My apologies, I had you confused with that heathen Aerosault. -

While Banky is really annoying at times, when he turns off that "Bankywood" mode and goes into a posting mode, he can be an intelligent guy. After all, not many people in the music folder dig the Pixies, so he should stay. Especially after Inc and Kinetic left. I know about Kinetic, but where's Inc gone off to? Edwin rarely stops by too, leading me to believe that the Music Folder has gone to hell. As for you Eagan, I don't know if you're serious, but I recall you not even recognizing who TUPAC FUCKING SHAKUR was. Than, you had the balls to say "Thanks for giving me a tip on who to avoid". Sure, you probably don't remember, and I don't know why I do, but regardless, anyone who likes Aerosmith yet can say rap isn't real music can leave the board. No problems here. -

UFC 43 - What the fighters are being paid

I thought Lindland was like a fairly big name, how would he agree to fight for $17 000? -
UFC 43 - What the fighters are being paid
Your Paragon of Virtue replied to a topic in General Wrestling
So if Rizzo wins (and he will), he's basically getting paid about $215 000??? I'd like to say that this is the reason they get their ass handed to them as far as monetary success is concerned, but than I wouldn't be surprised if Pride pulls the same shit.... -
Woman sues for the "right" to take her license
Your Paragon of Virtue replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in Current Events
How does the fact that she's a convert change your minds at all? I don't think it means that much in the grand scheme of things... I'm normally the first one to defend Muslims when they're being shit on, but this woman really is an idiot and should be PUNISHED for even trying to waste people's time with a case like this. -

How do those betting odds work, is it something like If I bet $1100, on the Fedor fight for Fedor, I'd get my money back plus another $100?

Never heard of this movie, odds are I won't watch it, but from your relatively glowing reviews it doesn't sound like one of the worst movies of the year...

I wanted a complete list of all the champs, which is self-explanatory, but more specifically I wanted to know how Noguiera obtained it. His match with Coleman was a Number One Contender bout at "Beasts From The East" right? But than I'm pretty sure Miniotauro won the belt by defeating TCH at Championship Chaos, which doesn't make sense to me because Heath lost a fight to Mark Kerr a couple of PPVs before, so why would he get a title shot in between? Or am I missing something here? Was the belt only handed out at that specific PPV, or was it just vacant at that point? If you can answer these questions, it would be appreciated, and if it really does have a history before than, a website listing all the champs would be great. Thanks in advance...

Admittedly, all I've seen of him are his fights against those unprepared fighters, Shamrock, and Sakuraba, the latter being a damned good fight. His style of just choking people out has always seemed boring to me personally though. I understand what you're saying about teaching those terrible "fighters" how to fight, but regardless, strength of competition is a big factor.

Pride Heavyweight Championship

I'd call Yvel a black eye to the sport if he was worth shit. Fedor's stated in interviews that he never believes he's going to win, nor does he ever feel as if he's in any danger, regardless of his opponent or lack of training. He's simply a machine, and when you manhandle a hoss in Herring and shrug off a submission expert in Minotauro, it's clear that you're on the road to something special. I think if fighting Yvel would be entertaining, if only to see him beat the crap out of him, and thereby shutting him up. What did Frye say? Funny to laugh at or with him? -
I saw it for free on Directv one time(I would never pay for that shit), and it was annoying to see Ken Shamrock both in and out of the ring. All he ever does is go on about how great he is, but than he sucks in the ring making himself look like an idiot. Even if you're a Gracie mark, can't you admit that the man wouldn't be nearly as much of a legend if the fighters during his time weren't so terrible and unprepared? He's boring to boot.

No to every killing question, but I would die for another person. Maybe for my country, if I truly felt strong enough to believe in the cause, but even though I agreed with the War in Iraq, it doesn't mean that I'd volunteer to go and fight. I'd only fight if it were something where a very gross injustice was being suffered, for instance the Holocaust in World War II. But than, I'm not dying for my country as much as I am for the sake of humanity, so no to dying for my country. I can't think of ever feeling the need to die for your religion, specific example? As it stands, no. Killing is taking away human life, which is precious and if you think it's easy, just imagine being wiped away from existence. Now think of doing that to another person. You realise how hard it is, so to recap, I would never kill anyone unless it was for the greater good, ditto for dying.

I suppose you're right, but I still have a feeling that there are plenty of people here who still believe the myth that "Ken Shamrock is the greatest 'extreme fighter' ever!" Poor, misguided souls. Might as well put it in here; is King of the Cage another Toughman ripoff? In other words, is it as shitty as it looks?
-
In his PPV he talks so much shit about Gracie, as in he got the best of him and he "choked out that son of a bitch" and ruined his career. Of course, he's never beaten him once, but what else would you expect from a guy with no class like Shamrock? By the way, I sure as hell didn't order that PPV, because even in my "mark" days I knew better than to pay for a "glorious look at Shamrock's career". Couldn't we just contain all this crap together, and post this in DH's thread?

Pride Heavyweight Championship
Your Paragon of Virtue replied to Your Paragon of Virtue's topic in General Wrestling
I could have sworn that Heath lost before the Noguiera fight, my bad. yeah, it was a Number One Contendership match, much like a number one ranking I guess. It was funny because throughout the PPV they kept talking about Coleman and how he'd win, etc., which is why I was pretty happy to see Minotauro win, because they don't say you have the best ground game in the world for nothing. Similar case was when they hyped Heath to all hell in his Fedor fight, only to see him get manhandled. They kept talking about how impressive it was for Fedor to throw around 254 lbs, but Heath doesn't look very big to me, pretty spread out. I'd have said that Fedor has the weight advantage over Heath anyway, because he has that short compact build. I still like TCH though, and hope to see him back in the title hunt soon enough. Speaking of the same show, am I the only one who thinks Gilbert Yvel is the biggest bitch in the world? They don't call it MIXED martial arts for nothing, I would play to his weaknesses too, if only to see him whine after the match about his opponent was being a "coward". *Looks at the site* Yeah, I thought they only instituted the Title at that PPV. Pride's heavyweight division is so much more stacked than the UFC's it's not even funny. What's next for Fedor, and I'm not talking about the next PPV because he will blow right through that, it will be a slaughter. Guy's name escapes me at this point. I'm particularly looking forward to the Coleman-Frye rematch, about two years in the making. -
What's the point? I never understood the concept of blazing, it just never appealed to me I guess. I gave in to peer pressure during one of the many sessions, where I before had only ben a spectator, and after about a week I started to just feel slower mentally, so I stopped. Of course, it might have been psychological, and I might have just been afraid, but still, it would have happened eventually. The "high" feeling isn't all that great either, but than again, it is just my opinion. So yeah, why do you purposely fuck up your body? Just curious.

I was gonna say the same thing, he's just a guy that felons can relate to. Go figure.

If AoO was talking to me, no I have never heard of Nile, what songs would you recommend d/l? I think the quintessential classical-sounding metal band is In Flames, but that could just be me.
