Comments of Lockdown...

I think somebody needs to try and rationalise my match. Seriously. -
Stephanie McMahon directly made the call...
King Cucaracha replied to QuestionMan's topic in The WWE Folder
Stephanie McMahon- Fighting for women's rights since 2004. -
I can't say as I'm surprised, considering the injuries he's racked up over his career. But it's a shame to see it happen to a guy like Dreamer, who I always enjoyed watching, and like people have said worked his ass off for the business. Saying that, I predict that he'll wind up going to ROH by the end of the year. That'll give him at least one last match...possibly more.

Stryke vs. Todd Cortez Might be close, but Todd should take it. Tables Match (Crow, Dace and Spike) It's Dace...and tables... Cruiser Contenders, Part One: Insane Luchardore vs. Austin Sly I really dig Sly's matches, so I'll go with him. Cruiser Contenders, Part Two: Jacob Helmsley vs. Alan Clark As a Clark Mark, or a Cmark, I can't go against Alan. Hardcore Title: MVS vs. Aecas We can't have a title change twice in two shows, surely? Well...again. USJL belt: Maddix vs. West NP of course, except to say I'm struggling to find time for this right now. Submissive Cage Of Redemption (sounds like a bad porn name): Flesher vs. Duran It's Taamo...but this'll be damn close. #1 Contendah~! Match: Kibs vs. Toxxic A win for my fellow Brit. -

The USJL Title... disapointing people that wanted shots at other titles since 2003~!~!~!~! If it makes you feel any better Landon, I'm going on vacation next week so basically I'm writing this pupper up in the next two days or not at all. Yesssss sir. Well, it's not that...considering I knew I had the shot. I just found it ironic that the Cruiser #1 Contenders matches were on the show I was busy. It's no real problem or anything. And...yes, that does make me feel better. -

Well...I missed out on a Cruiser shot...again. And I have to try and beat Coy. And write 4,800. Despite having two late assignments to complete urgently. It's gonna be a fun weekend... -
Actually, I've thought about it and...this may not be too bad. Remember the Malenko-Lita angle, where Malenko wore the socks in bed and wanted to get with Lita but had a wedding ring. And now look at him... Chavo's screwed.
-
Well, yeah, but...still. I'd have been shocked. I dunno about angry, although I wouldn't agree with it. Do you really need that answered. The mark crowd would respond better to a rookie coming in and getting a fluke win than they will to Jackie as Cruiserweight Champion. Matt has done more to earn a title shot than Jackie. Beating Crash Holly a few years ago doesn't really count. Jazz I could believe, because she wrestled men regularly in ECW. Jacquie beat Crash once. The damage has been done. for the next few months, and maybe more, Chavito will have that hanging over his head...especially with Michael Cole being the anti-Chavo announcer. Why should you care about London? He's had more ***** matches than the majority of the roster has. WHY SHOULD YOU CARE ABOUT JACKIE!?! Wait...so Chavo can't beat the least talented female on the roster, yet he'd be in line for a World Title shot. Layfield is bad enough for Eddie's credibility. That'd be just another nail in the coffin. I agree partially. The whole OMG FUCK TEH WEE~! stuff is lame. But pleasing the fans is their job. Jackie as Cruiser Champ pleases no-one. I have the right to be pessimistic when Chavo Guerrero is jobbing to Jacquline. You're lucky I'm not AS, or you'd be WWEApologetic of the Week. Why should I be pleased that London's getting T.V time, when it's 5 minutes getting squashed under a mask? Why should I be pleased about Eddie being champ, when his title run has been a debacle...long before JBL. I enjoy JBL. I enjoy Rico/Haas. I enjoy Chavo. I do not enjoy Jacqueline holding a prestigious title, considering she's not worthy enough of being the Women's Champion. It's not women hate. Not for me anyway. I realise some people's problem is with gender. Personally, if it were Jazz or Victoria or maybe even Trish or Molly, I wouldn't mind so much. It's Jacquline. Outside of Ivory, she's the least over women's wrestler in the company. She's probably better than Ivory and Kim, and the usual T&A girls...outside of them though, she sucks. She isn't good enough to hold the Women's Title. She's not even good enough to have a run in the frickin' division. Yet she's holding the Cruiserweight Champion, and beating someone like Chavo Guerrero with his father helping him. That's pathetic. Apologies for the long rant...but things need to be said on this issue.
-
Wow...just...wow. Victoria I could stomach. Jazz I wouldn't have any problem with. Trish, Lita, Molly, Gail...but Jackie? Is there some sort of sexual discrimination they're trying to get out of or something? I really can't see any other reason to do anything like this.

