Lodune was at UFC 51 too, so that's a relief. Just out of curiousity, did anyone side with Bobby and Josh in this one? I have been reading over at Sherdog, and many of them have. They're not particularly bright though, so whatever. I think there's more hype for this fight than PRIDE 29. -
I agree with the owners if only because a salary cap makes up for all the teams that can't be competitive and keep up with the rest, like Edmonton or something. I know Calgary was one OT goal away from the Cup last year, but parity is what makes the NFL so great, knowing that there is a level playing field. I think that's one of the reasons why the NFL is so popular. But whatever, I already know how most hockey/baseball fans feel about the cap, so let's not bring THAT up again.

Well it's been reported that Bledsoe will be cut by the beginning of March. Before the deadline. Good riddance. There will be a lot of growing pains this season, but J.P. Losman has a great stituation to get into. Great defense, great RB, two really good receivers, with different games that compliment each other. If Losman is better than Bledsoe, at all, this will be a BIG season for the Bills.

I thought he and HHH were heels and he was turning face to take him out, which doesn't make sense with JBL being a heel but whatever. I haven't watched a full episode of RAW in forever, so I got no clue. -

Hey, remember when everyone's excuse for the general who said something stupid about having fun shooting Afghanis (I think that was the term he used)? "Well, I've never been in that situation." I wonder why that logic doesn't apply now? -

Speaking of the Batista turn, being how I waited for TUF I had to catch the end of Raw, it was might suspicious for there to be a pile of garbage in the EXACT place where they fell. But hey, probably just a coincidence. It just looked funny is all, combined with Batista's reaction once he got up. For a big man who looks angry he doesn't have a very angry voice. But enough of that. -

Southworth was talking shit about Randy after the fact. He didn't say anything when Randy was talking him down in front of his face. That can be next NEXT week's fight. -
Does anyone know how their training for this fight sort of coincides with their tv show? When were the eps for the show taped?

KosCheck was at UFC 51 and Leben wasn't....DOES THIS MEAN ANYTHING?!?!? I'm so roooting for Leben. This is perfect booking. Vince should be watching with a pen and paper, seriously. I hated him at first, now I want the little bastard to go all the way. If he does lose, he needs the proverbial "best friend who cleans house and avenges his loss" character...enter Nate F'n Quarry. Next week will definitely be the best episode of probably the entire series, other than the actual final card that has all the fights on it. They're just gonna spend the whole show hyping the fight. -

I really didn't get it, because I didn't know who Candlebox was. Needless to say, I was surprised when I looked for it. The posting of the picture was more or less closure for me. Carry on. -

Who are the top 10 in these weight divisions

Heh, Tim Sylvia is nowhere to be found. I was thinking of making a thread about the top ten Heavyweights, mine would have been shocking to say the least, since this was before the Arlovski fight, and neither Mir OR Sylvia were on it. That, and Barnett was number two. -

Enson Inoue is crazy, but funny. -
The Grammies literally have NO credibility in music. People actually take the oscars somewhat seriously.

Loveless is also my favourite, but I haven't heard Aquemini yet. -
I wanted to ask you about politics, because I'd assume your view on things would be vastly different than most on the board, so I'll just go ahead and ask who you think is the worst poster on the board?

What did you have to worry about the cops? Did they have something to do with the party? Are you gay? -
If someone supports Palestine in that whole situation, are they automatically anti-semite?

Almeida was in PRIDE at the end of his career though, and in UFC as well, so I wouldn't call him a Pancrase fighter strictly. He was great, before he retired early of course. Well thanks for clearing up what I thought pretty much; that the UFC and PRIDE have the best fighters 170 and up, for the most part. Rage in the Cage over in Britain has some good fighters too, of course they get snatched up by the big two whenever they start to get a run. Jason Miller is actually gonna be fighting at the next UFC, against Rich Franklin. That's the problem with the UFC; they take promising fighters, and throw them in tough first fights. When Riggs was originally supposed to fight Murray, I doubt anyone gave him a chance, since most didn't know who he was. Now, it's a different story and that match could get some great hype due to the popularity of both fighters. I actually would pick Riggs to win since he seems to be the more well-rounded fighter of the two. Speaking of Franklin, I'd like to see him fight at 205 since that division is pretty shallow at this point, but I guess they feel that Chuck and Randy are too talented for him, or something. I think that it's less of a case as the guys at 205 having more talent than them just being more established. Evan Tanner and David Terrell are two of the most well-rounded fighters period, but you wouldn't know it from the way the UFC markets them.
