Post Event News Two new signings this week. Youngster Greg Pawluk signs an open contract, worth $14,000 per apperance. Great things are forseen for this kid, and a written contract will be offered to him at the end of the month if he impresses with his attitude. And also, the 'Indie Demi-God' Mikey Whipwreck has finally completed talks and signed a written for $61,000 a month. The former ECW Champion said he was happy to join friends such as The Amazing Red, Chris Divine, James Mitchell and Trinity...plus, to get back into the public eye again with a big company. With We were again very happy with TotalNonstop TV, especially with the response to the main event. Two great shows so far are really helping our image...however, the lack of XPlosion to back it up is a concern. Therfore, we have been in contact with the T.V network WWN about bringing XPlosion back to the airwaves. So far, Nothing Left To Lose's card only has two announced matches. We expect to announce the remaining matches next week in one way or another. Despite the rushed build up, and the absence of Christopher Daniels denying us Daniels/Dusty...we're quite pleased with how the card is looking. The search is on for the next 'breakout star'...with a number of names on the list. Currently top of said list are the X-Division Champion Paul London, Joe Legend and Team IRON's Nick Dinsmore. All three have impressed us recently, and are set to gradually play bigger parts in the shows to gauge their reactions.

Y2Jerk's explanation makes sense up to a point. That point being if you explained all that out on T.V, people wouldn't really take to bad-ass Kurt because he's just some guy who tried to do the right thing, but didn't succeed so he got stressed. Some people would either feel sorry for him for doing the right thing and not succeeding, or for feeling stressed about not succeeding. It's not uncommon to feel that way in the real world, so people will empaphise with Kurt to a certain extent. We want bad ass Kurt. The Kurt AS has been talking about for months. The Kurt that beats family man Kurt hands down. 'Stressed' Kurt doesn't really cut it for a Wrestlemania feud with a recently turned heel. It'd be great if the WWE planned to hot-shot Angle back to face in a few months. I still think the 'E' will go with the obvious solution of 'Angle was paid off by Heyman' or, seeing as that's been done before, 'Angle was paid off by Chavo'. That way, they could explain every little bit of February as Angle playing at Eddie's friend all of a sudden when he hardly cared about him at all prior to January. Basically, Angle was working as the sly under-handed heel all along...getting into Eddie's good books. After all, Eddie wouldn't suspect a thing of his new 'best friend'. Then, when the turn came, THAT'S why Angle didn't let Chavo win the title. It was part of the deal once Eddie got the belt. 'I'll take out Eddie as long as I get the title in return'. Chavo doesn't care as long as Eddie's not champion. That way you could explain off January easily, and have Angle as the bad ass heel.

