  5. Foley - Yes, please Jeter - don't care but the natives would probably love it Letterman - I'd be interested to see how that would work out ... would they send Lawler on his hands and knees, pleading? "C'mon, you remember me ... I was that guy that smacked Kaufman on your show 20 years ago. PLEASE do it?" Conan - that would rule Woody Allen - WTF? Well ... he and Lawler have similar tastes in women (not the Asian thing, the age thing) Here's on for you. What about Trump? He and Vince are close and he even showed up at the MSG house show the day before the 2000 KOTR.
  6. Flair had matches with Hawk but none were in a cage to my knowledge. The Steiners vs. Money Inc match was great stuff.
  7. When did they have a cage match?
  8. I highly doubt it's the match from Detroit. My money is on it being the rematch from Chicago from Starrcade 87.
  9. I came across that post earlier on KM ... not too sure of if it's credible or not. Let's say there was a tag match pitting the Harts against Hogan & Savage (which is odd in itself) and that Savage no-showed. I still don't see Bret main eventing against the Hulkster. I'll post something on Wrestling Classics and see what I get.
  10. Yeah, I heard about that a while back. Don't know of any other specific matches he worked aside from the Savage / Steele one.
  11. There were several on-set interviews with Hogan prior to the KOTR. Both Beefcake and Jimmy Hart were included.

  13. Thanks for the note - much appreciated!
  14. Hey, I'm all for being wrong lol Thanks for the post - I didn't realize Nikolai came into the WWWF that early.
  15. That very well could be true. I just assumed that the illness immediately took him out of the ring rather than allowing him to work on a regular basis for the next 18 months, including a run against Hogan, a match on SNME, and a spot on the MSG show 2 weeks before the first WrestleMania.
  16. Actually, Jesse's illness didn't come into the picture until Spring 1986. The last match I have of his is a loss to Tito in Milwaukee during March of that year. I'm thinking that Jesse was simply a no-show for the previous matches.
  17. I believe they predated Nikolai by a few years.

  19. Considering it was free and took all of a few minutes to dl, I enjoyed it.
  20. *Has a flashback of the Bossman / Nailz nightstick match at Survivor Series 92* THIS IS GOING TO BE GREAT! </sarcasm>
  21. WWE (Raw) @ Tacoma, WA - Tacoma Dome - November 22, 2003 WWE (Raw) @ Yakima, WA - Sundome - November 23, 2003 (matinee) Those were the only two I came across. On a related note, Benoit is also challenging Brock on the 26th of this month in Albany, GA.
  22. It's specifically WWE related, not all of it can be considered old school, and how is it stupid? If you don't appreciate the history of the company, cool, but at least back up your statements.
  23. Thanks a lot, I appreciate it!
  24. That was my fault, it's been fixed.
  25. Very cool stuff. I encourage sneaking camcorders into house shows.