Long throwing his shoe at Trish to break up a pinfall was equally as classic. Not sure if Debra's 'assets' count, but they should. Not only where they used to ditract opponents, but they are most likely foreign objects.

Bad Blood Main Event announced on radio ad
King Cucaracha replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in The WWE Folder
To be honest, I'd be interested to see Benoit vs. Christian myself. Thing is, I'm worried that if Christian gets the shot against Benoit, then that leaves Jericho against either Trish or Tomko. Both of which will likely tank. I'd dig Benoit/Jericho/XTain for the title too, if it didn't mean another triple threat for Benoit. -

JCMD- Angle/Rock and HHH/Austin was different, considering The Rock was winning the title. But besides that, if they do go with Jericho/Benoit, it would be face vs face. It's very rare for a face vs face match to go on last. However, I wouldn't be shocked to see HIAC go in middle of the card. -
Big Name Rappers To Appear At WWE Pay-Per View?
King Cucaracha replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
If I can contain my laughter for a moment... I'm not much of a fan of rap music really. I don't mind the mainstream artists such as Eminem and 50 Cent, once I've heard a song five or six times and it's got stuck in my head. But I don't go out of my way to listen to rap music. I wouldn't call myself a racist. Most rap songs I prefer have a decent beat in the background, because to be honest I don't see the skill in speaking a bunch of words which generally don't mean anyhing really quickly. Eminem I can stand, because his songs generally have a decent beat and his stuff has some meaning. "My Band" is one of my favourite songs right now. But besides that, I'm totally indifferent to rap music. And again, I wouldn't call myself a racist. Back on topic...I fail to see the general consensus of rap fans becoming wrestling fans just because a couple of guys appear on a PPV. So why they're targetting that spectrum of fans is beyond me. -
Luger was over. Early 90's marks + USA gimmick = instant overness. It was after Mania when he lost to Yoko and got involved in that feud with Perfect which went nowhere that he started losing overness really.
-
Well, at least it shouldn't be cut out in the UK like other Eugene segments. Hopefully. You have to give credit to Dinsmore and Regal for making this whole storyline work, because both have played their roles brilliantly. Especially Regal, who must be one of the best performers outside of the ring the WWE currently employs. Hilarious.

The general game gets tedious so quickly. Maybe it's just me, but I find the idea of telling someone to go to the toilet really boring. Not to mention the fact you have to pay total attention to the game...you get up to grab a beer, and suddenly five of the Sim's bars are down to red. However, if it's like the GBA version which I think is Bustin' Out, it's bearable if only for the fact you're doing 'missions' rather than standing around cooking dinner constantly.

As a Brit, the words 'Who' and 'Why not Burchill' spring to mind. Then I saw the guy, and he looks like OVW guys #48, and I realised why he's getting a contract.

Bad Blood Main Event announced on radio ad
King Cucaracha replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in The WWE Folder
Well, it should be a decent match...and at least the Cell means thankfully we'll have some different spots from their recent previous outings. But still. This HAS to be the last match for a year or so, SURELY. -
It came into it to prove your reasoning for Lesnar being average was faulty at best.
-
You can't carry 'average' workers to ***** matches, whever you're Kurt Angle or not. As for your point...lets name the great RVD matches between Lesnar's joining and now. Or Booker T. Or Jericho. Saying Lesnar is average because his only good matches are against good wrestlers is ridiculous. Saying he's average because he isn't carrying bad wrestlers is equally as ridiculous. Not being able to carry a match doesn't make you an average wrestler.
-
Agreed here. Here's hoping Ipswich go up from the playoffs too. Norwich-Ipswich derby in the Premier? I'd look forward to that.

The fact innocent kids are getting caught up in terrorism is sick enough. The fact innocent are being gunned down just makes this whole situation even worse. How anyone can kill a child like that is beyond me, let alone four and an un-born.
-
The times he did look good, was when he was using the smashmouth style. Vince knew that, which makes the decision to have a slow match curious. And I agree on the smacking about of Lesnar...the match was bad for him...the Stunner was the final nail in the coffin.

Wrestlers where their debut televised matches were
King Cucaracha replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in General Wrestling
As someone mentioned the 1990 Starrcade, would Konnan and Norman Smiley count? -
Has to be Eddie.