NWA:TNA TotalNonstop TV 14th April 2004 Live from the TNA Asylum in Nashville, Tennessee Commentators: 'The Professor' Mike Tenay and 'NWA Chief Executive' Don Callis As the pyro hits, we're in Nashville on another Wednesday night, for TotalNonstop TV...and just like last week, Don Callis is already making his way into the ring from ringside. Callis enters the ring, and welcomes everyone to the show. He then turns his attentions to the now departed ex-Chief Of Staff Erik Watts, saying he knows how much Watts relies on his paycheck to feed his 'problem'...before making the sign of a bottle, and pretending to stagger about drunkenly...that's why he didn't fire him from his wrestling contract as well. Callis informs Watts he can earn some of his check next week, as he has to find a partner to face Michael Modest and Donovan Morgan. From there he trashes Watts for messing with the wrong group of people... ...when suddenly, Watts himself jumps over the barrier in his street clothes. Callis turns around to see what the commotion is about...and gets clotheslined!!! Watts dives onto Callis and fires away with repeated right hands, before pulling Callis up and setting up the E-Bomb. Black Shirt Security (the real ones) rush into the ring, but some of them get taken out by Watts. Finally, police officers join in to help...and on Callis' orders, slap on a pair of handcuffs. Watts is carted away to boos, as Callis threatens to send him down and sue him for every dollar he has. OR: 77 Notes: Erik Watts debuted his new gimmick (Badass), it got a positive response. Tenay- Well, I guess that'll teach you for running your mouth Don. Callis- I tell you Mike, Erik Watts is going to regret messing with me. I promise you. Tenay- Maybe so. Matt Stryker debuts here in just a few moments, taking on Spanky, so let's go to the ring. Matt Stryker vs Spanky A solid match, but it could have been a lot better with some more time. Both Spanky and Stryker packed in the high impact, high flying moves, which caused the match to feel a little rushed at times. It was Spanky who looked the more impressive in the opening sequences, even having a little fun with Stryker at times. However, after missing the Left Turn At Alberquerque, Spanky was victim to a flurry of offense. That flurry left him wide open for a superkick for two...but after Stryker went for it a second time, Spanky ducked and went for Sliced Bread #2. Stryker grabbed a handful of shorts to block in mid-air though, before driving Spanky down with a reverse DDT drop, for the cover and the 3 count. Quickly Stryker left the ring, not waiting for Spanky to revive and mention the tug of the tights. Winner: Matt Stryker by pinfall in 7:58 **3/4 (74, 65, 84) Callis- Another win for Team IRON! These guys are a force to be reckoned with! Tenay- That's two TNA stars defeated...and next week, Erik Watts and partner take on the other two Team IRON stars... Callis- If he's out of the slammer by then. Tenay- He will be, don't you worry. Tenay is cut off, as Jim Cornette is now entering the ring, and taking a microphone. Cornette begins to talk about what he and Basham did to Barry Windham last week, costing him the NWA World Championship. He then says he has an explanation for Windham, and wants him to come to the ring so he can deliver it face to face. Windham limps out, and Cornette says the reason Basham did what he did because Windham stole Basham's shot by eliminating him from the Quest For The Gold Match. So essentially, it was some sort of payback. Cornette accuses Windham of 'crying the Basham blues'...when suddenly, Doug Basham rolls into the ring...and takes out Windham's bad knee. He pulls up Barry's jean leg, and takes off the knee brace as Cornette gets his kicks in...meanwhile, Basham takes Cornette's tennis racket, and drives it into the knee repeatedly. Referees have to run down and pull Basham and Cornette away, before getting medical attention for Windham. OR: 64 Tenay- Barry Windham got suckered in. Another cheap attack by Basham and Cornette! Callis- It seems Windham has got himself into some trouble that he doesn't want to be in. Tenay- Well, it seems to me that Cornette and Basham are suffering from serious sour grapes. Callis- Either way, Windham had better watch himself. Six Man Tag Team Match TE3 (Matt Morgan, Matt Cappotelli and John Hennigan) vs TNA Managment (Abyss, Joe Legend and Kevin Northcutt) Kept short thankfully. Not neccessarily a BAD match, but nothing great about it either. John and Matt were allowed to show off some nice tag team moves on Legend and then Northcutt, but then Abyss double chokeslammed them both to hell. Matt was isolated briefly, but got a tag to Matt Morgan, who came in like a house of fire. Taking out Legend and Northcutt, Morgan then tried to take down Abyss. The two behemoths battled...until suddenly, Raven ran down the ramp with a steel chair. Abyss ran to the ropes, and collided with Raven and the chair...allowing Morgan to nail a big boot, and throw Cappotelli onto Abyss with the Rocket Launcher...and get the 3 count!!! Raven then walked off, as Abyss heatedly stormed after him. Winners: TE3 by pinfall (Matt Cappotelli over Abyss) in 5:02 *1/4 (63, 56, 70) Tenay- Can you believe that!?! What an upset! Callis- What a crock. Raven shouldn't have got involved in the match...he WILL regret it. NWA:TNA X-Division Championship Paul London ©vs Ryan Sakoda w/Jimmy Yang This match was surprisingly great. London was his usually great self, but having to contend with Jimmy Yang's interference was too much for him, giving Sakoda the advantage in the match. However, after hitting a whole bunch of power based moves, Sakoda couldn't put London away. As London fought back into the match, Yang sprinted in to the try and help...but London quickly took Yang out, before dropsaulting off Sakoda and onto Yang spectacularly. London quickly hit a standing shooting star press...only for Chris Sabin to roll into the ring, and nail London with his own X-Division Title belt. The referee Brian Hebner called for the bell, awarding London the match. Sabin meanwhile wasn't finished, driving stomps across the back and head area. Quickly Sabin grabbed up the X-Division Title belt again...and SMASHED London across the side of the head, before leaving to heavy boos. Winner and still NWA X-Division Champion: Paul London by disqualification in 7:21 **1/4 (66, 50, 83) Notes: The NWA X title has gained in image. Tenay- What is it with tonight. First Basham and Cornette attack Windham again, then Raven costs Abyss a match, now this... Callis- Don't forget what Watts did to me! Tenay- Well, you had that coming. Callis- And London had that coming for stealing Chris Sabin's belt. Meanwhile, Jeff Jarrett is backstage with Scott Hudson...for an interview. He doesn't get too far before Jarrett cuts him off. The World Champion claims he's not afraid of AJ Styles, Ron Killings, losing his World Title or stepping into a fifteen foot steel cage. He then promises to destroy AJ tonight and shed his blood all over the mat, before retaining his title one more time, and finally throwing Styles to the scrapheap. Jarrett fakes to punch Hudson, laughing as he flinches before walking off. OR: 82% Raven vs Sonny Siaki Solid is the best word for this. A decent match, with a good deal of crowd heat. Raven brawled his way through the majority of what turned out to be a heated battle, Saiki unable to find an answer for it once Raven got into his stride. A standing dropkick eventually turned the tide of the match, but not for too long as Raven ultimately fought back. From there the match was pretty back and forth, until Saiki made the first mistake...missing a clothesline, and turning around into a boot and an Evenflow attempt. Saiki spun out, and went to hoist Raven onto his shoulders, Raven however floats over...and NAILS the Evenflow DDT, spiking Saiki down for the 3 count. As soon as the match is over, Abyss' music hits. Raven throws Saiki out of the ring, as Abyss slowly walks out, ready to fight. He rolls in, and a brawl ensues between the two men. Abyss seems to get the better of the brawl...until Raven counters a chokeslam with a lowblow...and hits the Evenflow on Abyss! Raven begins to walk off afterwards, his point being made... Winner: Raven by pinfall in 8:57 **1/2 (76, 77, 77) ...when suddenly, Callis jumps up from the announce table and grabs the microphone before Raven can leave. Calling Raven a 'cheap shot artist', Callis says that Raven won't be able to cheap shot Abyss at Nothing Left To Lose...because he'll be facing him one on one, man to man. And just to add a little interest, the match will be fought under 'Raven's Rules'. Or, in other words, it's Raven versus Abyss in a Clockwork Orange House Of Fun Match at Nothing Left To Lose! Raven nods, happy with the match. OR: 80 As Raven leaves, we get a shot of AJ Styles warming up backstage in his locker room, trying to get himself mentally and physically ready for the Cage Match. OR: 71 Tenay- The Cage Match still to come tonight...but Don, what were you thinking? Putting Abyss in Raven's speciality match. Callis- Abyss wants to prove himself, so he will. Tenay- But...in Raven's match...the Clockwork Orange House Of Fun Match. Callis- It's the ultimate humiliation Mike. And no more than he deserves. 'The Truth' Ron Killings vs Jimmy Yang w/Ryan Sakoda Another good match...although, still down on last week's top matches. The Kyo Dai numbers game played a part in this match as well, with Sakoda repaying Yang for his interference in his earlier match. However, the number one contender was on top form and manages to fight both men off...at one point, causing Yang to misjudge an asai moonsault and wipe out Sakoda. Yang got a couple of late nearfalls from a tiger and then a dragon suplex, but Killings was the man to end it, catching Yang from nowhere with the Truth Of Consequences to cement his place as number one contender. Winner: Ron Killings by pinfall in 6:39 **3/4 (73, 63, 83) Tenay- Ron Killings with a great win...further proving himself a worthy number one contender. Callis- Beating Yang is one thing. Beating the NWA Champion is a totally different story. Tenay- Well, who will that champion be on April 25th...Jeff Jarrett, or AJ Styles? ***MAIN EVENT*** NWA World Heavyweight Championship, Steel Cage Match 'The Chosen One' Jeff Jarrett © vs 'The Phenomenon' AJ Styles Well, another decent match...not as good as their match at Quest For The Gold, but still pretty good. The crowd were very much into it, helping the feel of the match. It didn't take long for the cage to come into effect, Styles being the first to taste the steel. Jarrett tried an early escape which took both men to the top rope...Jarrett driven into the cage top, causing him to fall. Styles then crossbodied onto Jarrett rather than trying an escape for some reason. A real brawl ensued and within the first 10 minutes, both men were bleeding heavily from trips to the cage. Styles hit the Styles Clash soon after, to an eruption from the crowd...only for Jarrett to shockingly kick out!!! Styles returned the favour moments later, kicking out from The Stroke to an equally loud pop. Both men climbed the cage on 20 minutes slowly, on opposite side Jarrett saw he was losing the race however, and just about managed to catch Styles going over...SUPERPLEXING HIM BACK IN!!!!! Both men were out for a good while, before Jarrett got an arm over...FOR 2!!! Jarrett slowly climbed the cage again as Styles followed after. A brawl ensued, both men nearly getting over...before Jarrett eventually backdropped Styles off the ropes, and escaped the cage to retain his title!!! Winner and still NWA World Champion: Jeff Jarrett via escape in 24:14 **3/4 (85, 90, 76) Notes: Jeff Jarrett gained overness from this feud ending. AJ Styles gained overness from this feud ending. The NWA World Heavyweight title has gained in image. Tenay- Jarrett did it! I don't believe it! Callis- Believe it Mike...you're seeing it. The greatest NWA Champion EVER! Tenay- Jeff Jarrett retains his title...and, I must give credit to him. But give credit too to AJ Styles for his effort. Callis- Yeah, yeah...JARRETT WINS!!! Tenay- Well, Jeff Jarrett retains the title...and he is going to Nothing Left To Lose. But what will happen next week on the final stop to Nothing Left To Lose? OR: 74- Another fine show. Not the same level of match quality as last week's show, but still a great effort. The main event was PPV level for sure...you wonder why that didn't happen at Quest For The Gold rather than on this show. Wins for the guys who needed them like Killings, Raven and Stryker...and another match for the PPV. It's still looking good for TNA, despite the XPlosion set-back. Attendance: 3504 T.V Rating : 2.92

