The UFC looked really dumb with Chris' "Go back to Japan" comment. Yeah, I'm sure most fighters would have an easier time in PRIDE than in the TUF house.

I'm not gonna be watching this, I only watched one scene out of White Chicks on Youtube (Terry Crews baby), but I will say that Marlon Wayans is actually a decent actor.

That was the longest double post ever. Anyway, I think the last two matches saved it for me. I don't know why they put Cummo on last? That made no sense, what would they have done if Anderson vs. Leben ran long? Have them fight but just not air it? Weird choice really. Great fight though, Goulet's relentless but his chin is suspect. Anderson Silva proved that you're gonna have to strike with him at least a little bit to get into the clinch. I can't believe Chris Leben was knocked out like that. He said the reason Cote's bombs didn't KO him were because they weren't hitting him in the right spot. I guess it's true that if your strikes hit someone in the jaw or temple that they will get knocked out. Pretty weird seeing him get decked so easily though, after we all thought his chin was made of granite. This marks the second time a Team Quest guy has talked mad shit about how their chin is superior to their opponent's and about how they were gonna rock them only to get KTFO. Nice touch from Anderson by giving Chris the water. I wanted Rashad to win before this match started. Of course, I had only seen one of his fights, the TUF Final. After about two minutes I was rooting for him to lose. Horribly boring, almost goes into guard. I almost think if he falls on his back he'll turn over and lay flat on his tummy. Gurgel was beaten handily, but not much damage. A brown belt in BJJ doesn't mean much anymore.

For EHME to think Leben only cares about pleasing fans; in his latest interview on the Sherdog Beatdown, he talked about how he cares about winning and a good gameplan, and that the sport isn't just about pleasing fans. He stated what his gameplan would be on the radio; take him down and pound his face in. Expect him to take Silva down, but expect little pounding of the face, and more LnP'ing. I said it when it was announced and I'll say it again, Leben by LnP UD. I hope I'm wrong, but everything else I've heard leads to this. Silva can technically be a WW. This card isn't looking too good to me, but then again UFN's are rarely good.

THe MW division is pretty shallow, and his is a tough style matchup for most of the guys.

Don't buy the hype, people will overhype anyone in the HW division since it's so lacklustre. Fedor KO's him in the first round, now, in two years, in ten years.

England hasn't played very well in the World Cup and they have a good shot at stumbling into the Semi's since Portugal has a few stars out of the game. I wish it were possible for both of them to lose.

Stout is far from a tomato can. I also am not one of those Canadians that hugged his nuts either, I figured he was gonna lose. Florian can make some noise, but too bad Sherk will dryhump his way to a title. Florian beat Chris Leben, whose a top ten guy at MW, maybe top fifteen, while Florian's a natural 155'er. He's a *great* fighter. Herman would not have submitted him later in the fight, a better argument can be made that Kendall would have done so, considering that he only needed ten more seconds to finish the choke. Kendall is far removed from his beating at the hands of Riggs. He's not nearly as green and he will only get better training at Big Bear. That fight happens again and Kendall takes it IMO. That is an example of a halfway decent MW. Also, your comparison of Quarry's fight is crazy, as that was about as one-sided a beating and as definitive a finish as I've ever seen in MMA. Quarry was COMPLETELY outclassed, essentially getting knocked out twice in three minutes with the last one being the most brutal I think I've seen, right up there with the Mezger "LOOK AT HIS LEG" KO. Also, it's unfair to just want one of these guys to fight the champ at this point, seeing how they are essentially all minor league prospects and no one would be stupid enough to take a guy making a UFC debut and put him in there with the champ.

What makes you think Herman is a better prospect than Kendall when Kendall beat him? Kendall reminds me of Nick Diaz kinda, but smarter and more aggressive. Nick's problem is that he is too dumb to gameplan sometimes and also doesn't push the fight enough. That's why I think Grove will be more successful.

There's no way that decision was bullshit, I was thinking they would give it to Herman and I was prepared to call it BS then. Josh definitely surprised me in the beating he took. Surprised about Wes Combs losing so quickly. His credentials looked pretty good. Other then that, all fights went as planned. Does anyone know if Tito cornered any of the guys on the prelims? I think he cornered Hamill but I don't know about the rest.

He's mentioend it before in race related topics I think. Didn't surprise me, though I didn't know he was that old.

I want Solomon to win, but he's probably gonna get wrecked.
