  1. If you were running the WWE and only one of these guys could win the WWE or World Title in 2003 besides HHH, The Rock, Brock and Austin who would you choose between these guys: 1) Chris Benoit 2) Chris Jericho 3) Booker T 4) RVD 5) Kane Remember, you only have 1 choice. Whos' the most deserving? I would personally pick Benoit because he's over now and he's busted his ass for a long long time.
  2. Ok, i thought it would be interesting to make a topic and ask all of you which one of these WrestleMania cards would get more buys. Now keep in mind of all the marks out there and the big names. Here is the mark's Wrestlemania dream card: Goldberg vs. The Rock HHH vs. Stone Cold vs. Scott Steiner [ World Heavyweight Title Match] Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar [WWE Title Match] Shawn Michaels vs. Kevin NAsh Hulk Hogan vs. Vince McMAhon RVD/Kane vs. Storm/Regal [World Tag Title] Chris Jericho vs. Booker T Dudley Boyz vs. 3MW Team Angle vs. Benoit/Edge [WWe Tag Title] Billy Kidman vs. MAtt Hardy [Cruiserweight Title] Trish vs. Victoria vs. Jazz [Womens Title] Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero Now here's a card that i would personally drool over: Brock vs. Angle [WWE Title] HHH vs. Stone Cold [Heavyweight Title] Vince McMahon vs. Hulk Hogan The Rock vs. Chris Benoit Chris JEricho vs. Shawn Michaels Team Angle vs. Los Guerreros [WWE Tag Titles] Booker T/Goldust vs. Batista/Orton Storm/Regal vs. Dudley Boyz JAzz vs. Victoria [Womens Title] Kane vs. RVD Undertaker vs. Rhyno Ok, number 1 which card do you guys think is better...and number 2, which card gets the most buys?
  3. I'll tell you this........I'd rather see Austin vs. Booker T for the world title instead of Austin vs. HHH XXIV. I dont like what im seeing on RAW but im not gonna tune it out cause i still enjoy guys like Jericho, Booker T, Christian, LAnce Storm, William Regal
  4. I personally think RVD is OK, but i see where a lot of people get annoyed with his work. I love psychology and proper selling in a match. RVD is a good bumb machine but he cant see for shit. I dont care if LAnce Storm didnt previously work on his leg before he put on the half crab, but he had it locked in for a pretty long time. Can RVD at least limp just a tad or favor his leg a little bit instead of frigggin immediately running to the ropes for the Rolling Thunder and jumping all over the place. Another thing, he does the same exact spots in the same damn exact order......it gets really old really quick. For instance RVD has to do that jumping top rope kick at least 2-3 times in the same match. Can we get a little variety? And, the enzigiri miss into the reverse kick has to be done in EVERY single match. YOu can bet your life that these moves will be included in an RVD match. Rolling thunder, standing moonsault splash, enzigiri miss into reverse kick, 2 0r 3 top rope jumping kicks, standing reverse jumping leg drop, and of course the catch the leg into leg lariat.........he needs to incorporate some variety and learn how to talk on the mic. I know everyone here hates HHH, including me, but, at least when hes motivated he incorporates psychology and sells well in a match for his opponent. Did you guys ever think that WWE head people see what RVD really is and dont wanna put their title on a guy like him until he shows variety or improvement instead of the universal "HHH is holding him down" for every talent that doesnt get pushed?
  5. Ithink the version with Luger was the best one as far as the most dominating. However, i think the most unpredictable exciting group was the version with Pillman and Benoit. They were great
  6. Ok, lemme be a little more specific......when i say "Mat" wrestling i mean Benjamin had Brock down for a good minute and a half in a cover position without moving...then Brock reversed it and did the same......This looked like a standard high school wrestling match. Truthfully, Brock spent a TON of time lying down on the mat from the beginning so there have been something wrong with him last night. It seems like he was off his feet 95% of the time
  7. I personally dont like brawling. But, it's different when the fans are pissed and feel ripped off to begin with and are chanting "boring" during the mat wrestling. They wanted some excitement. I was enjoying it and surprisingly enough so was my girl. I think she was actually enjoying looking at brock more though
  8. I completely agree with you Bob. The crowd was already pissed that HHH wasnt gonna wrestle. We were ALL ready for that match. I usually like to see mat wrestling, but under last nights circumstances they should have had some brawling, and working the crowd.
  9. I went to the MSG house show last night also as i live in NJ and i wanna add a few things. ----- The report of their being 6,000 is waaaaaay off. I would say there was more like 9,000 - 11,000 people there. ----- D-Lo was actually very entertaining as he recieved a lot of heel heat and interacted with the crowd well. ----- Christian was priceless. He was hilarious with his antics and his heel heat was top 3 for the night. ----- When Test's music played the crowd popped big, but when they realized there was no Stacy that ended quickly. Worst face reaction of the night goes to Test. Actually Jericho got more face heat than Test. And i mean ALOT more. ----- When Team Angle came out to face Brock i would say Brock was in with Benjamin for about 8 minutes and they mostly mat wrestled, but the crowd seemed to be bored by it. Then Brock was in there with Haas for about 3-4 minutes as Haas only worked the leg. To be honest Brock and Angle were in their for only a few minutes and for almost half of the time angle had the ankle lock on Brock as soon as he got in the ring. I wouldnt call it a match at all with Brock vs. Angle. Both guys got a few moves in and thats it. Biggest Pops: 1)Brock Lesnar 2)RVD 3)Booker T 4)Scott Steiner 5)Dudley Boys Biggest Heat: 1)Triple H 2)Chris Jericho 3)Christian 4)Storm/Regal 5)Rico Best match of the night: Storm/Regal vs. Dudley Boys (the crowd was into the whole match and there was some good action) 3)
  10. That part i absolutely agree with and thats the thing that bothers me about him. But, if Vince wanted him to do it he had to do it......that's vince's fault for not bringing out Taker or HHH. With all of that being said maybe he decided recently he wanted to do movies full time. I'll tell you this though ......if he goes for a few years and they bomb and he gets no new offers and he thinks he can just come back to WWE when times are tough he can kiss my ass if he thinks i'm gonna do anything else except boo the hell out of him.
