So what are you saying?

I agree 100% there is no reason to keep harping on Cash's death. Everything that should have been said has already been said. I'm surprised no one made a comment about that one.

If you say so, I don't know how to tell you otherwise, I'd have to listen to it again. But what about Wilco hmm? What makes it so GREAT(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)? -

I think I remember EL-P now. I don't know if you visit Pitchfork at all, but I'm pretty sure he gave an interview there. I haven't had a hip hop record top my list (if I were to make one every year), since Mos Def released Blacker On Both Sides like four years ago. You familiar with that one? All sound and fury? That's why I like it -

I can't say I've heard the EL-P album, since I'm pretty much only familiar with the more popular indie music, which is sort of like an oxymoron I guess. As such, I HAVE heard the Wilco album, and while I think it's pretty good, I don't think it's the best album of the year. I always wondered why, as it didn't really seem to have that extra quality. It was really good, not great. I now remember Kinetic praising this one to death, probably on a boat, and I've always wanted an explanation. As for mine, I'd say Source Tags and Codes, as it was sort of like a throwback to the early nineties true alternative stuff, except it was for my generation and therefore was cooler to me. Great production along with great hooks. Too bad it didn't get much attention though. Even I only fell in love with it earlier this year, but yeah, greatness for sure. I haven't listened to any new music in a while, what the hell is out there in 2003? The only album I remember buying is...well, I really don't. -

No joke. I did it, now I feel like Carson Daly. The Carson Daly joke has gone over my head. -

Two things: 1) Your credibility was scarred after the lie about the boating incident. 2) The joke about fingernails totally went over my head. -

KINETIC~! Your expertise on the subject of music is appreciated. What was your favourite album of 2002 and why? Same goes for 2003. Oh, and uhh, Choken One sucks. That's it. -

So does this "Choken One" have any chance of filling the void? -

I think the better question is; how many MORE men would get prostate cancer?

Emphasis should not be on TO, but I feel that it would be most effective to put the emphasis on ANYTHING. But than it looks awkward, so YOU is the best choice in that sentence. Personally, I would have rewritten it as "I have NOTHING to argue with you about." Oh yeah, dig it.

Vader passed away? Maybe, but..
Your Paragon of Virtue replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
That's what I meant before. The person who wrote this probably thinks Japanese and Chinese people are one and the same. Investigative Inspector also sounds a tad redundant. Ah well, it's fake nothing to see here.... -

I'm pretty sure it's not true. "Inspecting Investigator Cheng" pretty much gives that away. I also think that you guys should hold on the "he deserved his death since he abused his body with drugs". Vader never really had that reputation. Probably drank tons of beer, but who doesn't? He doesn't really look like the kind of guy who would be using steroids either. So yeah, this isn't true. -
Hey, I heard something on ESPN where Dusty Baker made some racial comments or something. Anyone have the exact quote, and can tell me why he said whatever it was that he did?

I liked it, but I felt the delivery of the characters seemed too rigid, as if the show was being cast with bad actors. Also, some of the jokes (most notably Nitz' friends individual quirks) got tired in season one, so I would wager that a second season would just be *bad*. Clone High is much better in my opinion, since the novelty of the famous characters in history isn't as much the focus as they have all developed their own little niche. In other words, it would be just as good if they were regular people. Anyone know what the situation is on this show? I thought they cancelled it as well....

Oh, my bad, I thought you were going for a meaning of life thing. I pretty much agree with Popick in the sense that you take your pick, and I've made mine. I think it's impossible to prove either case. Even if science is constantly evolving, I still believe that this will never be solved and that people will be forced to leave their decision up to faith. After all, I doubt science will ever prove that there IS a God.

Can't the idea of there being no God be just as easily discredited? It just seems to me personally that there seems to be more of a chance of God existing than for no God to exist at all, so that's what I believe, in addition to Jesus Christ and what my feelings are on that. Until it's actually proven that there is no God, I will stick with the argument of there being a higher power. I'm also waiting for Marney to respond to my last post As for GTD, I don't think anyone can find out the reason as to why any of us exist at all.

Tom, I think that he simply wanted to help kids on the street that had been living a pretty crappy life. Some feel that rehabilitating someone else' life is much more rewarding than any significant amount of money. Whether he did that or not I don't know, but that's just my quick explanation. I guess it just comes down to the fact that people have different priorities.