And I hate to sound like a generic Smark, but it's all the WWE's fault. He ran away from Lesnar and his fat, balding GM friend on SD!, came to Raw, and was booked as little more than a nuisance to the HHH/HBK feud. I no longer care about Benoit's title chase. Oh, I agree with all that don't get me wrong. Which is why Benoit still isn't what Vince is looking for in a champ, which doesn't bode well for his chances of winning.
-
I hate to sound 'anti-Benoit', because I'm not. But, unfortunately, the pops on Raw for Benoit last week just don't warrant a World Title reign. He gets the odd Benoit chant now and then, and a decent enough upper mid/midcard level pop, but nowhere near World Title level. That's why I doubt this'll main event over Lesnar/GBerg, and I also doubt Benoit'll win the title unless people start taking to his out of ring stuff quickly.

Riiight. *slowly backs away from computer* *runs* *jumps into car and speeds off* -
Not sure why Dace suddenly started playing face in peril...I mean, he's Dace Fuckin' Night. But I'm glad you guys carried on this match so well. I enjoyed it. Course, I enjoyed the face's match too. Anywho...that's the best I've wrote IMO since the Tables Match with Helmsley, so I'm pleased enough. And hey, Z giving us praise = good stuff.

Post Event News Well, bad news to begin. After another poor rating XPlosion has been dropped by Urban American. MLW's show beat us out in the ratings again, and as a result Urban America decided to cut their losses. Although this is disappointing news, we do have TotalNonstop TV to 'fall back on'...and we will consider whever or not to look for a new network to host XPlosion in the coming days. All this means we now have only two shows left to build up to Nothing Left To Lose, rather than the planned four. This compromises us quite a bit, as we now need to chop and change Wednesday's TotalNonstop TV. Daniels and Rhodes didn’t really gel well, which wasn’t too surprising. Considering that, the two put on quite an impressive match… The Team IRON ‘invasion’ will continue on through the next couple of shows, with certain big TNA players set to play a big role in their development. We’re pleased with how the four have been coming along under the TNA banner recently.

King Cucaracha replied to Thoth's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
Well, my match will suck. I haven't played Mouse Trap in years, and the set I do have has about half a dozen pieces missing...so, I'm going to have to find some 'creative' from somewhere. Todd knows where from though. -
Good show, but Todd Damn ( , force of habit) about Jay. Hopefully Mark'll get a singles push as a result though.

Burchill = awesome for CZW. I'll certainly be reading.

