I think the Rock is a good person to have in the WWE. He can work the mic when he doesnt try to hard and can put on an entertaining match. However, if he comes back and is only gonna be here for a month or two i would say DONT give him the title. He doesnt need it to be over.

Here are my 10 freatest feuds ever: 1) Randy Savage vs. Ric Flair (This feud had more hatred than just about any other feud i ever saw in my life.) 2) Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant (The emotion was off the charts on this one. Former best friends for so long, and then enemies because of business, with months of buildup before their match of the century at WMIII) 3) Ricky Steamboat vs. Ric Flair ( Even though the feud wans't very long these 2 guys had some great classics with each other) 4) Randy Savage vs. Ricky Steamboat (Very emotional and a lot of hatred with Savage almost killing Steamboat, and Ricky doing all that rehab to comeback and take the title from Savage as one of the best matches ever at WMIII) 5) Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart (A great double turn and what turned into a Canada vs. USA feud with pure hatred for each other resulting in at least 3 great matches between the 2) 6) Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart (These 2 guys legitimately hated each other and you could see that on the TV screen. months of buildup which culminated in the biggest controversy ever during a match) 7) Sting vs. Ric Flair (These guys went at it for years against each other. MOst of the time hated enemies, but sometimes ont he same sides they provided some classics. Ric Flair MADE Sting in their feud.) 8) Steve Austin vs. Vince McMAhon (The great feud of boss vs. employee in which Austin represented everyone that wanted to kick the crap out of their boss, and resulted him in getting screwed many times) 9) Bret Hart vs. Owen HArt ( A great story with Owen becoming more and more jealous of his bigger more succesful brother resulting in a shocking turn and setting up a very angry feud resulting in a several great matches. I think many siblings could relate to this feud when it happened. 10) Von Erichs vs. Freebirds ( These guys hated each other for YEARS. and it went past one generation of Von Erichs. )

I hope Andrea is Andre, but if you're talking about Andrea Bocelli i think Haku would win ............. Seriously though, Haku was trained to fight in Tonga and he's legitimate as fas as tough guys go. Even though Andre was so big, you know the saying the bigger they are the harder they fall. Get Andre off the ground and he's done.

Maybe i'm crazy..............but, i actually think they're serious about pushing Jericho this time. They can't ignore his reactions anymore, as he gets a ton of boos and cheers. MAybe they finally realized they have a special performer. I think these guys will have title reigns in 2003. RAW: 1)Triple H --- What else is new 2)Scott Steiner --- It's a given he'll have a succesful title run soon. 3) Chris Jericho --- I think by SummerSlam we could finally see him hold the gold again. 4) Steve Austin --- If he's on RAW you better believe he'll be the champ. For some reason i see him dropping the title to Jericho at SummerSlam. Smackdown: 1) Brock --- he'll win the title again 2) Angle --- Kurt 's gonna keep the title till Mania. 3) Benoit --- I see him being pushed into a major feud with Brock after Mania. 4) The Rock --- If he comes back to Smackdown its a guarantee he'll be the champ soon after

I don't think anyone here WISHES he would have gotten a serious injury (at least i hope). IT's just that the guy shouldt really be main eventing any shows and should be relegated to Velocity. I think the Brock and Goldberg situations were different. Brock's move is a very tough one and especially with a 350 lb guy on your shoulder he messed up. It happens. Goldberg kicked Bret Hart in the face as hard as he could. Cmon man, that's basic shit holding your kicks back instead of nailing someone that hard. I thought he was training Jamal that day he kicked the hell out of the Lesbian from the HLA segment. Goldberg was super careless. Brock was kinda careless too but not to the same extent.

To be honest I just think more so than the fans thinking he's a sellout is the fact that everytime Rock comes back he comes back with the same tired crap from years ago. He hasn't changed his material one bit, and has the same exact catchphrases. ANother thing is that he just seems to be trying too hard, to come off with funny lines. Back in the day he would just let the words roll off his mouth for whatever he came up with at the moment. Now it seems like everything is too prepared and he's too damnd eliberate with his lines now. He yells way too much. Another thing, and i agree with you on this is his speech he gave on Raw not too long ago. Very hippocritical in my opinion. He says to get the "F" out if you dont wanna be here, but he keeps leaving after a few months for long periods at a time. It looks like HE is the one that doesnt wanna be here. The fans are just tired of his stale act and contradicting attitude. Time for a change Rocky.....back to heel perhaps. When he comes back he should be the arrogant heel he used to be who thinks he's better than everyone cause he's a hollywood guy now. I bet you he'd get way over if he resorted to that character.

