for the 6/17 HD
King Cucaracha replied to Patty O'Green's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
Aw, shucks. *blushes* Glad the match went down ok, seeing as it was somewhat of a rush-job. It looks better on the board than it did on WordPad, that's for sure. Anywho...another very well done show, and I'm sooo looking forward to WarGheymes. -
Bleh. My heart says 3-0 England. My head says the Swiss nick an early goal and put everyone behind the ball, holding out for a 1-0 win. I just have that feeling when England play now.

I could see that Mysterio shirt being a good seller, because it's relatively 'neutral', but not to the point of being too boring. That Orton shirt is a nice idea too, except that Booker and RVD are not legends. They're not, but they're booked to be different personas. It's like when HHH thought he could always beat Dude Love in 97 and Mankind in 2000...yet when it was Cactus Jack he was facing, it was treated as a whole different matter. Plus it helps fill the list.
-
Err...continuing the cheap SWF plugs, we did that about a year ago with Vodka...something like a shot every five minutes I think.

I hate that arguement. People didn't stop watching WCW just because of Jeff Jarrett wearing the gold. Numbers dropped during his reign, so they clearly weren't enamored with him. He's also been champ in TNA for the majority of ITS existence, and the buyrates are still horrid and they still can't sell out the Asylum. Did the numbers rise when DDP was champ? Or Arquette? Or Russo? Or Steiner? Or Booker? Do you see where I'm going. People don't watch wrestling just to see the champions. This ain't boxing. People can be persuaded to watch shows if there's a good undercard and poor main eventers. In Hogan and Flair's peaks, that wasn't strictly true. Now, it is. SD is drawing fans to shows somehow. And who forgot that Nash was a crap draw? He didn't draw as World Champ in his life. Eddy is putting butts in the seats. Jeff never has. Jeff never will. No. With Nash, my point is people forget the fact that 1995 was a horrible year all 'round, not just with Nash. It's no solely Nash's fault that 1995 was a poorly drawing year for the company. Partly, yes. Mostly, yes. Eddy's a draw? Maybe on the house show circuit. I wouldn't know, since I don't regularly check that sort of thing. Explain Judgement Day's buyrate...without the word 'Bradshaw', or we can all safely say that Summerslam's poor buyrate wasn't Diesel's fault, it was all Mabel's. House show attendance is on an uptick with SD --- no, I don't know why, either. Eddy puts asses in the seats. And he's so much better than Jeff that words can't begin to describe it. -=Mike Again, I didn't know house show attendance was up and to be honest I didn't think that in itself made for a successfully drawing champion. And, yeah, Eddie is miles better than Jarrett, no doubt.