NWA:TNA XPlosion 11th April 2004 Live from the TNA Asylum, in Nashville Tennessee Commentators: Scott Hudson and Don West PYRO~! greets us, as we're live in Nashville. Scott Hudson and Don West, aka 'The B Team' are at ringside...but first... We cut to Don Callis' office, where the Chief Executive sits looking rather impatient. After a few second, there's a knock at the door, as a backstage worker walks in with a letter in his hand. Worker- Mr Callis...the letter ha... Callis- Yeah yeah, great...hand it over and don't slam the door on your way out. Quickly the worker does as he's told, as Callis hurriedly opens the letter, throwing the envelope onto the floor in his rush. Callis- "Dear Mr Callis"...blah blah..."in light of your request to cancel Wednesday night's World Title Match between Jeff Jarrett and AJ Styles"...yadda yadda yadda..."we have to..." Callis looks in shock, as he gets closer to the paper incase of a mistake. Callis- "Deny your request!?!" DAMN IT!!! Reading on Callis is slowly turning red from his anger. Callis- "The contract was signed by Mr Erik Watts, and he has not been available to contact...therefore, we cannot cancel the match." Well, isn't that just typical. The one time you want Watts around, he's nowhere to be found. "Furthermore...we view this match as a fair way to pay AJ back for Jeff's illegal tactics at Quest For The Gold. Yours...Jerry Jarrett." This is typical...this is just...typical. Callis hurls the letter to the floor with the envelope, before sighing heavily and collapsing further back into his chair. OR: 85 Notes: Don Callis gained overness from this segment. Hudson- Welcome to NWA:TNA XPlosion...Scott Hudson at ringside with Don West...and Don, that settles it. Wednesday night we will see AJ Styles and Jeff Jarrett in a Steel Cage Match. West- It seems even Don Callis couldn't get this match scrapped...and now Jarrett has to pay the price for his cheating ways. Hudson- Speaking of paying the price...will Christopher Daniels pay the price tonight for his cockiness, when he meets Dusty Rhodes. West- And what about Abyss, Scott. He teams with Kid Kash to take on Paul London and the man he attacked Wednesday night...Raven! Hudson- All that tonight...plus, up first, the NWA debut of Nick Dinsmore! 'The IRON Man' Nick Dinsmore vs Shark Boy Not a good night to be wearing a shark costume...this was almost a total squash. Dinsmore came out with some high impact suplexes which Shark Boy had to answer to, and from then on, Dinsmore never looked back. A brutal Northern Lights Bomb nearly ended the match early, but Sharky managed to shoot a shoulder up at the last second. "NWA" chants filled the arena as Dinsmore worked over Sharky regardless, before finally Sharky Boy was spurred on to a comeback. That didn't last long however...Dinsmore countered a flying hurricanrana with a SNAP powerbomb, before locking on the Crossface. Shark Boy had no choice but to tap, and give the match to Dinsmore. After a brief celebration, Dinsmore saw Shark Boy making his way back up the ramp, and quickly left the ring. Sharky didn't see it coming...and got clotheslined from behind! Viciously Dinsmore stomped away on Sharky in the aisle, until referees finally stormed down to pull him away. Winner: Nick Dinsmore by submission in 4:28 *1/4 (62, 53, 72) Hudson- I think Dinsmore proved his point tonight...the NWA should be wary of Team IRON. West- Well, Dinsmore and his buddies have clear intentions. And Shark Boy became the first victim of them tonight. Hudson- And I must say, for someone to dominate Shark Boy that easily...that's impressive. West- It is indeed Scott. Hudson- Well, in just a few moments...the past meets the present, as Dusty Rhodes takes on Christopher Daniels. 'The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels vs 'The American Dream' Dusty Rhodes Well, to say this match featured a contract in styles would be a pretty big understatement. Dusty, who was never in great shape as far as looks went, did well to last through the whole match...Daniels doing a good job of pulling him through. It was Dusty who dominated the opening, using the bionic elbows to rock Daniels at every opportunity. Daniels tried in vain to out-wrestle Rhodes...the result each time was eventually a big elbow driven to the head. Eventually Daniels managed to take Dusty down, and worked over the knee and ankle. To his credit, Dusty did a good job of selling it. The fight back came, and Dusty began to brawl back to prominence. Referee Brian Hebner caught a clothesline however, which prevented Dusty from getting a three after a big elbow drop. Dusty missed an avalanche minutes later, staggering back into something resembling a german suplex...giving Daniels the 3 count!! Once Dusty got back to his feet, out of respect he offered his hand to Daniels...but Daniels tried to leave. Dusty quickly pulled him back, and again offered his hand for shaking. However, Daniels laughed at the exhausted Dusty...and spat at his feet, before leaving the ring to huge boos from the crowd. Winner: Christopher Daniels by pinfall in 13:22 *1/2 (73, 76, 68) Hudson- What dis-respect from Christopher Daniels! What dis-respect for a legend like Dusty Rhodes! West- I have to agree Scott. After a great match, Chris Daniels just couldn’t accept Dusty’s respect. Backstage, the NWA Tag Team Champions Chris Harris and James Storm are backstage in their locker room watching Daniels leaving the ring on their T.V monitor. Storm turns to Harris, and shakes his head. Storm- Some things never change with that guy. Harris- Tell me about it…once a jerk, always a jerk. Storm- So, can you tell me now…what did Callis say? Harris- Well…that’s the weird thing. He said we don’t have matches until Nothing Left To Lose. And…he won’t announce our challengers. Storm- What? Harris- Yeah. Basically, he’s washed his hands of it. We’ve got to chose who to defend the belts against at Nothing Left To Lose. Storm looks at his belt, and shrugs his shoulders. Storm- Fine by me. It’s not like we’re afraid of a challenge. Harris- So…any ideas? Storm looks thoughtful…as the scene fades. OR: 65% ***MAIN EVENT*** Tag Team Match Kid Kash and Abyss vs Raven and NWA X-Division Champ Paul London A very nice match, with some nice exchanges from London and Kash in particular. They spent most of the match in the ring, London predictably playing Ricky Morton through the match. Abyss and Kash used some fluid tag team moves to keep London on the defensive, limiting him to spurts of brief offence. Once London got the tag, the crowd picked up as Raven came in and cleared house. Raven and Abyss brawled, as Kash and London exchanged moves in the ring. London dropsaulted off of Abyss onto Kash for a nearfall, before Abyss threw London out of the ring. Raven attacked Abyss though, and started up a ten punch. However, as the referee tried to keep London out of the ring, Kash dropped Raven across the top rope...allowing Abyss to hit the Black Hole to get the 3 count over Raven! Winners: Abyss and Kid Kash by pinfall in 14:04 **3/4 (75, 68, 82) Notes: Kid Kash gained overness from this match. Abyss gained overness from this match. Hudson- Abyss and Kid Kash stole that victory from right under Raven and London's noses! West- That won’t sit well with Raven, believe me. Hudson- Well, Abyss gets another one over Raven…how much longer will Raven sit back and take this? We’ll see you on Wednesday night for TotalNonstop TV. Goodbye from XPlosion! OR: 72- Decent show, surprisingly. The first two matches weren’t brilliant, the main event was good however. Whever it’ll be enough to fight of the MLW is yet to be seen. Attendance: 3502 T.V Rating : 0.01

Maybe by trying to keep Los Guerreros together, he was secretly leaving Eddie open for Chavo's attacks...therefore splitting up the best tag team in the business, so that the WGTT could get a clear-run to the belts... ...leading to a Team Angle reformation. ...so, yeah, let's forget January.

