Well...he sure got me. *runs off and cries*

I got lazy. Hell, I'm less than 24 hours of near enough failing my Maths AS course and I'm still lazy. W00t~! at match of the night from Flesher anyway.
-
Well, if the rumours about Kane are true, at least this is a sensical way to put him in the title picture. The fact that half of those guys on that list are glorified jobbers is pretty funny though.
-
I call opening promo. And thanks for the non title match, as the promo affects something relatively important.

Heyman would be decent for the right matches, if he weren't an on-screen talent. He used to do all the ECW ones. I'd agree with Vince, only if it was old-school, talks slightly too fast, Vinnie Mac. Them's where the days.

Congrats to the winners...which is about all I have time for, except to say... W00T~! G0LD~!

Well...England will most likely get trounced by France, who'll be out to prove themselves after what happened at the World Cup. To be honest, any result better than 3-0, and I'll be happy. From there, we SHOULD beat Croatia and Switzerland. But it's England. I think we'll JUST scrape through the group stage, and go out to Portugal in the first knockout stage. Owen is our best striker, and his form has been terrible. To top it off, we have no other striker worth anything. Rooney hasn't played consistantly all season. Heskey doesn't score enough. Vassell has done nothing to warrant a place. Smith's temper might cost him a lace in the squad. DeFoe is 50/50 to get into the squad. Shearer, the best English striker, is retired from international football. Our only hope of good performances lies at the feet of the midfield. Stevie Gerrard and Frank Lampard. Plus John Terry at the back. Still, I doubt we'll make the semis, let alone win it. 96 was our year, and we blew it. This year I reckon it'll be France winning, with Portugal the outside bet. Funniest thing all season.

Is it true that Europeans hate Americans?
King Cucaracha replied to Nighthawk's topic in General Chat
One rule: DON'T CALL IT SOCCER!!! Especially in Britain. Those soccer rioters...they exist. You most likely WILL hear that question in England once you get talking to someone. I wouldn't have a clue about Germany, as I've never been there. Never really had the desire to. Best advice is avoid obnoxiousness, dumb questions and the typical American tourist look...which may not be too frowned on in Germany. Again, I'm no expert. -
What Factor is Most responsible for Brock Quitting
King Cucaracha replied to a topic in General Wrestling
Well, obviously they all played a part... ...but feuding with Holly was the catalyst. The other stuff only started coming out after the feud. -

Yeah...it's just that this week has had the hype treatment, and is coming off the back of some solid weeks. Then again, it SHOULD be a good show. I'm just a little wary. Yep. -
Let's play a game of "Would You Rather?"
King Cucaracha replied to Nevermortal's topic in No Holds Barred
Simpsons...if you can use the mute button. You're locked inside an old cell, which there's literally no escape from, and no-one can hear you scream. Would you rather try and claw your way through the metal door and wait to die of starvation, or hang yourself? -
Todd Pettingill. I'm dead serious. Or Jim Cornette.

Oh, I totally agree, because it lets us wrestle competitively against bigger opponents. Plus, most Cruiserweights nowadays are more than spot-wrestlers. For some guys it works (Special K), but it depends. Besides, seeing as we're the SMARKS Wrestling Federation, it's hardly surprising we've got mixed styles. Eddie. Noble. Styles. Malenko (less so). I also agree with Zack, in that this style would take some getting used to from coming from the OATTOAST in some cases. There's a lot of subtle differences between writing for one and writing for the other, which it can be hard to understand without having been in both. On another note...my match is near enough done, and I'm relieved that I've actually done something. Granted, my coursework is about a week or two late, and for all I know won't be accepted before my exams which start in a couple of weeks. But...meh. I showed. -
The One and Only Raw Thread (May 10, 2004)
King Cucaracha replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in The WWE Folder
According to the news thread, I think that was the plan, but they've soured on Kenzo's in-ring work. Surprise suprise. Anyway...I'm pumped for the show, but with all the hype surrounding it I'm pretty worried it's going to be a letdown of a show. Jericho/Christian in a Cage should be good with time. Edge/Orton should be hit or miss. Same with Batista/Tajiri. HHH/Benjamin'll be nothing we haven't seen before, and Eugene/Conway won't get too much time. Not to be pesimistic. But, I half-expect some bad reactions after this is over. -
DVD=wave of the future. The reason mainly is the fact all the videos were pulled from the site over Christmas due to the Pandas (which led to a big sale, which I was much grateful for)...so now they can re-realease, or whatever the ruling is, I guess they want to get them back out on the market to make up what loses they had from pulling them. Which is good for people like me, who are missing odd PPV's such as Rumble '92 and KOTR 93, and can no longer get the videos easily. DH/Deon- I'm not sure of the ruling, but I think it's something to do with the old logo being 'ok' now, so I assume they'll go up to when they had the new logo for these DVD's. And then they might edit off the logos and stuff for the Attitude shows maybe.

