WINNER: RHYNO/CADE SETS UP: More boring Tag Team feuds. Rating: **(at best) SMACKDOWN TAG TITLES The Dudleys vs. Kidman/London This could be a great match. The Dudley's are old-school, WWE style. Show Kidman and London just outgunning and outrunning the Duds, in a fast paced upset win. WINNER: KIDMAN/LONDON HELPS SET UP: Cruiserweight legitimacy, a new age for Tag Teams? Possible rating:***1/2(It all depends on the spots) US TITLE---NO DQ Cena vs. RVD Set the style up a la RVD/Taker Armageddon 01(?). Nice little hardcore match. Cena retains--to set up Cena/Eddie feud. WINNER: CENA SETS UP: Cena/Eddie, RVD/Taker Rating: *** Flair/Batista vs. Eugene/Regal After Eugene realizes Evolution is against him, Eugene is set up by Uncle Eric to face Flair/Batista in a Tag match. Eugene doesn't trust anyone after all that has happened. Whilst getting pummeled by both men, MICK FOLEY'S music hits, he comes down, clears out Flair, Eugene sees this, takes off sock, puts down Batista for the win. Huge face pop, sets up Flair/Foley grudge match. WINNER: EUGENE SETS UP: Flair/Foley Rating: **1/2, but, **** in mark out factor Taker vs. Luther Rains/JBL/Kenzo (managed by Paul Heyman) Just some match for the scared Heyman to avoid Taker with his "Thugs". Throwaway match for the Taker pop only. JBL lost title because of Taker, sides with Heyman. Enlists other guys. Boredom. Heyman realizes that to take out Taker, he needs to change. He needs extreme. RVD. WINNER: TAKER SETS UP: TAKER/RVD Rating: ** Rey Mysterio vs. Jamie Knoble vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. Shannon Moore Cruiserweight Four-Way, give em 10 minutes. WINNER: REY REY SETS UP: Future tag matches between some of these guys, and new champs Kidman/London. Rating: *** Some chick match. Who really cares? Throw in some other things, plant seed for SurSeries. Sounds decent to me. It think the potential feuds that come out could resurrect the weak spots right now. And, making some cruisers the Tag champs, sets up Tag matches for all the cruisers, getting them some TV time. Long term you get some decent storylines.

Usually I just read the oao Raw thread at work, so that I don't waste my time going to the bar to watch the West coast playing of Raw. This week I won't just because I'm kind of excited to see Rock come back. I don't understand it at all....I mean, the guy pops up only when Vince needs the cheap pop and buy Rock is good for....and the angle he's entering has nothing to do with him whatsoever...so why do I care? I guess it has to do with watching the Monday Night War DVD, and seeing the reactions the crowds used to have, hell, the reaction I used to have watching Austin/Rock/Foley/Jericho/Team ECK(man, I loved Team ECK)...etc.... So, is it wrong for me to want to see The Rock and OS Taker? Can I sink into fantasy for awhile without the feeling of guilt? Can I crank up Pearl Jam's Ten, grab the weed, blow the smoke thru a paper towel roll with fabric softener on one end of it, and watch WrestleMania through the eyes of a kid, if just for one measly afternoon in March? The answer: No. Because the crap is too overbooked, and only watching Angle/Eddie will make me feel good. But man, it's nice to think that all will sink into place and work out perfectly and I will actually pop when Lesnar F-5's Crapberg. What do you guys think, will the Road to and the destination of WrestleMania explode the next two weeks and make it a memorable show?

I think Eric will have someone come out to help him vs. Vince...... GOLDBERG! It'll make up for the missed spear last week, and it sets up more of a dream match, old WCW vs. new WWE...Brock vs. Goldberg. Plus, good ol' Bill might fuck up just enough to knock Vince outta commission for awhile.

