I picked them to finish sixth, but that's mostly because I fully expect Boston to surpass them in the Atlantic. I went on to say in a later post that they'll be very, very good. I expect them to be a real contender in th east this year. I know Marc Stein picked them to win the conference. Yeah I know, but you seemed to be the only one, until Ripper realized he forgot about them. I'm still unsure about how well the Nets will do with Krstic. That seemed to be something that Nets fans harped on about ad nauseum last year, and I'm curious as to how much of a difference he'll make. I'm also curious as to how much of an impact Moore's departure will have.

There seems to be no Toronto love around these parts eh? Oh well, that's why they play the games, rather rely on TSM to lay things out beforehand. I'll definitely have to see Boston when they come to town. That should be a crazy game, plus Bosh vs. KG.

What do you completely and utterly suck at?

So nobody here knows how to fix a door, or draw one up right? -
I always thought you were from England because your grammar and syntax is horrible, which is par for the course with a lot of the hooligans here. I assumed that you just happened to be a fan of "American" football.

You'd have been a better pro wrestler though. -
"NHB Golden Crew" is almost as lame as the "Conservative Brigade". Almost.

He still doesn't deserve to be in the top ten, and that defense as a unit has a bunch of guys like that. Players benefit more from the system than vice versa in New England, as their revolving door-mentality has shown. When you want to talk about how good someone is, talking about how bad the team is without him is a nice exclamation point, but should not serve as the main point of your argument. Walter Jones is top ten, maybe top five. As is Orlando Pace. Linemen get no love. Zach Thomas must have just been a ridiculous oversight. There's no way they could have left him off if they remembered who he was.

Chalk me up for drawing. Also a lot of that man stuff, like handiwork, tools, cars, etc. -

Portuguese, but I don't know that either. -
Source I doubt this will get approved, but it still boggles the mind that it's being considered.

Isn't cherry cola just Dr. Pepper? That's what I heard anyway.

Well, crushed Floyd Mayweather-styles, which is severely outpointed to a Uninanimous decision.

Hatton is gonna get crushed.

The pesky Nets will be good next year with Krstic playing all the way through, but Jason Kidd will be a year older, and VC is getting on the wrong side of thirty. Vince will always be one of the best offensive players in the league when he's on, but the problem is he's so inconsistent. I have a hard time believing he will ever be a good clutch player, as he dished the ball away when he had the chance to tie it in Toronto in Game 5 and he lost the ball to old-ass Eric Snow to give the series away to Cleveland. He always folds under pressure. I'm one of the few Raps fans that likes Vince and would welcome him back with open arms, but he'll never be the go-to guy. Kidd is amazing, admittedly, but his body has a lot of miles on it. He can't turn it on like he used to, and he has those flashes of brilliance, but really he tends to slow down a lot. Jefferson is pretty good. So the Nets will be really good, better than last year, but I'm still not willing to say they'll finish ahead of the Raptors next year, especially with Garbo back in the lineup all the way through the season. Celtics are a wild card at this point, who knows how well they will gel together, and how great KG's impact will really be. I'd say they're the favourite, but I'm not gonna write off a team like the Raptors, who built themselves up the traditional way with young players poised to break through, against a team that was horribly bad last year who simply added a bunch of stars. Bosh actually finished ahead of KG in terms of the all NBA team. Do I think that means he's better? Hell no, but the fact is he's on or close to his level at this point. The Raptors have a great core of big men, which is especially helpful in the East, and one of the deepest benches in the league. Combine that with the fact that they have youth on their side (inexperience which cost them in the playoffs last year) and they look to go forward, not backward.

I'm guessing that would mean that he would be able to have a much sharper taste as to whether or not a beer has gone bad, as he's developed a pretty mean palette.
-
There's no reason to believe this, considering their problem last year was inexperience and letting the playoff jitters get to them. They will only be a better team this year.

Toronto street meat is probably the best as far as hot dogs and sausages I've had. I haven't been to many of these supposed hot spots in the U.S. though.

Wrestlers You Like as Wrestlers But Dislike as People?
Your Paragon of Virtue replied to zappafrank's topic in General Wrestling
Considering DK did an interview with Benoit on the LAW a couple years back warning him about the perils of the lifestyle in wrestling, including the drugs and physical abuse, I'd say that him trying to save his life is not as much of a stretch as you're making it out to be. Elaborate on Jannetty, that seems pretty funny. I'd be interested in hearing his stories. -
I'm sorry, this was too funny to pass up. I'm sure Mike is actually a nice guy (which he is, judging by most posts outside of Current Events) but this was Slapnuts-level of Republican hilarity. Maybe I'll post more of these. The Pit is awesome.

Might as well: I was gonna bold certain parts, but then I realized that I would just end up bolding the whole thing.

I don't think it's just a coincidence that VH posts this right around the time when everyone in this folder seems to realize that he sucks.
