Im going to need some advice..
Your Paragon of Virtue replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Brandon Truitt
He's kinda right. -
I never really followed much WCW since up in Canada it was pretty much all WWF stuff shown, but I'm interested in going back and catching what I missed. Anybody can provide comp tapes of matches mentioned here: http://www.deathvalleydriver.com/Bestof90s/jdwwcwballot.html I'm willing to negotiate a price and stuff. Also I'm pretty ignorant of WCW, so if you can convince me of which events might be good to get as a whole, that might be an option too. Thanks in advance.

I'm glad you don't mind throwing people in prison without any trial or charge. Are you a big fan of Saddam? -

Part of the fun is training it. If you don't train it it's not really your dog. -
UFC 62: Babalu Vs. Liddell...
Your Paragon of Virtue replied to Lt. Al Giardello's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
Interviews is them talking. Fights and training is what I base fights on really. Who cares how much shit they talk? How many times has Kevin Randleman gone off about how we're gonna see the new Kevin Randleman, how he's trained harder for this fight or blah blah blah. Picking the winner based on interviews is pretty dumb. 99% of the time fighters want to win and give all they can. They don't necessarily have to talk to get that across. -
Fuck, give me millions of dollars and I'll gladly dance around in those chains.

If Marvin would ever attempt to talk, and we got along well (which would be difficult since we're both quiet and stubborn), it would be possible over time. WP, I have no idea. I really think he's say... the equivalent of Jingus or Coffey. A good wrestling poster, who's rather intelligent and a good person, but is a general failure at life. The difference is when WP shared some of the stories of his life, and saw the reaction it got, he decided to overexaggerate it to death. And now he can't stop. Which is rather frightening. So, no. I tend to talk too much, but thats what happens when you spend the vast majority of your time alone with no one to talk to. There you go Marvin, you talk which is all that matters. Here's your chance. -
Radio Stations you listen to
Your Paragon of Virtue replied to Your Paragon of Virtue's topic in Music
I don't know much about XM, from what I understand it's great quality but still the same shitty stuff you get on regular radio. What principle do you avoid Clear Channel on? -

I should just point out how much I dislike the "He wants it more" line. How do you know who wants it more? It's impossible to tell, it's pure conjecture and therefore a useless argument. In my opinion Lindland vs. Franklin has a better story, what with the UFC shafting Matt while he waited for his shot at the title. I doubt that will happen anytime soon, but I'd like to see it. Silva can knock Franklin out, but if Franklin is smart enough to take him to the ground, he will win it. Sometimes I wonder what goes through his head, since he could have finished Rivera and Loiseau sooner had he taken both those fights to the ground. -
I'd laugh pretty fucking hard if Roman won. I mean he knocked out two guys who people said Wanderlei would be deathly afraid of on the feet (years ago that is) so I guess anything is possible.

Jeff Hardy re-signed by WWE

You could say the difficulty in reading it is due to the fact that he's a little...overworked. -
The influcence of mixed martial arts in pro wrestling
Your Paragon of Virtue replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in The WWE Folder
Vyce it's all about timing, if you did it in the beginning before anything was posted in response and derailed the thread, maybe you would have succeeded. You were too late as is. Besides, there was only like one or two people that did it in the WWE folder before (Rudo and LOTC may in fact be the same person). So to ruin a thread (Check it, try to ruin) when a bunch of WWE Folder regulars as well as MMA fans that never really bothered to check out the wwe folder are also posting in it, is well, pretty stupid....which actually makes sense all things considered. Now that CC told you to stop, you probably will though. If only we could get Leena to scold you too, you'd probably never post about MMA again. Anyway, do you have a source for that Brock Lesnar thing? Besides, it's hard to take what Pat says about Brock seriously when his number one HW in Tim Sylvia thinks he's God when it's quite clear that God is busy fighting on the other side of the pacific. Something I think Wrestling has taken from MMA and can do more of is try to make it look more legitimate. I saw one match where they introduced characters just like they would before a fight when they were in the ring standing in their corners. Just overall presentation stuff. Another thing they can borrow is to try to push feuds over who is the better wrestler, rather than spilled coffee or something. These aren't mma specific though, these are the signs of any legitimate sport. But those are things I'm personally interested in, as a sports fan. Most people that watch Pro wrestling aren't really watching it for competition's sake obviously. This is why I don't think that they should really try to borrow anything from each other than presentation aspects. Anything else would take away from what it is. -
Well, it's official: http://www.vecernji-list.hr/newsroom/sport...604977/index.do I don't know Croatian so I can't post a translation, but it's on Sherdog a bunch. Oh well, apparently they only wanted to pay him for one fight? If he lost the final he would get nothing? I don't know how it works but if that is the case I can't say I blame him.

It's gotta be more than 150 000 in yen, isn't that like, well, not a lot?

Leena, serious question; would you fuck Marvin if he happened to be in the Tempe area? Or WP? -
Typical response from a cunt. Let me guess.... your next reaction was to say I have a little dick? The irony of Heel's posts are too hard to resist. Have fun f**king yourself. That's totally not in your M.O. Did you have a gimmick overhaul when I wasn't looking or something?

am i really arguing with a 14 year old? you're right. my standards are dropping. ??? I don't get it, but I'll take it. Anything to kill this godawful thread.

There's not really much passion or anger, but thanks for proving the "borderline Troll" comment.

Nah man, Banky knows his hip hop shit. Rick Ross is the next B.I.G. Groundbreaking lyricism to be sure. EDIT: Just to elaborate on what I said earlier about the "absolute" statement, Banky has a history of stating facts like the one earlier, then ending it with "Anyone who disagrees is a moron" or something similar. When he says something ridiculous like T.I. or Rick Ross being the future of Hip Hop, he just makes himself look like an even bigger dumbass. In NO way is that true. Whatsoever. Either he's an idiot or a borderline troll. Take your pick.

I just heard it on the radio, I figured some here would be interested, I'm pretty ignorant of his stuff though. What I've heard of Love, I've liked. RIP. EDIT: Closest thing I could find to a news story, from Pitchfork.

Didn't Jay Z sign Fallout Boy? Lame. Banky making absolute statements while talking through his ass isn't anything new.

Marvin is content to live his life as is, leave him alone. He certainly prefers it that way. -

Yeah, I was disappointed that there was no mention of Ali G in the trailer.

Heat is not an "overlong" movie, nor is it only about blowing shit up. It actually flies by in terms of pace, and there's lots of depth to it. There's a reason why it fills out three hours without missing a beat, making it shorter would have ruined it. It's kinda funny how Curry brings up Benchwarmers as a stereotypical "stupid" movie and CD is all "THATS HILARIOUS". Scarface can't help but be overrated when people are all "It's the G.O.A.T." It's not really fair to say that, since it implies that the movie might not be good. But that's also a great movie. Great rags to riches to (SPOILER ALERT) Rags story. Pacino plays the fiery Cuban FOB to perfection. Manolo Ray is great as the right-hand man. I'm left wondering why Steven Bauer didn't get any other roles, because I think his suave demeanor plays a perfect contrast to Tony's hot-headedness. Haven't seen MV, looks like stylized crap, but I'll probably give it a chance since I am such a big fan of Heat. I should probably watch Collateral first, since that's gotten a lot of praise. Oh c'mon, that movie is awesome.
