I'm a Mets fan, and I'm kind of wondering why Al Leiter or Braden Looper didn't make the team. Glavine makes the team and has a 2.16 ERA/ Leiter has a 2.12 ERA with the league hitting .188 against him, and doesn't make it Braden Looper has a 1.97 ERA and didn't make it either.

Ortiz wasn't on the ballot. That's exactly my point...... It should be a different process. They should still have voting for the all stars, but they shouldn't be obligated to start the game. If you wanna vote in a guy hitting .239 then go ahead, as long as he sits on the bench for the first 5 innings or so I don't have a problem with it. Just let more deserving players at least have a chance.

I'm definitely picking up The Butterfly Effect and UFC 46. For anyone that hasn't seen the Butterfly Effect, I would highly recommend it.

Giambi making the All Star team is a travesty......especially starting in front of David Ortiz.

MMA Comments that Don't Warrant a Thread

Wasn't Mario Sperry supposed to be on this card? Cro-Cop sure is taking some cans to get his confidence back isn't he? -
MMA June PPV Double-Shot II~!

Randy Couture ranked #13 is ridiculous to me. To me P4P he's at LEAST a top 5 guy. -
Thanks a lot man..........I've been trying to get to the last boss for like 18 years now, and you just ruined it for me.

Dumb and Dumberer Even though Carrey and Daniels weren't in it I thougth it'd have the same type of humor. The first movie had me laughing hysterically, but htis movie.....uuuuugh. Horribly unfunny. Just so damn corny.

I have the original Colliseum Home Video one. Let me know

yeah, not for nothing, but that was a pretty silly point. You can't knock a perfect game no matter what the lineup is. Now, if it was a little league team he did it against there would be a point, but the Twins were still a Major League lineup. Cmon now

Mike Martz has proved that he is not a very good in game strategy coach. I remember last year in the season opener the Rams trailt he Giants by a field goal. The Rams are easily in field goal range and Martz decides to go for it on 4th and 10 instead of just tying the game......ugh.......an example of how bad is coaching is. Yes, that was the year Bonilla challenged a teammate to a fight in front of the media. If my memory serves me correct he wanted to fight Joe Orsulak

I saw the whole Wlad fight. He was doing well but what I noticed is that every single time he gets hit with a power punch on the face he gets dazed and rocked. His chin is weak as hell, and i've never seen anyone run out of gas like that. The ref had to stop the fight cause the guy could barely freakin walk and couldn't even keep his eyes open. Unbelievable how far he has fallen.

I'd say the MEts as well, only, it's not the 2001-2003 Mets because they had a blimp who was always injured, a guy (Burnitz) who could never get the job done in NY, and Alomar who was a shock. My Mets team I would say were the 1993 Mets. Bobby Bonilla, Eddie Murray were signed. They had the highest payroll. All they did was go 59-103 and were officially called The Worst Team Money Can Buy

The Mets didn't get slaughtered in the subway series damnit. Every game was close and competetive. My favorite moment of course was The Buckner blunder. Besides that, It was 99 and the Mets were losing 9-1 to Atlanta in the bottom of the 8th. They came all the way back to tie the game at 9 and Piazza hit a laser of a homer to give them the lead and eventually the win.

It looks like they're trying to make Rene Dupree a big player right now. They don't want him to lose cleanly right now. At least that's the vibe I get from it.

When Was Time You Cared About The Tag Belts?
LooseCannon25 replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Raw ---- The last time i was into it was when the LOD was trying to get the titles from The New Age Outlaws. They failed several times, but one night on Raw they finally did it. That was the last time. Smackdown ---- The good times of Los Guerreros vs. Edge/Rey vs. Benoit/Angle -
Any ideas of where Tajiri/Coach is going?
LooseCannon25 replied to JoeDirt's topic in The WWE Folder
Knowing WWE, all of a sudden you'll see Coach managing Tajiri for no reason. -
Besides, they would have to sign new talent for an ECW revival. I don't think there's enough talent to spread through 3 seperate brands.

Wait a minute, didn't Matt Hardy turn face a few weeks ago. Well, not turn face, but he played face against Lance Storm on Heat? I'm confused

RRR, I completely agree with you. I, for one, am also not a Randy Orton hater. I think with some omore work and time he can be real good. The promo Foley delivered monday was fantastic and Orton's reaction to it was great as well. You can see Orton knew he was biting off more than he could chew. It's the classic case of young punk having no respect for the legendary veteran. You WANNA see Orton get his ass handed to him. Also, I think that RKO to end the match at WMXX was beautiful, out of nowhere and popped the crowd big time.

The Rock-Shamrock chairshot is still one of the sickest I've ever seen. That was not protected AT ALL. That Rock chairshot on Ken Shamrock was absolutely sick. It was kinda cool to see cause Shamrock was kneeled down telling Rock to give it to him. The Rock swung the damn chair like he was in a home run derby and the smack was so loud. He hit him right on the forehead with the damn thing. How about Undertaker's nasty chairshot on Maven after he got eliminated from the Royal Rumble 02. that was pretty sick as well

I cannot believe......that nobody has mentioned Missy Elliot and her fuckin awful lyrics.......her shit is so bad she makes shit up just to fill up a verse. Is it worth it, let me work it I put my thing down, flip it and reverse it Ti esrever dna ti pilf, nwod gniht ym tup I Ti esrever dna ti pilf, nwod gniht ym tup I If you got a big dick, let me search it To find out how hard I gotta work ya Ti esrever dna ti pilf, nwod gniht ym tup I Ti esrever dna ti pilf, nwod gniht ym tup I what the fuck is that? Also, listen to Lil Kim's album as someone said and I dare anyone to find a song that isnt a blatant ripoff from another hip-hop song within the last 10 years. Not only does she rip off the lyrics, but she goes ahead and takes the beats in many cases, the flow, and rapping style of the person she bit off of.

Edward Norton's rant from 25th Hour is awesome. He's a tremendous actor...here's mine: Freddie Heflan --- "there's gotta be a way out of this for everyone....I say why don't we all go in together and......." Ray Donnelan ---- "Freddy....i invited, men...cops. Good men to live in this town, and these men who make a living, cross the bridge every day to a place where everything is upside down....where the cop is the perp, and the perp is the victim. The only thing they did, was to get their families out....before it got to them. We made a place where things make sense, where you can walk across the street without fear. And you come to me with a plan to set things right. Everyone in the city holding hands, singing we are the world. Thats Very nice....but Freddy your plan is the plan of a boy. You MADE IT ON A BACK OF A MATCHBOOK, WITHOUT THINKING.......WITHOUT LOOKING AT THE CARDS! I look at the cards...I see this town....destroyed. Now that's not what you want is it. Freddie ---- "I look at this town, and i dont like what I see anymore Ray ---- "Who the fuck do you think you are" ----Harvey Keitel from Copland-----

Fuck Austin....seriously........freakin guy basically refuses to sell to ANY young talent whatsoever. What he did to Dupree was disgusting, making him look like a total bitch. The guy isn't even a wrestler and he goes over everyone. That's like putting Foley over everyone every single week when he was a commish.
