Marvin, you're acting like the season would be completely turned around if KYLE BOLLER was the starter. That's like saying you would be a lot better if you had hair. The rest of your life will still be just as bad as it was before.

Cocaine is a pretty bad option. It's really expensive, will keep you wired for maybe an hour at most, and you feel horrible right after and will need more. Speed is like ten bucks a pill, and will last for hours and hours. I don't recommend either of these options by the way, especially if you have to keep up with this schedule on a regular basis. Not even the caffeine options. I'd suggest either adapting to it, or finding a new schedule, because if you have to depend on some kind of drug to get through it, you're only fucking yourself in the future. I guess coffee is not that bad, but it's still worse then doing it au natural.

Expand on the part about communism. I agree about your other statement though. "It could be worse" is never valid for anything. -
I just finished my second all-nighter in three days. This essay is pretty kickass, so I guess it was worth it. But I still feel pretty shitty right now. I just drank coffee and tea.

If you're from Philly, otherwise them losing the NFC Championship game is old hat.

Calzaghe defeated Kessler by decision. I didn't see the fight myself.

It doesn't matter who did it. When the Cowboys and 49ers combined for four titles in the mid 90s, people still pointed out how dominant the NFC was. It's amazing to think that the Bills could just as easily be 6-2 right now. They don't seem that good at all, considering their losses to Pitts and NE, but still. Injuries galore really hurt them as they were young and inexperienced to begin with. But I'm still really interested in seeing what happens with this whole QB situation.

Steely Dan? I don't know much about them, but what I know, I don't like.
-
Something I forgot to mention; the dominance remark was more about the AFC winning the last few super bowls than just an analysis of how things are going this year. I think they have six of the last seven.

No, close games like this are about talent too. It's not like Mike Shanahan is the one responsible for all those Fourth Quarter Elway drives, or Dan Reeves before that.

I don't think so, YPOV. Most, if not many people believe that Moss screwed over the Raiders by "doggin' it" his couple years in Oakland, then playing hard once he got to New England. The same could probably be said for his demanding a trade out of Minnesota as well, leading some to believe that the only way he'd be satisfied is by playing for a contender and being a featured receiver (he was reportedly very unhappy with Jerry Porter on the Raiders, and may have pretty much killed his career by demanding to be better featured in their offense). That said, Moss is nowhere near a character issue on the level of a Terrell Owens, but everyone remembers a lot of antics like him getting into his shouting matches with his quarterbacks, or walking off the field with 30 seconds left in a game against the Redskins, and all that. I don't think that was a big deal, the Redskins thing. The next week he spanked GB in Lambeau, and mooned them to boot. Brett Favre wanting to play with Moss and bitching when they didn't land him publicly tells me all I need to know about Moss' character. The guy hasn't been a problem at all this year, and would you really blame him for what happened in Oakland? That whole situation was a mess, he's hardly at fault. Call it dogging it if you want, it's hard to play well when Aaron Brooks is throwing you the ball.

The Titans? I'd pick them over the Jags at this point. How does Indy not cut it as a dominant team? I know you hate the AFC because everybody always talks about how dominant it is over the NFC (Rightfully so), but I don't understand that comment. I love the Pats right now, and this is the first time I've liked them in a while. I will root against them most of the time, but I respect the hell out of them NCM; how did Moss screw over his former team? Are you bitching for the sake of bitching?
-
As if you couldn't get any worse. Manning is a choker with a super bowl ring while Welker the rookie who is surrounded by ungodly talent is clutch? Please leave. I hope the Pats go undefeated. They beat the two undefeated teams on the road, which hasn't really been mentioned. That's very impressive. I'd like for this team to be the "best team ever" label as opposed to those fucking dolphins, who most acknowledge aren't the best but their undefeated record is a pretty nice trump card.

Moss actually should have gotten an OFF PI call that went unnoticed. There was a pushoff here and there.
-
Uhh even Samuel didn't complain when he got that PI call. The other one was bad, but guess what, sometimes refs make bad calls. I'm not looking forward to hearing a bunch of bitching about this game. As far as I'm concerned if the Pats lose, it will be due to the fact that they could not stop Addai, and that Tom Brady made too many costly mistakes.

The Dears and the bee gees eh? Interesting choices. Skynard - Pronounced..., Duran Duran - Rio and Electric Summer 2007 (There's probably like thirty dance albums with this title, but this was pretty good).

Who else do you think would come in to be the replacement, at MW, with a few weeks left before the card is about to show? Menno Joe will be taking his spot. -

Don't worry, they're still gonna lay over and die when they see how great the Celtics are gonna be this year. I'm sure they'll lose by about fifty tomorrow. Seriously though, that's game of the week in my opinion. I think the two will be battling it out all season long. It's unfortunate that it's on at the same time as Pats vs. Colts.

The Critic has aged pretty poorly I think. It just doesn't seem funny at all to me, and the Family Guy-esque flashback sequences are pretty boring as well.

The problem is Hughes is used to MFS elite, and these guys are TUF Not so Elite.

There's no direct quote in there, in fact I think it's the author of the article that is making the assumption.

That post is way better if you picture the Honky Tonk Man saying it.

What makes you think Lebron will sign with the Lakers in 2010? That's a pretty "Crystal ball" Type of prediction. Not to mention you know when you're talking about things going well three years from now with a player whose given no indication that he wants to play for you being the reason for your positivity that things are pretty shitty.

That pricing structure makes no sense at all.
