The Official TSM Mock NFL Draft

Remember too that the 42 pick now belongs to Denver, and the 43 goes to Tennessee for Justin McCareins.

The Official TSM Mock NFL Draft

With the 35th selection in the NFL Draft the NY Giants select: Rashun Woods, WR Oklahoma State The Giants "seem" to have good playmakers on offense, but they cannot get the ball in the end zone. Rashun Woods would have been a first-rounder most years. He is not the biggest, or fastest, but Woods has a good chance to become a big-time playmaker in the NFL.

The 2004 Stanley Cup Playoffs thread

Well I slept through Dallas-Colorado, but it appears there were no surprises tonight. BTW it was hilarious how we already had our next Giguere 2 periods into the first game. How'd that end up Nashville. Thanks a lot for living up to everybody's standards around here ESPN crews.

The Official TSM Mock NFL Draft

Well I still am having a tough time at being technological, so no picture. With the 27th overall selcetion, the Tennessee Titans select: Vince Wilfork, DT Miami (FL) Tennessee is having a tough time with the salary cap right now, so they are probably in a "best player available" scenario. After losing DE Jevon Kearse and DT Robaire Smith this off-season, Wilfork will step in and help immediately, as long as he can keep his weight in check. Along with Albert Haynesworth, Wilfork should be able to plug up the middle, giving a little more freedom for the LB's.

    NFL 1st Round picks

Yeah Baltimore has been amazing, and of course you can add Ray Lewis & Johnathan Ogden to the list. I saw on a Sportscenter back in December that of Baltimore's 8 Pro Bowler's last year, 7 were 1st round picks. Nice work Ozzie & personnel dept.

    NFL 1st Round picks

Cincinnati Bengals 2003: Carson Palmer - Well he took ZERO snaps so I guess he does not get a real grade. Grade: Incomplete 2002: Levi Jones - Mel Kiper loved to slam Cincy for taking him too high, but it was a pretty good pick for the Bengals because they felt if they traded down they could not get him. Levi is one of the fastest tackles in the NFL, but he still needs a little more "polishing". Grade: B 2001: Justin Smith - He had 8.5 sacks his rookie year and his totals went down each year. Part of it is due to the Bengals poor DT's forcing the smaller Smith into double teams's. Grade: B- 2000: Peter Warrick - PDub has gotten progressively better, as a punt returner and WR. However a lot of that is due to Chad Johnson lining up opposite him. He will have a pretty big year in 2004, but you do draft for a #2 WR with the fourth overall pick. Grade: C+ 1999: Akili Smith - Why waste time, terrible OL, did not let him develop for a good amount of time, and oh yeah, one of the biggest busts in draft history. Currently out of the league. Grade: F

    If you were the commish

I tried to do a Nascar one, but he erased it on me and I was too lazy. AMEN though, NASCAR is pussifying their sport with all these threats of big fines. The best example was last week at Bristol. Matt Kenseth and Jamie McMurray's interviews were pointless. These guys are racing over 150 mph's, racing for more money and a place in the points standings, you can't tell me they can't be a little upset when somebody spins them out. I also would get rid of the 5 points for leading a lap. I just think they are pointless points. I also would simplify the points. You finish in 1st place, you get 43 points, second 42 points, etc. The 43rd car gets one point.

    OAO 2004 MLB Games Thread

For the Reds it will be just like last year. Can the OF stay healthy and will the starters be able to eat up enough innings so the relief pitchers won't be logging too many innings by June? C'mon Cards, bring out the bats.
  12. Brilliant move by WCW. I mean the tag match was great and had a lot of heat, but why take the belts off of the Horsemen? Just to have the cruiserweight tag title match be between the tag champs?

    Summerslam 1992 Question

I only remember it being on Prime Time Wrestling. I don't think it made any videos though. Flair won after Scott Hall interfered. I really can't remember match quality.

While I like the 16 team format, and that it is better than 16 out of 21 teams, you could make an argument that there are about 4-6 too many teams in the league. I think every series except Detroit-Nashville will be very competitive.

    If you were the commish

True, that is a good point, you can really tell in some teams sputtering in neutral until OT.

The Official TSM Mock NFL Draft

If Taylor fell down to the #17 spot, I would cry a river of tears of joy. I wish the Bengals would trade up for him, but I assume he goes no lower than that 6 spot.

    If you were the commish

I too support ther dancing rule. In hockey, part of me would like to eliminate a point for ties. It just seems like teams are playing too conservative with about 10 minutes left in the game and look like they are just playing to get into OT so they get at least a point.

The Official TSM Mock NFL Draft

Well I better make this pick before 7:38 am, and this wasn't easy but damnit I am a TSM team player. With the fourth overall pick in the 1st round, the NY Giants select: Robert Gallery OT, Iowa OVERVIEW Former tight end who found a home at right offensive tackle … Carried on the family tradition of wearing the Iowa uniform, as his brother, Nick, was an All-Big Ten Conference punter for the Hawkeyes from 1993-96, and a younger brother, John, is a teammate and reserve punter (2001-present) … The team captain earned numerous accolades for his performances during the 2003 season, including winning the Outland Trophy as the nation's best interior lineman … The unanimous All-America first-team selection was rated the best prospect for the 2004 NFL Draft and received the highest rating of any offensive lineman (perfect 9.0 score) since Southern California's Tony Boselli (8.8 score) in 1995, by The NFL Draft Report … The Big Ten's Offensive Lineman of the Year has also excelled in the team's weight room, winning Iron Hawk Award honors in 2003, along with earning the Hayden Fry "Extra Heartbeat" Award … He also excels in the class room, being named to the Big Ten's Academic All-Conference squad as a senior … Has not allowed a quarterback sack in his last 36 games.

    April Fools Pranks

Wouldn't that be a little mean to do to 7 year olds? Make sure to eat it slowly by the way. I guess the joke was on me, they were never even good enough to be even enticed my candy. Oh well, the school loves my policy of stopping them in the hall if they are talking. They missed 5 minutes of gym today because they just couldn't get it. BTW could that teacher be anymore stupider? She fell for it twice?

The OAO NHL 2003-2004 Season Thread

Well the St. Louis/Nashville/Edmonton triumverate are all at 89 points right now, with a St. Louis-Nashville match-up this weekend. I guess Edmonton will have to win and hope for either a tie in the STL-NSH game or hope that one of the teams loses their last two games in regulation, should be an interesting three days, but unfortunately I think Edmonton is the odd team out.

    Sedatives Question

Mine was a IV as well. The surgeon wanted me to count down from 50 backwards. I got down to 48. I woke up in the waiting room and proceeded to walk around like a newborn gazelle for the next ten minutes. Don't remember any bad effects right afterwards though.