I was just thinking, with all the talk of Benoit coming over to RAW, couldn't the whole set up be that Jericho uses his wish to bring Benoit to RAW and take down HHH or Michaels? After seeing Benoit get screwed @ the Rumble, he decides to help his friend out... Think about the storyline possibilities...it cements Jericho as a face...brings back the Two Chrises again.....and Benoit has good motives against either HHH or HBK. HHH---Brought in the Radicals(gave them contracts), resolution to the storyline pre-HHH injury, work ethic vs. politics, etc... HBK---To do what Bret Hart should've done. Personally, I'd love a Benoit vs. HBK match @ WMXX, with Benoit winning a 25-30 minute match with the SHARPSHOOTER!!! Plus, this scenerio sets up a whole Two Chrises vs. Evolution story, frees Goldberg to go after Lesnar. So, to conclude, @ WMXX we could have... HBK vs. Benoit Goldberg vs. Lesnar HHH vs. Jericho Taker vs. Kane Orton/Batista/Flair vs. Rock/Foley/STEAMBOAT(eh...why not?) Right there, Hooters would have my $$$ and my time. What I really don't understand is....how did Ivory get a shot at Molly? Where the hell was Victoria? And Flair winning a belt for doing nothing is shit...period. With all the hype going on with Wrestlemania, and, with me sitting at work with some jackass from Minnesota on hold wondering why he has to pay .05 for 911 service on his phone bill, I thought about some of the matches....so we have the givens: Kane vs. Taker Goldberg vs. Lesnar The maybees: McMahon vs. Foley HHH vs. Foley But...one match that I thought would be really interesting...hasn't been suggested yet, so I'll go out on a limb and suggest it.... After killing "legend" after "legend", Randy Orton announces himself to now be a legend...a 3rd generation WWE superstar with no peer...then....(caps necessary here) "IF YOU SMELLLLLL....." Think about it. Rock needs a match at WMXX. Orton will get a rub, and Rock is the right guy to do it. Rock doesn't care if he shows up and wins, and Vince needs Rock for the event. Rock could be just the right guy to finally get Orton over. Just my .02, or .00006 pesos, or something like that...

I got to thinking last night, who is smark proof? I mean, which wrestlers invoke such a good feeling that really nobody hates them? For me, I would think of guys like Bret Hart, Foley, and possibly Andre. Andre more for nostalgia--obviously the guy wasn't exactly a great wrestler....but really, who can do no wrong? Like I said, my votes are for Bret and Mick, mostly.

They could do "Capture The Gnome"...and have it go all show long for some sort of "prize"...and recapture the feeling of the 24/7 hardcore rules shows....think about it...have guys like Dreamer, Richards, Hurricane, etc...pull off hardcore comedy bits for the magical Gnome....it would be funny as hell, and, would be a fitting tribute(finally) to Crash... just my .02 cents(or my .026 somethingorother to you Canucks out there)

Do you folks out there think that maybe a key to turning around the company could lie in a big upset? Maybe take someone who isn't supposed to win, give the guy a HUGE win against an established champ, and build a story around him? Take a talented but mid-card level guy and have him all the sudden come out of nowhere to win a title. Think about a guy like Rob Conway or John Cena(although, Cena's better known now) and do a shock the world kind of win. And make it stick, make it clean. Then, watch the snakes come out of the grass to cozy up to the guy. Like, Conway gets a match with Goldberg on RAW, just for the hell of it, everybody thinks it's just another squash, when suddenly, a la' Jericho vs HHH, Conway wins. He's the new champ. No one expects it, and, no one knows what to do. All the sudden, Bischoff is his buddy. Austin wants to drink beer with him. Stacy wants to manage him. And before the match, nobody knew who he was! I think it would ignite a you-never-know attitude among the fans. I'd watch more often, if I knew anything could happen. Granted, I'm not sure who could pull this off. I thought of Cena and Conway because they both have a good look, and, can walk the line of heel/face...although I'm sure Conway needs more time. Hell, maybe put it on that Big John whathisface on Raw. Then when HHH wants his belt back, they can have a match, and the big OVW hoss will fuck up and put HHH out for a few months. How about... NWA/TNA LINE IN THE SAND Gives the effect that there is a "battle" of sorts going on, and, this could really be the chance to step up to the WWE...you know, a line in the sand, there is now a new kid in town, sort of thing. If....and this is a big If here....Hogan comes in right, it could lift the promotion somewhat....but...only if they DO NOT focus on Hogan, Piper, Jarett, etc...but...use them to get people to finally see AJ, AMW, etc...the guys they have never seen...it could be good. Besided, the WWE is prime for some shit talking now.