Well...you can add Todd to the list of grounded Cruisers...when he gets back that is. Still, that's 11 Cruisers and no sign of a Puro or Lucha style cruiser. That's more what I mean by the division being odd. Which it isn't really, considering the nature of today's 'cruiserweights' like Jamie Noble, Chavo Guerrero, A.J Styles and Trent Acid. -
Wrestling isn't just about workrate. Excuse the cheapshot, but considering you're called RVDMARK4:20, I would have thought you'd realised that. What kind of story is told by two small guys, with a combined repitoire of 28 moves, dropping each other on their head for 30 minutes? The kind of story that says "this move is sick, and would compress your spine...but it'll only get a two count. This ain't sports entertainment damn it~!" And that's from a ROH fan. It depends on what mood your in. Sometimes people are in the mood for a more fun style of wrestling, with less depth and more character. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but Quake/Hogan wasn't in the 80's, which your arguement is based on. Considering Perfect was the IC Champion going into the show Quake/Hogan main evented, I don't think being mis-used was an issue personally. Besides that though...good workers not being showcased. That's not a bad factor of the 80's. That's a bad factor of wrestling. The best guy's aren't neccessarily the best guys...they're the guys the booker thinks are the best guys. Again though, you say bad workers were in the main part of the show. I assume you're referring to SS90, which was headlined by Ultimate Warrior(bad worker, over like hell) against Rick Rude (one of the more undderrated wrestlers of the early 90's). But hey, obviously your arguement is based on Hogan not putting Perfect over or something, so nevermind. I'm sorry, but WTF? You mean in ten years, there was only ONE 'workrate match'? I think there's a bunch of people much more qualified to call bullshit on this than I am. Seriously...I don't get what your prblem with the time is, apart from the fact you obviously have some sort of dislike for Hogan and the like. And forgetting about the 80's pre-85. Bob Backlund didn't have workrate? Yeah.
-
Oh yes. I'm getting these two, Mania III and IV, and KOTR 93' and 94' when the next catalogue comes through my door. Ownage.
-
If they go the Foley route, and basically let him chose his own matches, there's got to be a Benoit/Eddie match seeing as they're so close.

The WF Cruiser Division is a bit odd now, because we seem to all have a relatively grounded style. I mean, I'm 210lbs, and my matches are nearly always focused on heelism...maybe too much. Clark is more high impact than high flying. Johnny too. Spike is kinda half and half, same with IL who's more hardcore. Jacob is more hardcore. Toxxic, Cortez and Stryke are all midway too. That's probably why the division doesn't stand out quite as much...our styles are generally suited to any title, rather than WC's who's is focused more on Cruiserweight action than the ICTV division. -
Anyone care to comment on the show we just had? Not only a new World Champion, but a new HCG Champion...me winning my Office Brawl. SpikeBerg's streak continuing. And WC and JD pulling out the promoage. Surely someone wants to comment...
-
My SWF finisher...the Tornado Downward Spiral. Probably been done before, but if it wasn't more than a year ago, then I lay claim to creating it. I know Red did a flying version at Expect The Unexpected, but I've never seen it done out of a corner.
-
Half decent, but the fact Edge doesn't stand a chance in hell of winning drags it down. Great match. It's Albert vs Rikishi. What do you expect? A yawner, although the pop for the discus punch was so scary that it bears interest. Decent stuff. Filler... Boring. Both of them phoned it in...much worse than it should have been. Overall...even with HBK/Bulldog on top, it's not really worth that money.

You mean apart from his match against Kibagami on the show you just posted? Err...zing~! And, crap. I didn't think about whever it was outdoor or not. Better get re-typing.