You do realise that Aidan Redmond is Kibagami, right? I'm resigned to the fact that if he writes, I've lost. Which leads me to consider that i should write something REALLY stupid since in the case of a no-show I get the nod. Ok, I didn't know that. Well, nice knowing you kid.

MAIN EVENT TAG TEAM MATCH Dace Night, Ann "Ichiban" Onita and Charlie "Grappler" Matthews vs Todd Royal, Landon "La Cucaracha" Maddix and Va'aiga Usually I wouldn't predict, but is my only reaction. HARDCORE TITLE MATCH John Duran© vs Aecas Aecas is hardcooorrreee...but I can't go against my Unnamed compadré SINGLES MATCH Mike Van Siclen vs ??? The rule of the ??? prevails again. TWO FALLS MATCH, TRIPLE THREAT USJL TITLE/ICTV #1 CONTENDERSHIP Sacred© vs "Coyote" Coy West vs Janus Sacred to win by a hair's breath. SINGLES MATCH Johnny Dangerous vs Alan Clark Just a hope, being Clark's biggest fan and everything. SINGLES MATCH Aidan Redmond vs Toxxic Toxxic's been one of the few new guys who's been any good for the past few months. Aidan might prove us wrong, but Toxxic is the safe bet. SINGLES MATCH Jake Helmsley vs Insane Luchadore Special Guest Commentator: "Hollywood" Spike Jenkins Spike to write the match, and give IL the win, on a hunch.

Hey, you can't spell Tenay without T N A... My personal choice would be DDP, just because I dig him. And...everytime someone says new DOA, I keep getting visions of Brian Lee and his biker buddies which isn't good.

Post Event News We were all very pleased with how the show went...not only did we have the three wonderful matches, but everyone on the show put in 100%, which really pleased us. Team IRON's debut went down very well, which is good news because we have big plans for them. Despite the nature of their formation, the four seem to be a very natural unit...and run on the premise of all good four man stables. Obviously, it'll draw comparisons with the Horsemen in due time. There's the technically proficient leader Dinsmore (Flair), the underrated understudy Matt Stryker (Sting/Windham) and a tag team force to back them up (Ole and Arn/Malenko and Benoit). Here's hoping they're half as successful as the Horsemen were. After his recent superlative performances, Paul London will recieve a push up to the midcard. Since arriving in the NWA:TNA, London's been putting on consistently great performances, and raised the image of the X-Division title in the process. We're glad he chose to sign a written contract with us rather than work for multiple promotions...Paul felt it would be wrong to go back to ROH after his leaving, although he knew the opportunity was there. We hope to reward his loyalty as best as possible in the near future. The Daniels vs. Dusty match was originally planned for Nothing Left To Lose…however Daniels will be in Japan come March 25th so the match was re-arranged for XPlosion in an attempt to gain ratings against MLW. Instead of that match on the PPV, a tag team match to highlight the thriving division is planned.

Hiring Gertner for his manager would be a good idea, and put some 'raw' back into Raw...apart from the fact they'd have to censor Gertner slightly. Have Gertner and Sign Guy with them...then have them suddenly go extreme again. Beat the crap out of Matt and John from Tough Enough and totally destroy them...then the same to Dreamer and someone, to allow Dreamer to go down to OVW. RVD and Booker take exception to the new hell Duds, and a fued is born. At the very least it'd give them some interest to the general and more so to the ECW fans again.