Here are my Scott Keith ratings: Royal Rumble Match ---- I believe it will be Brock, Jericho, and HBK as the final 3 in the rumble with HBK and JEricho eliminating each other and Brock taking the Rumble. I don't rate battle royals! HHH vs. Scott Steiner --- In the battle of bad workers with roid rage i predict HHH losing by DQ possibly with interference from the nature boy , but keeping his title for Steiner to win down the road. I think these 2 will unfortunately get about 15 minutes. I see the match getting * at the most. Possibly 5 hot pokers up the ass for putting these 2 giant slowbags together. Brock vs. Big Show --- I see no way in Big Show winning this and keeping Brock from the Rumble so i see Brock going over with perhaps some help from Undertaker about 5 minutes into this one. Possibly *1/2. Angle vs. Benoit ----- Aaaah, a match I can never get tired of. They better give these 2 guys at least 20 minutes to tell their story and I believe Angle will go over with some help from Team Angle. It should be in the range of **** to ****1/2 if it's what i expect. Torrie vs. Dawn Marie. --- I can't possible find someone who gives a rats ass about this one. blah blah blah blah, and Torrie goes over Dawn for the 27th consecutive time in the last few months. R.I.P Al, hopefully this crap ends at the Rumble. DUD and 15 hot pokers up the ass for putting this crap on yet ANOTHER PPV. Dudley Boys vs. Storm/Regal ---- I actually see this match being pretty entertaining with Storm and Regal cheating to win. IT's just too early for them to lose the titles and I think they're saving the Dudley's title win for MAnia perhaps. If given any time it could be **1/2 to ***.

I'll do these with what I think is the top 3 of each category: Raw Moment of the Decade --- 1)ManKind winning WWF Title 2) Austin and Mike Tyson getting into it pre mania 3) Y2J's awesome debut Superstar of the Decade --- 1)Stone Cold 2)Shawn Michaels 3) Bret Hart Match of the Decade --- 1)Owen vs. Bulldog for the new European title. 2) Owen/Bulldog vs. Austin/HBK 3) HBK vs. MArty Jannetty for IC title. Most Shocking Moment --- 1)Pillman gun incident 2)Bret profanity filled tirade on Vince 3) The first ECW invasion back in 97 Gimme The Mic --- 1) The Rock 2) Stone Cold 3) Chris Jericho Sickest Bump --- 1) Cactus JAck and Chainsaw Charlie dumpster ride to the floor 2) Mae YOung taking powerbomb off the ramp onto a table (I was there for that and it was unbelievable to see that old lady take that bump 3) Y2J in TLC a few months ago where he fell off the ladder and over the top rope cleanly Diva of the Decade --- 1) Sable 2) Sunny 3) Chyna

Jeff Hardy --- The guy has been Mr. Xtreme or whatever for years now. Hasn't even TRIED to change his act at all, and the retarded arm and face paint don't count. Doesn't even seem to care anymore about being in the ring and the high spots have seemed to caught up with him rapidly. Raven --- Plain and simple. WWE never planned on pushing him in the first place. They hated his look, but just thought it was get a minor pop for him to show up on a PPV and help Tazz beat Jerry Lawler. It's sad too cause the guy could put on a good match with psychology. Rikishi --- I thought he was gonna be pretty big when he first came in as a heel. A big man with good agility and not a bad moveset. Well, he then became a dancing fool and even though he was over he wasn't taken seriously anymore. The heel turn didn't go very well for him and now he's doing the same shit he was doing 3-4 years ago. Time for a change. This guy's a friggin joke now. Kidman --- He's been champion for about 2 months now and has some good wins. This is as big a push as he's gonna get in WWE so he better enjoy it. IT's all downhill from here. Tajiri --- He was pretty over when he turned face and left Regal. The fans loved him. Throwing him in a love story killed him and his heel turn killed his heat. He's back now and has gotten a few wins and i think if built properly he could be at the top of the CW division again soon.

Yo, its like some of you go DIGGING for shit to complain about......jeez.......those friggin awards in the magazine are much better than the RAW X awards. I have no problme with Brock being superstar of the year. The guy was defeated once since April when he started for christ sake if you dont count that DQ loss agaiunst the hardy's.

I mean jesus best match of the decade and they couldnt go past 99? What about Shawn vs. Marty Jannetty..........Owen vs. Bulldog........Owen vs. Shawn...........jesus if anything at least put Austin vs. Angle in there if you dont wanna go back that far or RVD vs. Eddie Guerrero in the ladder match....its insulting to our intelligence.

