Actually I disagree. There are 2 million WCW fans out there that just disappeared in 01 and they're rip for the picking. Wasn't Luger an upper mid to midcarder in WCW 01? I don't see how this can be good...his in ring work is bad, he has a bad public name...he's one of the few wrestlers around I would hate to watch a match featuring. I can put up with Batista, I can put up with Michael Shane...Luger is one of my very few hates.

Well, someone kind of answered my point about tarring all big men by the same brush. The people who say 'Oh, they're all basically the same' are obviously just hoss-haters, because they forget the big men who could wrestle. The guys like Vader, Hansen, Bam Bam, Mike Awesome. Surely they were (as Mullato said) "molded the same way from the same lumps of clay, so to speak" as the other hosses around at the time. So by his words, and many others around here, Vader and PN News are basically the same, because they're both big. It's like saying Jericho and Test can be tarred with the same bursh because they're both Canadians.

Um, not sure if you know this- but EVERYBODY in indy wrestling is petty and slams other promotions- IWA does it, ROH does it, CZW does it more than anybody. It's the way to get noticed in the indies now. With so many guys working in numerous promotions, ROH can't really claim fame by having Daniels on the roster, when he works over promotions. As there's so many wrestlers in numerous promotions, the wrestling styles are relatively similar. And some feds run in the same area as others. So taking pot-shots to get publicity is a way of getting noticed. As much as I tire of Wildside and it's employees taking shots like this article at ROH, and even the one at Jeff Jarrett(which was understandable, but at the same time petty and made Wildside look majorly bush league...it's a way to stand out.

Well, it's likely they'll go with Eddie-Chavo...or so I thought. And I admire you for having a different view...you'll probably get flamed to hell for it, but it's a nice change to see someone not bitching about this and that. Hopefully you're right.

Actually you're totally trying to twist this so you can be an anti-smark. I brought up the fact that because Owen's a good wrestler, if he fucks up, it's clearly an accident because we know he's good at his job. It's like working as a cashier for years and one night being short as opposed to someone who just got hired and is short on their second night. It doesn't look good because you look like you're incompetent from the get-go. So, Heidenreich's powerbomb slip-up wasn't an accident because he's not 'talented' or because he's new? Ah, my main problem. If the titles weren't defended on the T.V shows, then the T.V ratings would probably subsequentally drop, due to the matches becoming less important. Then, people wouldn't watch the T.V shows, so would have no motive to watch the PPV's. Not to mention the probability of the belt changing on a PPV goes up quite a bit in this era of shorter title reigns, meaning more predictable matches. Ok, bear with me with this... 1) IMO they need to start from the top. The McMahon stuff isn't working...Vince just needs to swallow his pride and tone things down...not totally, because Vince can be valuable if used correctly(i.e in order to help someone get over, like he did Austin...only on a lesser scale) 2) Realise the competition's strengths, and play to them. Attitude was inspired by ECW's style, and it worked. Vince needs to realise where his fans are going...they're not dissappearing. They're watching the ROHs. The NWA:TNAs. The MLWs. Places with an alternative style of wrestling...so do what's worked in the past, and steal from them. Give guys who ROH fans would like as champ the belt. Give Eddie the chance. Give Rey a push. Let Ultimo, Spanky, Yang, Jericho, RVD, London, Tajiri etc a chance to shine. 3) Lower down the impact of hosses, but don't fire all of them, just the lesser ones. Guys like Rosey, Show and A-Train can be valuable, and will seem much more impressive if they're one in a handful their size, rather than one of a bunch of 20 giants. 4) Focus on the new guys, but don't bring them up too soon. La Res came up too soon. The Bashams were given the wrong kind of entry, and it's hurt them. Orlandon Jordan hasn't had time to develop. And Heidenriech isn't doing anyone any good. Let guys stay in OVW till they're 100% ready, and have a reason to be there. 5) Build the new crop now. Orton and Cena are the next stars...slowly build them. Use the older guard to put them over, and I mean really over. Vince has to state his authority over guys like Taker and HHH. DON'T TURN CENA YET!!! Keep them as they are, without any career altering moves for a while, and let the fans get to know and enjoy them, before turning them if neccessary.

No no no no F'n NO! The moment they turn Cena heel, he'll flop. The character is built on the heelish rapper who insults towns and people. If he turns face, Cena'll be screwed. Austin managed to be a face while acting heelish...that was a fluke. Cena's screwed basically. Plus, this means A-Train'll probably be the 5th man on Team Hoss.

So, it's ok for D'Lo, Owen, Edge, Benoit and RVD to make mistakes and injure someone...because they're talented. But if someone like Mack, Orton or Heidenreich does it, damn them to hell. So, the moral of this story... As long as you're relatively talented, and have somewhat of a smark following, then go nuts...injure whoever the hell you like. I'm not saying Heidenreich's not at fault here, but come on...this is just another 'jump on the hate the hoss bandwagon' thread.

In my opinion, whever it's religion...this...the whole being a virgin movement...it's all cool, until they try and force their views on you. Believe what you want, just don't throw it in people's faces and act better than them to try and change them. That always pisses me off. As far as this goes, I'm not fun to be around drunk. Or rather, I am...but not for reasons I like. So I don't drink much anymore. Never smoked at all...never plan on smoking. Never had sex...not for the lack of trying . Being a 16 year old doesn't help with the first two...drinking especially. I've seen too many people I used to know and get on with go off the rails, both with drink and drugs...and suddenly now sex...and I don't want that to happen to me. Yeah, I've got some shit called 'osgood's shlatters' or something in my left knee...messed up my knee pretty bad. Worst thing is, the 'doc' said it'd be gone in 6 months. Year and a half later, and I still can't play soccer for more than about...ooh...10 minutes without it starting up again. I wear a knee brace for it sometimes...doesn't do a damn bit of difference though which is annoying. That sucks. I didn't have to take any time off from sports, but I did end up quitting track and basketball from a result of it. The knee brace doesn't help at all? Maybe it's just the wrong type. Ever gone to a knee specialist? Well, I'm gonna go back to the doctor once school starts up again...if I'm going to the doctor, might as well skip a day off school at the same time ...but eventually I'm gonna have to get it sorted out with a specialist methinks. Thing is, despite not being the most athletic of people (by a LONG way), I haven't stopped sports like I was supposed to. An hour of soccer a week doesn't help the problem I guess. And I don't need a specialist to tell me I'm not helping my knee by playing on.