  11. So, what you guys are saying is if you had a chance to go and do movies for $5 million and beyond for shooting scens for a few months, or get your ass kicked night in and night out for not even close to that amount you would pick wrestling over movies? Whoever says yes to that question is a friggin moron and full of shit.
  12. Stacy is thin so that means she throws up everything? what an ignorant dumb statement to make. I guess the 6 six pack she has on her stomach comes from allt he work it does when she pukes huh? There are a few things called high metabolism and exercising. Anyway, i think nidia looks good, god forbid shes got a few curves. And i also agree that if Stephanie is gonna have an on air role she needs to be held to the same standards, and why i think stephanie looks good also shes gained some poundage and is easily heavier than nidia. I'd bang both of em though in a heartbeat
  13. uuuum......so now you're comparing Brock to Albert anglesault? <_<
  14. I think some of you guys are forgetting that this guy is very young and still new to this somewhat. You jump all over the guy DESPITE him being very over with the crowd now. You talk about The Rock how charismatic he is and stuff, i dare anyone here to say that they saw how much charisma Rock had when he was Mr. Maivia. If anyone says they saw it back then they'd be full of shit. MY point is give the guy time, he's already over....he's not bad in the ring and will only get over, and the mic skills will come. We all love Benoit here and all of a sudden we're all gonna pretend like he posseses the charisma and mic skills that Brock doesnt have? Give me a break. And it's not fair to compare the wonderful smackdown six to him cause he uses a power style. Give the guy some time and stop friggin complaining about everyone that gets pushed.
  15. Could his debut possibly look any stupider...nothing to do with Raven as i like the guy, but how dumb did it look that he evenflowed Jarrett in front of the whole TNA tradition roster...they were just standing there like stupid morons even after he was just staring at Jarrett on the ground. Terrible
  16. Well here's what I would do: I would have had HBK in the final four along with Brock, Jericho, and Matt Hardy as the darkhorse who might win it. I would have had Jericho eliminate HBK cleanly and then HBK come back superkick jericho in the mouth and have Brock eliminate him. That would make HBK seem like a jack-ass and could lead to me doing a doubleturn with JEricho and HBK. I just thing HBK is better suited as a heel and Jericho could be the top face of the company if pushed right. I'd keep Scott Steiner around for a while, but turn him heel and have him in some hardcore brawls to cover up for the lack of wrestling he has now. I'd keep the split and center RAW around Jericho, Booker T, RVD, Kane, Steiner, and HHH....and center smackdown around Brock, Benoit, Angle, Edge, Rock, and Matt Hardy. I'd also bring the U.S Title to Raw and bring back the I.C. Title to Smackdown, and after i did that try my best to make the 2 brands seem like 2 different companies even if it means changing the name of Smackdown to another company name like WCW or whatever. After that i would have each brand with it's own PPV's every month and have absolutely no interaction between them.
  17. I dont agree about austin being a star by the time of the King Of The Ring. Austin was a midcarder at best with not much crowd reaction by the time the KOR rolled around. The Austin 3:16 saying originated on that show and solidified him as a badass.
  18. at WMIII the singlet was for the backbrace and Andre also had on a girdle to hide the excess gut he had gotten.
  19. Its funny how D-Lo came out in thug wear for a few weeks......are we dumb folk supposed to figure out by that that he is now a black man?
  20. If i'm not mistaken i believe he flips a coin to see........he puts so much damn thought into it i tell ya
  21. D-Lo is staaaaaaale.....he's done this already! IS that all they could come up with him.....a racist gimmick just because he's black. Anybody notice that if you're black and in the WWE your quota is to be in a t least one racism or stereotypical gimmick. D-Lo, Godfather and Kama, Mark Henry, The Rock, Faarooq, Ahmed Johnson, D-Von Dudley, K-Kwik...the list goes on and on
  22. Romanowski is not weird...he's just a total dickhead. but good to hear about Droz again....... HEEEEES GONNA, HES GONNA PUKE, HEEEEEEEEES GOOOONNA PUUUUUUUKE!
  23. I agree Mighty......A booking committee would probably be very good. How about having former wrestlers like Dean Malenko book. They have to be much more in touch with the fanbase than some soap opera writers who know nothing about wrestling.
  24. To get this company to turn around the McMahons need to cease control of the booking. Everyone has their faults though....Paul Heyman overbooks sometimes, Eric Bischoff is only interested in the big name stars, Jim Cornette might be a little too oldschool. Who the hell would do the booking?
  25. Well, what you guys are saying is the truth. Vince couldn't possibly be anymore out of touch with the fans. Time to pass it on to Shane....then again if Shane was in charge Test would probably get the Diesel treatment holding the World, WWE, and tag team titles at the same time. I actually think JR has a lot to do with this shit too. He's a hoss pimp and everyone he talks good about gets pushed.
