The TNA part is to differentiate itself from the other NWA, which would be NWA Wildside.

Actually, NWA-TNA COULD be eating into the buyrates of WWE... People could be buying NWA-TNA PPVs insted of shelling out the 40 or whatever amount of dollars it is for a WWE PPV.

With the rising popularity of NWA-TNA and the lately up-and-down ratings WWE has been expierencing, Vince McMahon has been becoming increasingly worried about the competition NWA-TNA could produce in the future. NWA-TNA which features many former WWE talent, that have found a home with different management has been producing live weekly PPV's for the past few months now, and have grown very popular in a short time. Right now, NWA-TNA can be considered WWE's main competition, and could possibly pose a threat to WWE in the future, much like WCW did. OK...well, we mostly know that the WWE will go with the WWE Championship belt if the Roster Split ends or if they re-unify the belts and have the floating champion return. However, what about if they do the same thing with Tag Team Title belts? Which Tag Titles should they go with...the newly made Raw version, or the Smackdown version of the belts?

Actually, now that I think about it, wearing the belt is optional. As long as it's a front shot.
