I wondered why didn't they put him over at SS 93? He won, and they put so much into him, and they had a big celebration, but he didn't even get the title. I think to myself that normally the DQ ending is a bullshit one, but in this case they all celebrated and the crowd didn't know any better. Why didn't he ever get the title after that? I'm sure though that there are many on the board who might take this picture very seriously. I would venture to say yes. We're all sinners. That's kind of a given. Sin is a concept within a religious structure which I do not believe in. Just saying. The NFL is not about promoting parity, it's about making things fair. When every team has the same amount to spend, there are no unfair advantages. The game on the field should not be dictated by who has more money, but who is a better organized club. Every team has a chance in the NFL, because of this. Seasons are sixteen games because the NFL is a much tougher sport on a person's body than Baseball, which is also why there's only one game a week. This has nothing to do with the parity since a baseball season is essentially the same in terms of competition, except instead of playing a division rival twice they'll play them like ten, fifteen times. I don't understand how a shorter season leads to parity. I think you mean a team might get lucky for one game or something, but most of the time, the teams that are in the playoffs are better than the ones outside it, so I don't know what you're trying to argue there.

Shockey isn't garbage, he's had a couple of off-years due to injuries. He will be a force this year I think, people forget how good he was his rookie season. You guys are too quick to dump on a media favourite.

The whole PRIDE Middleweight GP series, PRIDE NYE that just happened, UFC 51 was really good as well, the DVD should be stellar showing matches that we missed. PRIDE Shockwave 2002 is good as well, and features the match that got me hooked on MMA, Bob Sapp vs. Antonio Minotauro Nogueira.

The cowboys wanted a trade for Bledsoe but apparently that fell through. I guess Bledsoe didn't want to be traded or the teams could never see eye to eye. As for the article, I don't know if he IS the next Favre, that's stretching it. But he does have a lot of potential. He has a great arm, great zip on the ball, and has that swagger you need to throw the ball in there. Favre posseses all of these qualities, but it's so much more complicated then that. There was a press conference at one today, more important than the NHL one obviously, regarding Drew Bledsoe being released, does anyone know of any info on this or anything?

So was Luger actually looked upon as a choker? I wasn't into WCW before like the late nineties since Canada was all about the WWF at that time. Did he ever become over in WCW? Or did he lose credibility along with never winning a title? I'm referring to pre-WWF days. Losman never looked like anything but a future big bust to me. He just doesn't seem to have the NFL mentality. In fact in his training camp diary thing I read last summer, he sounded like he had no clue about the NFL offense he was about to run. Though it'd be interesting if he proves me wrong. You can't judge a guy from what he writes in a fluff piece like a diary though. He's got a cannon of an arm and he has a great surrounding, it would be hard for him to fail. I'm pretty sure he's more mobile than Drew, but that can't be that hard.
