When I was substituting a HS history class in May I had a girl complaining to some guy about people staring at her. Of course she was wearing shorts that said "Hottie" on her ass. When I questioned her on it her reply was that they "were cool".

Anyone watching SportsCenter? It appears the Braves have clinched the division as much as they are blowing them.

I gotta think due to Ostertag's size he will make a little more than the league minimum. Is he worth it? That's another story......

That fucker hit Edmonds again, and it was his last batter.
-
Thanks for adding about 5 more pages to this Lawler.

Pena was basically a joke of the Reds front office ineptitude and ownerships cheapness, as he had no business on the big league roster last season, but the Reds were out of options on Wily Mo. But I'll say I am getting full on the Wily Mo crow pie.

Well that wasn't exactly Gone With the Wind. Those ladies sure seemed concerned as they shuffled out of Bischoff's office.

That Jericho is quite a rascal. It's sad that Jericho has to make a segment good that involves 10 scantily clad women.

Regal just saved this quarter hour! Good moment here.

HHH better call Randy Orton out on his crying too.....

Edmonds 2 run HR draws the ire of Zambrano and catcher Michael Barrett, and brought the teams out for a sing-a-long. Beat me to it FS, but yes interesting situation especially as much shit Zambrano was talking as Edmonds rounded the bases.

So is Big Sid gonna make a run at Mike Maroth's numbers last year? This would be 13 if he loses tonight right?
-
Zambrano probably could not have had much worse of an inning without giving a run.

I thought the Rams made a mistake taking Torry Holt at #6 in the '99 Draft instead of Troy Edwards. I'm fired.

I've gone through 2 pairs of pants already.

So since these are the last two regular season meetings between the Cards-Cubs i predict in the next two games we'll get another LaRussa-Baker incident, they usually average two to three every season, and I think they've only had one so far.

Great point, earlier in the day the same guy (Chris Welch FSN Ohio) commented the same thing about Homer Bailey. Bailey was the USA Today Player of the Year and a "can't miss" but he also mentioned a few of the other Reds pitching prospects who were can't miss as well, to the point I don't remember both their names! I have to admit to I was in the same boat with Manning/Leaf.

I think Julius Jones and Tatum Bell will both be productive for their teams in the next few years. I think the criticism of the Jones pick could serve for great motivation for him as well.

Craig was the man. First 1,000 rushing/1,000 receiving yards back in NFL history. PLus, it was IMPOSSIBLE to bring him down by the legs. I miss the old 49ers of the mid to late 80s. Hell yeah man, I hated the Niners for obvious reasons (SB's XVI & XXIII) but Craig & Tom Rathman were awesome.

Mike I gotta admit, I don't agree with you on everything, but I do admire that you do your homework, and stand up for your stances. Although crediting and discrediting this movie seems just back and forth banter. However, I guess since Michael Moore trys to portray this as documentary it is allowed to dig deeper into points made.

It pains me to say as a Bengals fan I thought the top 3 RB's were 1. Kevin Jones 2. Stephen Jackson 3. Chris Perry But I guess I have less personnel experience. Anyway, with Faulk, I just hope he can balance wanting to continue to play versus what he wants to do post-NFL.

With Prior being a question mark, do you think the Cubs will make a late run in the Randy Johnson sweepstakes? In the D-Backs-Cubs-Red Sox trade scenario, the D-Backs would essentially be picking up the Cubs prospects anyway. I just question whether Nomar's bat will be able to put the Cubs over the top.

Well, there was that big inning; 4-0 Reds.
-
Pretty good pitching matchup today between Lidle & Marquis in Cincinnati. 1-0 Reds right now, but Marquis keeps finding ways to get runners on base. the Reds may be due for a big inning.

You think he'll be able to cut half of the games he gets after the appeal, or will it be just one of those "playing until the appeal hearing". I am just not sure if he gets any games reduced due to how close the bats were to hitting the umps.
