I didn't remember people chanting "Boring" at the beginning of the match, but maybe that's because my brain cells were boiling inside that god-forsaken Schmidt Center.

I got a feeling that Davis goes before Tiki in our draft. Another problem too, is that I pick 8th, and the only people that are keeping 2 RB's pick 9, 11, & 12 I believe, so in worse case scenario 6 RB's will probably go before I get a shot at one. But I would love for Davis to fall to me. Anybody heard about the off-season workouts of T.J. Duckett & Michael Bennett? I heard that Duckett has lost about 15 pounds, and a Minnesota radio man said that Bennett is running well. The problem with both is how deep both backfields are, so I don't think I can use a 1st round pick on either (Actually 3rd round since we keep 2)

Would it have bothered you as much if the Yankees would have won that game?

My roster from last year was this: QB: Donovan McNabb QB: Matt Hasselbeck QB: David Carr RB: Deuce McAllister RB: Tiki Barber RB: Jerome Bettis RB: Mike Cloud WR: Donald Driver WR: Ashley Lelie WR: Chris Chambers WR: Darrell Jackson WR: Jimmy Smith WR: Johnnie Morton So I really have no 2nd RB to keep and while I thought I had a great WR corps, many of them were VERY disappointing.

Do guys really think Cal can hang in the Top 10 throughout the year. i don't really know who is back, but I do know they lost their RB Echemandu.

You're dead on with the Cardinals, and re-signing Renteria better be the number one priority.

I still remembering during the draft, watching Vince drop and drop, thinking damn he's gonna go to the Patriots and they didn't even have to trade up. If Ahman Green is going to get 2,000 he going to have to get some extra sweat bands for the arms. Really though, I do think he has a pretty good chance.

On the radio today, a Reds TV commentator was talking about how he saw nothing in Wily Mo Pena being a good OF at the major league level. While Wily Mo is not a superstar yet, I also felt the same way. So my question is (and going both ways) what players did you think would never be that good at the pro level had good-great careers and vice versa?

Thats odd, as I am about 45 miles from Cincinnati and we have it, and no it doesn't make any sense. AK, that will be an interesting scenario with Bret Boone. I hope there are no takers to see if they would release him, likely triggering a battle between the union and the Mariners.

Yeah, heaven forbid that a park has to wait 10-15 years for an All-Star game. It's great that the only way Pittsburgh can bring people in (in theory) is to get an All-Star game.

I guess I should also add I am a little bitter at McNabb because after his 2002 season (17 TD's passing, 6 rushing), he kind of had a subpar fantasy year, and I let a running back go who in 2002 had about 1,100 yards but only 5 TD's. Damn what was his name....... I think he played for the Ravens. The real problem with our league is that with 12 teams and 2 keepers, 24 guys are already gone, and I believe 15 will be RB's. Therefore RB 17-20 may not be worth my pick at #8 in the "first round", but then you have no one left. Hasselbeck & Darrell Jackson combo was a good one that I had last year.

In a perfect world McClatchy is fired before the 2006 All-Star game.

Race angle???? But when I watched my WM XIX DVD the other day in the preview package they didn't show the race angle. Oh wait, that's because like the Katie Vick angle, when HHH did something that was universally panned, it was cut from everyone's memory by the time the PPV came around. Booker T, maybe on SD! as a heel champ, but even then it probably would not pick up steam. I truly believe the Undertaker buried Booker more than HHH.

It's pretty telling how successful the sequels were since the first one made 80-85 million and the other six combined made barely double that. I agree 100% on the "new ideas" theory, it just may work!

Have any coaches ever gone from Super Bowl to a NCAA title? If so I'll see somebody in the MILFhunter.com Bored Bowl. And if not I'll settle for some Adam & Eve's Anal Lube......

It's sad becuase as a Bengals fan, I couldn't even fake myself into thinking Akili was going to be a franchise QB. BTW, what was your thinking back in 1999 on Tim Couch.
-
Yeah I would be pretty shocked if they could move Robinson, who probably won't be able to be unloaded until his last year of contract so teams can get some cap space. I agree on Dalembert, kind of a Ben Wallace model. I don't see why Kings fans are bemoaning the Ostertag signing that much, it's not like he is going to play significant time or cost you guys 36 million dollars!

You're right Baseball-reference is great, i usually check there in a new Internet Explorer window before I post my thoughts, if there is any historical facts.

Just like last night, no win seems to come too easily. And after today that Reds-Cubs series is going to be huge.
-
I am surprised the Jets are ahead of a team like the Bengals. Especially when you consider quality of play for the AFC East v. AFC North. I am surprised the lowest odds are at 7-1, but I guess that has to be done to get people to bet this early.

Bruiser, you are dead on about Tony Womack. He had Reggie Sanders have been huge additions to the Cards. Womack always seems to find a way on base, which can give Renteria more variety of what he can do at the plate. And with Sanders, his numbers, primarily at the #6 spot have been huge. An interesting note about the playoffs, last year every series that had an NL team in it, the team with home field advantage lost.

I'm sure they may not get as much ad revenue, but I wonder when on free TV, why they don't go the soccer route and have every 7-10 minutes sponsored by somebody.
-
I would. A team that should have been one of the top two or three teams in the NL all year long sneaking in as a wild card should be viewed as disappointing. I say given the last two World Series, the Cubs would be just as happy to get into the Wild Card.
-
Really though, with the WC, I don't think we can label the Cubs as disappointing, as long they get in.

HHH/Rock '98 this ain't.