NWA:TNA TotalNonstop TV 7th April 2004 Live from the TNA Asylum, in Nashville Tennessee Commentators: 'The Professor' Mike Tenay and 'NWA Chief Executive' Don Callis The new NWA video opening rolls, complete with the new theme "Slamin'" by Buckcherry, and it's sure as heck better produced than the last one. Into the arena we go, but not to pyro as the NWA Chief Executive Don Callis is already in the ring with Red Shirt Security beside him. The crowd's boos slowly die down, finally allowing Callis to talk. Callis- Welcome...to the primetime debut...of the NWA:TNA! The crowd cheer, as Callis smiles. Callis- Thank you. Just remember who to thank when tonight's over and done with. Now I could stand here and talk for hours about what an honor it is to bring to you TotalNonstop TV tonight...but, as I say many times, 'time is money'. Right now I have some business to take care of...and right now, I'd like to invite someone to the ring. Someone who I have something pretty important for...ladies and gentlemen, don't waste your applause on him, just sit and watch as I introduce...Erik Watts. The crowd cheer, as Watts walks to the ring anxiously...exchanging wary looks with Northcutt and Legend as he rolls in. Callis- Erik...thanks for coming out tonight on my new show. It's great to see you...you're looking great. Look at you. You're down to about...what...320, 330 pounds? You've got yourself a new second-hand suit. Watts snatches the microphone, as Callis raises his eyebrows and gets another mic. Watts- Listen Don...if you don't mind, I have a job to do, so make this short. Callis- Oh, Erik, that's just the thing. See, I've had a job to do. I've had jobs to do all week. And you know how tough it all is...trying to fit in all these tasks. I've got a few to do tonight. And, of course...one of them involves you. See...what I have here... Callis takes a piece of paper out his jacket pocket. Callis- Is for you. Now in the course of all my jobs over this past week, this little piece of paper had gotten lost amongst my 'to do file'. Here...let me... Watts goes to grab the paper, but Callis snatches it away. Callis- Now now Erik. You don't have to read it here...as I said, 'time is money'. So let give you a very brief jist of what it says. Basically...it says that your services as "TNA Chief of Staff" are no longer required. Now, in layman's terms, because I know you are one, that means Erik Watts...you're fired from your job as Chief of Staff. The crowd boo, as Watts is absolutely seething. Callis- Now, don't get too down-hearted Erik. After all...you've got a nice wrestling contract to settle back on. Only...not tonight. You're not in action, so I suggest you head backstage before I have to call for... Callis laughs and turns to Legend. Callis- ...'Security'. As Callis turns back, Watts suddenly flips him off, before angrily leaving the ring. Callis watches on trying to supress a smile, before leaving the ring and going over to the announce position. OR: 79 Notes: Erik Watts gained overness from this segment. Don Callis gained overness from this segment. Tenay- What the hell was that Don? Callis- Just business Mike...let's get on with the show. Tenay- Yeah...sure. Well, we're kicking things off with the Red Shirts facing The Amazing Red and Chris Divine. Callis- You know Mike, I've got a lot of tag teams to watch before Nothing Left To Lose...so, I'm hoping for an impressive performance from one of these teams. Tenay- I wonder which one. How are Legend and Northcutt doing, considering Legend eliminated Northcutt from the Quest For The Gold 10 days ago? Callis- Er...shut up Mike. Quit trying to cause tension. Tag Team Match Red Shirt Security (Legend and Kevin Northcutt) vs The Amazing Red and Chris Divine A decent match, that was let down a little by the crowd. Divine and Red are actually friends which added to the two men's teamwork. Legend, who has been so impressive recently, did the most of the work in this match, isolating Divine. No real tension between the Red Shirts considering what happened at Quest For The Gold. They dominated over Divine for the majority of the match, until he landed to the tag to Red, who was pretty damn over. He came in with the spot-fest offence and cleared the ring of both of the Red Shirts…before hitting a somersault plancha wiping out both. That popped the crowd. Back inside, Red and Divine teamed up on Northcutt, until Red and Northcutt both tumbled to the outside. Legend quickly rolled into the ring and nailed Divine from behind…before drilling him with the Godzilla Choke Bomb, for the cover and three count. Winners: Red Shirt Security by pinfall in 6:43 ** (66, 55, 78) Callis- Oh my, the Red Shirts win. What a surprise! Tenay- I must say, a very impressive victory for your Red Shirts…certainly staking their claims for the Tag Title shot. Callis- Well…I’ll have to ‘keep them in mind’… Tenay- I’m sure you will… Callis- Listen Mike, I could chat with you all day…but, I have a little more business to take care of…so… Don Callis suddenly leaves the announce position, and begins to enter the ring, taking a mic with him. Callis- Ladies and gentlemen…yes, it’s me again. The crowd boo, noticing Callis entering the ring. Callis- Tonight, I promised to unveil the latest NWA Championship belt…and award it to a man most deserving of it. A man who epitomises this belt. So…if you could pass me up the belt… Callis gets passed the belt from the timekeeper’s table…the Chief Exec holding it in the air. Callis- Right now, I’d like to introduce the first OFFICIAL NWA Hardcore Champion…’SIC’ VIC GRIIIMEEES!!! Vic Grimes slowly walks down the aisle, entering the ring and accepting the belt from Callis. He briefly raises it in the air, as Callis interrupts his celebration. Callis- This belt is for all of you twisted hardcore fans out there…who like nothing better than seeing two guys hit each other with frying pans and stuff. I knw you’re out there, I know you’re watching…which is why I, Don Callis, the People’s Chief Executive…have made this title active. Thank you very much. Having successfully stole the spotlight back, Callis leaves the ring, as Grimes begins to do the same. OR: 63 As he does, the scene cuts backstage, where a despondent looking AJ Styles is standing by with Scott Hudson. Hudson- AJ…I know you must still be unhappy at your loss to Jeff Jarrett 10 days ago. Seeing your quest for NWA World Title gold ended the way it was by Jeff Jarrett must have been crushing... Styles- Crushing? Well, to be honest, I'm not crushed. I'm not surprised in the slightest that Jeff Jarrett had to cheat to beat me, because that's Jeff Jarrett's way of doing things. You try and fight a fair match with him, and as soon he finds himself in trouble, he has to resort to unfair tactics. And the worst part about it is now that Erik Watts has been fired from his position as Chief of Staff, Don Callis, Jarrett's buddy, has got total power which means Jarrett can keep doing these sorts of things to retain his title. Hudson- So now, you find yourself out of the NWA World Title picture, what do yo... Styles- Oh no, no. I'm not out of the title picture, believe me. See Scott, Erik Watts got fired tonight. He didn't get fired 10 days ago. Hudson- What...what do you mean? Styles- Before Erik got fired, I saw him about what Jarrett did...and Erik luckily saw the brass knuckles. So, he got to work and made a match...a match for next week right here on TotalNonstop TV. AJ Styles versus Jeff Jarrett...one more time for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. The crowd cheer. Styles- But, it's not just any match. See, if Jeff Jarrett wants to cheat...then I'm going to fight fire with fire. And I'm going to do it within the rules. 