Heineken and Molson Export. I have no idea if these are "Good" beers, but I like 'em. The worst I've had was Boreal Dark. Or black? I don't know, but it was Gross.

What kind of offense did Lawler use to get his point acrosS? Also, where would you put Bret Hart? To me while he wasn't in that era, his work in the 90s makes him a candidate for being a top babyface. -
What's so special abotu this game, for those of us that don't know?

Chicago requires big-box stores to pay 'living wage'

A raise of a dollar and fifty cents is actually pretty significant, especially when relative to minimum wage. -
http://youtube.com/watch?v=pJnUkudFS_8&...er%20the%20edge WWF OVer the edge as Owen died, it's a little creepy to know that all these video packages and stuff were going on while Owen was essentially dead in the ring. Does anyone have any links to what wrestlers said during the show regarding the incident? I know Debra for one mentioned it in her backstage interview, or so I've heard. I'd be interested to see that, since Youtube failed in that regard. However here is the tribute from Raw the next night, or at least some of it: http://youtube.com/watch?v=pJnUkudFS_8&...er%20the%20edge

When was he promised a World Title push? And how did Hogan hold him down? I have a hard time believing either of those. Not that guys would get their promised push aborted, or that Hogan would hold someone down, but Bam Bam? Nah.

I'd like to know what makes you think Lawler is the best face of that era CS. Also, I was unaware that Hogan and Flair faced off at all those house shows. To me it kind of ruins the main event of Wrestlemania, the biggest match of the era or whatever with the "Champ vs. Champ" storyline, knowing that the two faced each other so many times already. Did they do this with Shawn vs. Bret or Hogan vs. Andre? To my knowledge they didn't face each other on house show circuits often did they? -
Bench 600 lbs and run 100 yards? Lawl.

Don't listen to Leena, only get a job if you have to. I'm getting a job that's about 8 hours a week, but that's a cheap cashier job in the faculty "general store" in that it sells a bunch of snacks/drinks as well as textbooks and the like. That's only for pocket money and because when I'm not using it as time to study I can chat with people that come in that I probably know. Then again, I've been working all summer to save up money that will actually pay for school, so my situation is different from yours. Still, fuck a real job while going to school. Your life will be a lot more boring, trust me, I know plenty of people that do it. Only if it's a necessity.

Even though I dislike Kid Rock, the song doesn't really ruin it or anything, there's not a lot to expect from a HL video anyway. One of the best the WWE has made I think. One of the weaker Desire songs? Are you a Creed fan or something?

Actually I was saying that I haven't seen a good article there yet, so I assumed he was a part of the pond. Do you have link, to show?

He walks around under 175, all he has to do to make weight is stop lifting weights so much to keep up with 170 lb'ers, and he could make it pretty easily. -

lol, I've rolled with Lautaro, and was sad to hear about what happened to him. He trained BJJ for this fight with one of the blue belts from the school, in the guy's basement. I guess the training there didn't help him learn how to protect himself when going for a flying knee. -
He's a poster over at Sherdog and Upstanding Fucking Citizens. Lei tends to name drop a lot without any explanation so I can understand why people would get confused.
-
Anyone famous? I mean I assume all the Gracie's earned there's.....it's like required in the family isn't it? John Lewis who is a pretty famous BJJ instructor got his black belt for helping Andre Pedernias (Spelling is probably off here) get into the USA. He was actually a blue belt under Rickson before that.
-
Very wrong. Most of the wrestlers that can at least pass the guard have learned BJJ to a certain extent. I'm also sure that most of them practice their bottom game enough to use it just in case it comes up. I remember Randy Couture going for armbars against Kevin Randleman. I don't care about either Aleks or Sergei at this point. Both of them have come up short at their biggest chances I think.

He recently called out Tiny Lister, and said it was a fight he couldn't lose, and would be too embarrassed to get beat by a guy that got KO'ed by Ice Cube. SIMS. -

Frank SWEARS he hit him above the belt. I don't believe it, but I like Frank too much to hate on him. Seriously, how can anyone lie about something THAT obvious? What an arrogant bastard. I love it. -

The fight I referenced in the picture is a great start as well. Seeing Penn cut through Gomi's butterfly guard like, well, butter, into full mount was beautiful jiu jitsu that didn't feature a guard, as that's seems to be the misconception among the masses, that BJJ=Guard. It's got ground fighting, but it's violent enough that I think you'll pay attention. Matt Hughes vs. Frank Trigg 2 has gotten tons of people I know into MMA, for those that were interested in Gracie coming back, watching those Unleashed specials, they all loved the back and forth action of that fight. Also has ground fighting that's easy to understand since it's violent and the slam is awesome as well as the storyline. -

Also on the latest Beatdown Sims said Coleman will be fighting in the UFC. I'd be interested to see if he has anything left as far as being a heavyweight goes. His takedowns still looked pretty sharp against Shogun. -

Guess who might be dropping by the UFC LW division? And no, I'm NOT talking about Gomi... www.kuam.com (Scroll down to under the Kuam News Video player thing) -
Is this an actual physical dependancy that you have to fight, or just like a hobby that you would prefer doing but since you can't for whatever reason (job or whatever) then it's easy to just stop?