If they ever bring Japanese wrestling to america

Watanabe had to be the worst guy i ever heard. I got some FMW tapes and he's just awful. His dumb ass sense of humor and constant delay in calling moves is extremely annoying. I would say bring in Mike Tenay and team him up with the newest commentator on the block soon..............Johnny Ace .......or maybe just stick Tazz in there with Joey Styles -
What a friggin weak ass lineup for the Raw 15 for the Rumble. they should just replace Rosey and Jamal with Raven and D-Lo Brown and find a way for Steven Richards. If you're gonna have a weak lineup then at least put in some people who would bust their ass and try for a change.
-
I think it'd be a hell of a lot better to put Austin On Smackdown. He can feuds with Angle, Benoit, Lesnar, Guererro (which was starting at the time he left). If they were to put him on Raw he has to be a heel. He could feud with Booker T, RVD, Jericho, or Steiner.
-
That's right ANGLE....I have the WMXII tape here and Fuji is definitely waving the American Flag with Yokozuna.
-
This garbage last night didnt even deserve a 0.9 rating. The only reason they got a 2.9 IMO is because everyone tuned in to see who was gonna make a surprise visit. They should have named that show RAW V Anniversary since it basically only covered the last 5 years at the most, with most of the clips being from the last 2-3 years......A Horrible piece of trash that was a waste of everybodys time.
-
uuum....Triple H is awful as a face.....he's awful as a heel too <_< , but a little better as one. I agree the Rock should turn heel cause he's much better in the role of the arrogant ass that thinks he's better than everyone, but if you're gonnna do a double turn with the Rock do it with Jericho. I think it would be a perfect recipe for a hot feud which is fresh with the sides switching.
-
heres another one.....The Iron Sheik.....i don't ever remember him being face as well as Cowboy Bob Orton
-
Jamie Knoble was a face after he left the Jung Dragons............How about Ivan Koloff
-
Brock Lesnar's NExt Big Thing t-shirt.....and Chris Benoit's Rabid Wolverine t-shirt with the retarded wolf on the front.....dont ask why i got it

I would say the Bret "This is Bullshit" promo right before WMXIII. That was the first time i believe that profanity was aired without being censored on WWF programming. Everything about that promo was awesome from Bret Shoving Vince to the mat, to Bret going on his foul mouthed tirade about everyone's screwing him. The thing about that promo that topped it off and make it great was Austin on the Titantron cutting Bret off and going off on him for losing the match. "It could have been you and me for the WWF title in the main even at wrestlemania, but you bleeeeeeew it Bret"....Awesome stuff Another promo i thought was great was actually one of those pre-ppv intro promos. No Way Out 2000 where Cactus Jack in a distant voice talks about how he's not ready to step away yet, and it ended with......... "100's of stiches, thousands of injuries, countless nights i've bled. You may think this is a nightmare, but it's MY nightmare......and I decide when i wake up!" Just great stuff there and gave me goosebumps

To say that NWA has produced better TV than RAW every every week is not true at all. I watch both and that low budget show with Sonny Siaki blatantly acting like The Rock and some wonderful jobbers like Rage and David Young with equally dumb storylines as Raw like the Brian Lawler and April with Bruce. Or even the great MR. Wrestling III gimmick which never freakin ends. The only thing that stops NWA from being complete garbage is the X-Division and thats only like 1 or 2 matches a show the most.

I disagree on a few things......If you were in a streetfight with someone and did the rockbottom to them they could easily get the wind knocked out of them or injure their back. It's high impact. Also, the F5 if done in a fight can destroy anybody just like the rockbottom. And if you try to break the fall with your hands you can shatter your wrists. I think the most dangerous legitimate finishers are the ankle lock (but its better if you have the leg grapevined and are laying back cause there's no way to counter it. I also think Tazz's T-Bone Suplex or Tazzmission plex can break someones neck for real. Tajiri's kicks can knock you out 5 seconds into a fight

His song is OK, but i'm sure it'll grow on us. It's just that its completely different from the old one as far as the pace. IT's not bad at all thoug, but they're gonna have to change the video to match with the song. The Countdown can stay though.

good matches of the last decade from your town
LooseCannon25 replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in General Wrestling
Here are my favorite matches i've seen live: Bret/Undertaker vs. Shawn Michels/Diesel at MSG, IN HIGH GEAR '95'....This is the match that Diesel was a tweener and turned fully heel when he nailed Bret and Taker with a chair, and when HBK questioned him he pretended to leave and when HBK turned around he nailed him with the chair too. Awesome stuff. Summer Slam '97' ---- Austin vs. Owen......the match where Austin had his neck broekn by an Owen piledriver. and my favorites : WrestleMania X --- Shawn vs. Razor Ladder Match....The greatest ladder match of all time. WrestleMania X --- Bret vs. Owen........awesome match with a great surprise ending. We were all shocked when Owen pinned Bret for the 1,2,3.