'Cause our match next week...is a STEEL CAGE MATCH!!! The crowd erupt, as Styles smiles broadly. Styles- Jeff...I hope to hell you beat Barry Windham tonight...because I want to take your NWA World Title. But even if Windham takes your belt...I will get you inside that cage, and I promise you...you'll need all the tricks and all the weapons you can bring with you. Because this is about more than just the belt now. This is about beating you up, knocking you down, shedding your blood...and paying your ass back! Styles storms off, as we go back to ringside. OR: 84 Tenay- Can you believe that Don? AJ Styles and Jeff Jarrett in a Steel Cage Match...next week! Callis- ... Tenay- You're speechless aren't you. Well...I'll make the most of it...I'm sure it won't last for long. NWA:TNA X-Division Championship Paul London ©vs Jimmy Yang w/Ryan Sakoda A fantastic match...one of the best free-TV matches you'll see all month. Fastpaced, hard fought...and it had physcology too. The usual back and forth start and counter exhibition spilled to the outside, where London hit his always impressive Shooting Star Lariat on Yang...and Yang nailed an equally impressive Asai moonsault. Sakoda's interference finally swung the match, tripping London as he ran to the ropes, and allowing Yang to hit a DDT. The challenger looked to work over the neck from there, and did a pretty good job for a few minutes, until London hit a BIIIIIG backbodydrop to counter. Sakoda again interjected himself...this time getting knocked off the apron by Yang accidentally. London rallied back against Yang from there, and got several near-falls, before Yang nailed the most vicious kick this side of Tajiri...for a near fall! Another series of counters and counter-counters followed, until London managed to kip-up...straight into a hurricanrana! Quickly the X-Division Champ went to the top rope...kicked Sakoda off the apron...and hit the London Calling, for the one...two...and three count! Winner and still X-Division Champion: Paul London by pinfall in 8:54 **** (76, 53, 100) Notes: The NWA X title has gained in image. Tenay- Paul London with another impressive defence of his X-Division Championship! What a match. Callis- Tremendous Mike. That's what the NWA:TNA is all about! Tenay- It certainly is Don. Meanwhile, we go backstage...and RAVEN is here! Raven has arrived in the arena! Raven walks through the hallways... *SMACK!* Wait a minute! Abyss appears from nowhere, and smacks a chair over Raven's back! Raven goes down, as the big man stands over Raven breathing heavily...and brings the chair down across Raven's back again! Someone needs to stop this...Abyss nails another chair shot! Finally referees and officials came running over and try to pull Abyss away, as Raven lays out cold on the concrete floor. OR: 64% Notes: Raven lost overness from this segment. Tenay- What the hell Don Callis...what the hell was that? Callis- Don't ask me... Tenay- Don't ask you!?! You're Abyss' manager...that damn animalistic Abyss just destroyed Raven, and you don't know anything? Callis- Hey, I've been out here all night... Tenay- How convenient. Ron Killings and Sonny Saiki are up next...I just hope Raven is ok. Grudge Match Sonny Siaki vs 'The Truth' Ron Killings Another great match, only this time, a hot crowd to go with it. The new number one contender came out fired the hell up, which prompted a heated brawl to begin, until Saiki bailed. Killings followed and the brawl spilled to the outside...the railing, table and ring steps all getting involved in the battle too. Back inside, the match became a contest of high impact moves...Saiki winning out eventually after Killings got dropped throat first across the top rope. That gave Saiki the chance to dictate the pace of the match, and dictate he did, working Killings over for a long period of time. Eventually Saiki hit the Siakalypse Now...but Killings kicked out, to a big pop from the crowd! Killings slowly fought back...and as Saiki went for a running powerslam, Killings floated over the back. Saiki slowly turned around...and got nailed with the Truth Or Consequences for the cover...and the 3 count! Killings celebrated after the match...but it didn't last long, as suddenly Jeff Jarrett rolled into the ring...and SMASHED Killings across the back with a steel chair! Another shot connected, before Jarrett threw the chair out of the ring...and drilled Killings to the canvas with The Stroke. Boss filled the arena, as Jarrett left the ring, the damage having been done. Winner: Ron Killings by pinfall in 14:29 ***3/4 (83, 76, 90) Tenay- Jeff Jarrett...that's our World Heavyweight Champion...a cheating, cheap-shotting jerk! Callis- Hey! Let's not say things we can't take back here. Tenay- Jeff Jarrett couldn't beat Killings 11 days ago, he had to cheat to beat Styles 10 days ago...and now, here he is attacking Ron Killings from behind, totally unprovoked! Once the show comes back from another commercial break, 'The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels is stood in the ring, getting booed by the crowd. Daniels- The gospel according to Christopher Daniels states...that this...is the year 2004. A year of change in proffesional wrestling. The year the 'stars of the future' from last year finally stand up and make themselves noticed. The year that new stars become champions, and the old guard is slowly peetered out. Now...Dusty Rhodes... The crowd cheer at 'The American Dream''s name. Daniels- Where exactly do you fit in with the 'stars of the future'...apart from the fact you're holding us back. You don't. You instead fit in with those who need to be dumped on the scrap heap! Face facts Dusty...you're a legend. And you were a great champion. But this 2004...not 1984. At Quest For The Gold I did what needed to be done, and that's dump you out of the running for the World Title. Now, all that remains is to dump your fat ass out of wrestling for good! So... Suddenly, Dusty's music hits, and the crowd erupt! Slowly Dusty walks out onto the stage, soaking up the cheers for a while before glaring down at Daniels. Dusty- You know somethan Christopher Daniels...you have got a point. I aaam a legend! I aaam the old guard. And this iiiiis two thousaaand and four. But lemme tell ya somethan Christophaaa...I'm still breathan, and I'm still fightan...and I'm still da American Dream!!! Daniels- Well then, listen up 'American Dweeem'. I see what you're getting to...so let's cut to the chase. Saturday night on XPlosion...I'll have my wrestling gear on and ready to fight. If you have the guts, show up, step into that ring and face the future of this business one on one! The crowd cheer...starting up as Dusty chant, which brings a smile to Rhodes face. Dusty- You wanna go up against me? One on one, man to man...the 'Fallen Angel' and the 'America Dream'. The son of a plumber against da son of a bitch! The crowd pop, as Daniels is furious at Dusty. Dusty- Well...all I gots'ta say to that is...I'll see you on XPlosion. And me an' you are gonna get it on if you weeell!!! Dusty raises his arms in the air, the crowd cheering wildly as Daniels points up at him and informs him that he'll see him at XPlosion. OR: 76% Callis- Wow...what a match-up Mike! Tenay- The legend versus the upstart Saturday night...Dusty Rhodes and Christopher Daniels. I for one can't wait for that Don! Callis- I tell you, Christopher Daniels is a genius. If he manages to beat a guy like Dusty Rhodes, who let's face it is past his prime... Tenay- Well, yes, he