When was David Amber the MMA guy? I remember him being on TSN but I don't remember anything about MMA, than again I was not that into it at the time he was around. When was he around anyway? I remember him leaving around 2002 or 03. Did ESPN really hire him to talk about MMA?

It's true though, even in the media heavyweights are given so much more clout. It doesn't matter about the fact that pound for pound they're generally the worst, people just want to see the biggest guys fight because they're heavyweights OMG~!

It's true. Many people that work for ESPN themselves have compared it to a "Toughman" competition and such, so I doubt they'd be so willing to fight the biases of the rest of the media. I was reading one article supporting a banning of MMA in Boston, and the ONLY two main facts surrounding why it should be banned had to do with how "No one has ever died in MMA, but many people have died in Amateur boxing and Toughman competitions" and "Last Week in the Ultimate Wrestling Association(Don't remember the name) a man who was 22 dove out of the ring and killed himself". It was the story of that spider guy in general wrestling that we all heard. So people dying in toughman comps and PRO FUCKING WRESTLING is a knock on MMA. Right. If you were wondering, the whole article was written that poorly.

Cro Cop vs. B level fighter has happened so many times, most of the LHW matches don't seem interesting except for Shogun's and Igor's fights, mainly because it will be a test for all four fighters involved. Most of the matches just don't excite me, the last Bushido card was way better imo, and I don't think it will come close to matching UFC 53 in terms of quality, which was my point to begin with.

Terrell was supposed to fight Chainsaw but got hurt, I think that fight would have been a better grappling match, but it doesn't matter since we probably won't see it.

Definitely. Go Van Arsdale. I have now heard GSP say that he will be fighting Trigg at that event, making it a match that I may be looking forward to more than either of these two. I love both guys so I will definitely be torn for that one. I hate Horn so Chuck better not drop the ball here. I guess all he has to do next is fight Rampage and be done with it. Interesting note; actually won a MMA radio contest on that MMAEvolution show, and they sent me the stuff late, aka not at all. So I emailed them, and I guess to make up for it they sent me a whole bunch of shit, one of which was the one DVD I was actually planning to buy, UFC 49. I was so happy, it's unbelievable. Anyways, I felt that Diaz/Parisyian, at least the first two rounds, was non stop action. Of course they slowed it down due to being tired, but still those guys provided the fans with a grappling clinic. There's lots of talk of Parysian(how do you spell it?) getting a shot for the WW Title once he beats Serra. But I don't know. I feel that if he was in a stalemate with Diaz, that Serra will be able to tool him, but we'll see. I didn't think Chuck/Vernon was as great as you did, it was a little sloppy. They went hard, but sloppy nonetheless. Provided a good line though "I'm not afraid of how hard Chuck hits, Ken hits me harder in the Den" Riiiiiiight. Couture's beatdown of Vitor was awesome if only for the white shorts being pink by the end. Great visual. Terrell KO'ing Matt Lindland was awesome too. Which is why his new bit for respect amuses me. Does he not remember why he didn't get a title shot? Because Dave Terrell Knocked him the fuck out? Or did we all just forget about that piece of history?
