  1. Looking at old clips of Eddy... Anyone notice he had bushier hair back in the day. ...oh great...the Bronco Buster. Whoopty Fuck.
  2. At least he didn't win with the spear this time.
  3. Cool...Chavo comes out to the old school Guerrero theme!
  4. Before the East Coast showing of Smackdown starts, I wanna say something... HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALBERT!
  5. Nah...not enough gimmicked wrestlers for it to be 1993. Bring a Native American, a barber, a taxman, a model, a sumo wrestler... And that's just naming a few.
  6. Oh, thought of another kick finisher that could be somewhat considered a good move: The Ghetto Blaster!
  7. Here's someone who should bring back a different finisher: Booker T. The Scissors Kick isn't that great of a finisher, and the WWE wouldn't let him use the Book End unless the Rock were to depart permanently from WWE. That said, it's either bring back the Hangover, or make something new (name it the T Spot or something, dunno)
  8. I always liked team submission holds. I made up one in an E-Fed I'm in...one guy does a Camel Clutch, the other does a Sharpshooter at the same time.
  9. ...I miss-read that. I thought you typed "wants to Brian Lawler..."
  10. But is the third step even neccesary in a fight? I'm not saying it's necessary in a fight...but I'm saying that combo, if actually executed, could work to knock someone out.
  11. ....I hope that you're kidding... ...you're probably not though... *HOGAN TOUCH OF DEATH* ...that reminds me...as bad as people say Hogan's legdrop was as a finisher...you have to remember that the legdrop wasn't alone all the time. Usually the three punches and a big boot have it set up. I could believable believe that all 3 parts (the 3 punches, the big boot, and the legdrop) in that order could knock out someone.
  12. Actually, I have to slightly disagree with that. Any kick by Tajiri looks like it easily could K-O someone. As does the classic "Sweet Chin Music"
  13. Thing to think about though... As bad as some finishers are out there today...there have been A LOT worse... Outback Jack's double clothesline...as well as the dreaded "Garvin Stomp"
  14. Well, his new one is pretty dangerous looking...
  15. Well, I agree about Edge's. I miss when he did the Downward Spiral. Oh...and a move I will always miss until they let him bring it out again: The Vertibreaker! If there was a way for Hurricane to fight a shoot match and somehow get the Vertibreaker on HHH, I would cheer my f'n head off.
  16. Just to get off the nightmarish possible scenerios for this Sunday, I would like to talk about finishing manuevers in WWE today. Who do you think have good finishers...and who has bad ones? Hate HHH all you one, but the Pedigree is a legitamately dangerous finisher. The F5 is impressive looking, as is the Angle Slam. Kurt's version of the Ankle Lock isn't that great to me. too easy to get out of. I say Shamrock did it better when he did it. The Chokeslam, in my opinion, will never work as a finisher. Set up to a finisher, maybe. But not a final finisher. What do you people think?
  17. I don't believe these reports until I see them come true live. I just read things like this to see what people think might happen. Until it happens on camera, I don't believe anything.
  18. I really hope that this is a ruse by WWE to get the people thinking one thing will happen, then do a big switcheroo. I mean, didn't everyone think that HHH was gonna lose at WrestleMania 16 to either Rock or Foley? Wasn't it almost confirmed that Foley was gonna win the belt, then vacate it the next night? I rest my case.
  19. Smarks, I think it's time we united and give HGH's mistress a 1 for.
  20. Well, IIRC from the biography on A&E they had for Owen, they said that Owen was looking to retire early on in his career. So...probably by this time if he were still alive, Owen would be retired by now. Still, I get your point
  21. Heh...an Owen Hart super-mark. That's always a good thing to see. I bet you're upset (as am I) Owen never got a chance to be WWF Champion.
  22. <Dr. Evil>...riiiiiiiiiiiight....
  23. ...Invented Owen Hart or Blue Blazer?
  24. ChrisMWaters

    Oh...no

Awww, you don't want Ed McMahon to make an appearance on WWE TV? "YES NOW!"
  25. Nova didn't invent Superhero Wrestlers though. Owen Hart did that with the Blue Blazer