is. Callis- ...if he can beat Dusty, suddenly he's in the title picture! But...that's for Saturday night. Tonight...you've guessed it Mike, I've got more business to attend to. Don Callis gets back in the ring, to more boos from the crowd. Callis- Never let it be said I'm not a man of opportunities...because right now, I'd like to introduce you to four men making their NWA:TNA debuts. Four men who I guarantee will revolutionise this company. Ladies and gentlemen...allow me to introduce...TEAM IRON!!! Some new music hits, as out walk four men familiar to some...the four men making up Team IRON. All four enter the ring, standing around Callis. Callis- Team IRON! The future of this company. Recently, NWA:TNA merged with Pro Wrestling Iron...and these men were the four stand-out athletes from that company. We have the former Ring Of Honor stand-out Matt Stryker. We have Donovan Morgan and Michael Modest...one of the most technically sound tag teams in the world today, who have taken both America and Japan by storm. And we have the leader of this foursome...Nick Dinsmore. A technical marvel. A man who the hacks in Stamford didn't think could 'cut it'. Well...these four can cut it...and they will, now that I've signed them to enhance the NWA:TNA. Suddenly Dinsmore takes the microphone, as Callis backs off and leaves the ring, giving the IRON foursome their time. Dinsmore- Don Callis...you've got it wrong my friend. We're not here to enhance the NWA:TNA. We're here...to dominate it, and to make it our own. You see, we wouldn't even have been here if certain people hadn't splashed their cash and thrown their weight around. But now we are here, we're determined to show the NWA:TNA just why we are reknowned throughout the world. You may be able to buy the PWI, and you may be able tp buy people out of thier contracts...but you'll never buy Team IRON! All you've succeeded in buying...is the TNA's own personal takeover...by us!!! As Dinsmore throws the mic out of the ring, the crowd boo the four newcomers whilst they leave the ring and walk to the back. OR: 82% Notes: Don Callis gained overness from this segment. Tenay- Team IRON making their intentions known...they want to overrun the NWA:TNA, which won't win them any friends. Callis- They've won me over. I like confidence and these guys are full of it. Tenay- They certainly sounded full of something. NWA Tag Team Championships America's Most Wanted (James Storm and Chris Harris)© vs Second City Saints (CM Punk and Colt Cabana) The NWA:TNA debut of Colt Cabana and about time too. The run of wonderful matches continued here with both teams putting on a fine display of tag team wrestling with the time allowed. Colt and Punk's teamwork was near seamless, while the AMW where as solid as ever...perhaps more so. Colt and Punk isolated Harris for the first half of the match, using a vast range of tag team moves to work 'The Wildcat' down. There was no hot tag surprisingly...instead, all hell simply broke loose. Colt and Punk hit Billy and Chuck's old finshing move, the powerbomb/top rope clothesline combo, but could only get a two as Harris broke the count. All four men then brawled in the ring...until Storm hit the Eight Second Ride on Cabana, whilst at the same time Harris drilled Punk with the Catatonic. Cabana was quickly grabbed, and together the AMW hit the Death Sentence, to get the three count and retain their titles. Winners and still NWA Tag Team Champions: America's Most Wanted by pinfall (Harris over Cabana) in 8:23 ***3/4 (77, 59, 95) Notes: The NWA Tag Team titles have gained in image. Tenay- Another fantastic match, and another victory for the America's Most Wanted. Callis- It's going to take a very good team to dethrone these two men, let me tell you Mike. Tenay- Well, up next it's main event time. Barry Windham is a former NWA World Champion...he wants the belt back around his waist, and in the process take the belt from the unworthy cha... Callis- Hey! Unworthy? Jarrett? Tenay- If it wasn't for a pair of brass knuckles, AJ Styles would probably be the champion right now. Callis- But, he's not, so get over it. ***MAIN EVENT*** NWA World Heavyweight Championship 'The Chosen One' Jeff Jarrett © vs Barry Windham Can you say 'old school'? That's what this match was. Nothing special, especially considering the matches that proceeded it, but it certainly wasn't too offensive. Windham unfortunately lost a step or two since the days of going hold for hold with 'Naitch'...and it showed. Windham's power took control early, as Jarrett was thrown about the ring until he retreated to the outside each time. Eventually he managed to catch a lucky chopblock to Windham's right knee, and never looked back, working the joint over furiously. To his credit Windham sold it very well on his comeback...before eventually getting locked in the figure four leglock. He fought and fought, crawling to the ropes to break which pleased the suitably hot crowd. Windham fought back with fists flying, before eventually getting sent out of the ring. Suddenly, over the barrier leapt Doug Basham...nailing Windham on the outside with a leg lariat! Basham rolled Windham back in, as Jarrett let go of referee Mark Johnson, and pulled Windham up...hitting The Stroke, and getting the pinfall victory! Jarrett quickly grabbed his title and left, as meanwhile in the ring Basham fired away with stomps on the fallen Windham. Jim Cornette eventually joined Basham in the ring, and joined in on the onslaught as Windham was left helpless. Basham and Cornette left satisfied, only for Windham to try and pull himself up...so Basham grabbed Cornette's tennis racket, and rolled back in. Windham finally got to his feet...and drilled Windham in the knee with the racket handle!! Viciously Basham repeated the blow...before swinging down with the metal rim right across the kneecap!!! The crowd booed wildly, as Basham finally walked out. Winner and still NWA World Champion: Jeff Jarrett by pinfall in 8:17 * (68, 70, 65) Tenay- We need some help for Barry Windham right now. His kneecap may have been crushed! Callis- Why did Doug Basham do this? Why would he destroy Barry Windham like this. Tenay- I don't know, but I'd imagine it had something with Jim Cornette. Callis- But still...why Barry? Tenay- Who knows. Hopefully we'll find out either next week...or Saturday night, when we hope you'll join us for XPlosion. We'll see you next week...for more TotalNonstop TV. OR: 73- Well...three matches ***3/4 or over on one show, on free TV no less. That probably more than the WWE will have over it's four primetime shows this or any week. This wasn't just a marvellous wrestling show though...Team IRON's debut, the opening segment and Dusty/Daniels were all great too. Add in a solid tag opener, some feud enhancement and a passable main event, plus other passable segments, and this is a major thumbs up. Styles/Jarrett to look forward too next week, as well as Daniels/Dusty on Saturday. Attendance: 3501 T.V Rating : 2.98

Gertner would be good if he could breathe some life into the DUDley Boyz again. CW Anderson would be a great signing...Mamaluke and Guido back together would be a mark out. Other than that, most guys who could be used well have already been signed and jobbed out.

I take it the Tag Title match is at From The Fire... -
Good show, pity the crowd let it down again. Signing Lynn was a good idea...bringing in an good combined interviewer and wrestler who's over would be another.

*prepares to play a very bruised, very bored, very genital less Ricky Morton* Oh, and Thoth's booking the next card...that should be...err... ...'fun'.
