  1. This may be off topic ... but I want a Willow action figure BAD. Toys R Us and Kay Bee do not offer such items.
  2. I loved 'Beer Bad', just for cavegirl Buffy... "Buffy...want...beer" (makes Willow-esque resolve face)
  3. I was actually lucky enough to get a copy off eBay about 3 years ago that I could swear is 1st generation. The quality is superb, probably the best I've seen in all the handhelds I've come across.
  4. I'd have to go with Moore but I'm liking Pierce a lot too. For the person that picks Dalton, they get smacked (Buffy referrence).
  5. It wasn't released; the WWE still likes to pretend that HBK / Bret was the first.
  6. Office Space Mallrats Go The Game (with Michael Douglas, not Triple H-uh)
  7. I completely forgot about "The Wish"...still trying to get that off Kazaa. "Hush" is one of the few I haven't seen.
  8. If I had to pick one singular show for a non-fan to watch, it would def be 'Passions'. Very...for lack of a better word, poetic. My other faves like 'The Gift' or 'Once More with Feeling' or even the more recent 'Conversations with Dead People', to appreciate the show you have to get the full jist of the backstory. 'Passions' can stand by itself as a great episode. I loved 'The Body' and caught it accidentally while flipping through channels tonight. The first half hour is tremendous. Once they get to the morgue it slows down a bit.
  9. I seriously considered doing the Randy Savage finger pointing spin during my high school graduation.

  11. I think Steiner has a lot of potential as a face, at least short term. I thought there would have been huge money in face Steiner against heel Goldberg (remember that 6 week run?) in a well-hyped PPV match.
  12. Speaking of theme music - every time I hear 'Real American' I want to beat up evil-doing foreigners.
  13. I actually attempted (notice the word 'attempted' instead of 'did') the Mr. Perfect gum spit / smack gimmick while walking back to my car after class today. Used to do it a lot years ago. In my religion class earlier tonight, the professor played a insanely boring chant thing on the CD player that lasted a good 15 minutes. Right when we all thought it was over ... a moment of silence and it starts right back up to our dismay. I completely marked out and thought "FALSE FINISH! FALSE FINISH!"
  14. eBay. That's where I got most of my 200+ commercial tapes. And they're cheap too - especially if you buy in bulk.
  15. Probably even less. It was low enough for Eric Bischoff to publically make fun of the paying attendance during an episode of Nitro around the same time. He said something to the effect of "We didn't hand out these tickets at 7-11" with Hall and Nash laughing their asses off in the background.
  16. I don't recall noticing that before.
  17. The only thing you'll have to worry about is quality. The other matches on the recording are Money Inc / Nasty Boys, Bigelow / Typhoon, and Taker / Papa Shango...but the Ironman is the only thing noteworthy.
  18. Yeah but the same rules don't apply. Joss has done very well with keeping people dead going all the way back to Ms. Calander in Season 2 and most recently as Tara. If he dies, he stays dead. But I don't think it will happen because he was basically put in a leadership position by the dying watcher seconds before the end of the show. ...But I do love the fact that the show is so good that everyone is on the edge of their seat waiting to see what happened. I'll agree with Season 2, it put the show on the map. 3 def had its moments. 4 was pretty boring; I hated Riley. 5 is much better but to understand it you have to start at the beginning - it makes the finale much more meaningful. Truth be told, I only started watching last fall but thanks to FX reruns and DVD I'm fairly certain I've seen every episode - save for perhaps a few from early last season.
  19. I just found out that the Thanksgiving Day marathon is going to be 14 hours long. Possibility of seeing Willow with the ultra sexy short curly hair = high.
  20. Probably ***1/2. The fact that they actually had a title change for an untelevised match at a TV taping and the fact that Bret Hart beat Ric Flair via submission pushes it to ****
  21. The Rougeaus match is also on an old Best of the WWF that I already have ... I'll probably pass on the DVD then.
  22. November 20, 1977 – World Champion Superstar Billy Graham defeated Stan Stasiak in the main event of a card held in Toronto’s Maple Leaf Gardens. The AWA title was also on the line when world champion Nick Bockwinkel met and defeated Edouard Carpentier. November 20, 1993 – Bret Hart defeats Shawn Michaels in a steel cage match in the main event of a card held at the Philadelphia Spectrum. The undercard features the Headshrinkers defeating SMW Tag Team Champions the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express in a non-title match, Lex Luger defeating Ludvig Borga, and the Steiners defeat Johnny Polo & Jacques Rougeau. November 20, 1994 – Bull Nakano finally wins the Women’s title from Alundra Blayze at the Tokyo Dome following a legdrop off the top rope. November 20, 1995 – Shawn Michaels collapses during a Monday Night Raw telecast held in Richmond, VA. After sending Owen Hart to the floor, Michaels drops to the mat with a number of emergency personel swarming the ring moments later. The injury angle put more heat on Michaels and helped build him up for his world title bout at WrestleMania XII.
  23. Although I didn't want a spoiler...you'll note I was the first to guess Slayers and maybe the first to guess Watchers (when they started whacking old people)...although I didn't want a spoiler. And like I've said and like other's have said...NO Killing GIles! Not unless it's the last or near last episode EVER! Sorry about that. When I came across the article I had a big "Ooooooooh!" moment, so thought I might pass the info along.
  24. Just wanted to let you guys know, in case you weren't aware, that Kazaa has a pretty good selection of old episodes. So far I've downloaded: Once More With Feeling Grave (season finale from May) Selfless (Anya's episode from a few weeks back) Smashed (Willow turns Amy back into a person) Graduation Day Part 1 & 2 Tabula Rasa (Tara breaks up with Willow, feat. Michelle Branch) Life Serial (the one with the mummy hand Buffy had to keep trying to sell) and Enemies (Faith tries to turn Angel heel) They're great quality but also about 400mb apiece, so keep that in mind.
  25. If Giles dies, then it should be in the last episode of the last season. Anything else is not cool. Very solid episode last night. I read an online article / interview with Tony Head a few days ago (sorry, no clue where it was) where the writer clarified that it was indeed watchers and potential slayers that were being killed. Tony said he's filmed 10 episodes thus far but it could always end up being more since they put the specifics on episodes as they go along. Notice how dying watcher told Giles to gather them up because it has begun? Giles can't die, he must lead slayers into war. When is Faith coming back? And will this season of Buffy have any bearing on Angel - ESPECIALLY since this may be the last season? I had heard rumors (no clue how credible) that many past characters would show up this season - of course all the villians that were used in the season premier but I believe Oz was mentioned as well. Don't quote me on it, it may just be wishfull thinking.
