    Clusterfuck Predictions

The Main Event - SWF World Heavyweight Championship Match El Luchadore Magnifico © vs. JJ Johnson ~ ELM's good, but I have to root for 3J here. Just because he's 3J -=-=-THE CLUSTERFUCK-=-=- 1. "Hollywood" Spike Jenkins 2. Laberinto ~ Possibly. 3. "The Rage" Jason von Dierch 4. Stryke 5. Manson 6. Christian Fury ~ I'd mark. 7. Ghost Machine V. 2.0 8. The 70's Dude 9. Wes Davenport ~ Really, really good chance. 10. Todd Cortez 11. Matt ??? Myers (go wild) 12. Candace "The Joshi Dragon" Okimura 13. Kevin Coyote 14. The Crimson Skull 15. Landon "La Cucaracha" Maddix ~ Also a good bet. 16. Bruce Blank 17. "The Icon" Max King 18. Zyon ~ You can do it! 19. TORU Takahara 20. Tim Dillon SWF International Championship Match Jay Hawke © vs. Wildchild ~ Could go either way, but Hawke has a goddamn deathgrip on that thing so I'll pick him to retain. SWF Ultraviolent Championship Match - Japanese Deathmatch - Best of Five Bruce Blank © vs. "The Divine Wind" Akira Kaibatsu ~ Theories point towards Akira pulling this one as Bruce is in the CF, but who knows. SWF FROST Pre-PPV Extravaganza Blowout Extreme to the MAX! Singles Match Michael Cross vs. Ced Ordonez ~ The newbie to show us his or her stuff. I say his or her cause I dunno about the writer and people wonder about my goddamn gender enough. Additional Clusterfuck Match Predictions: How many will actually turn in a match? ~ I'll bet around four. Who will be the MVP of the Clusterfuck? (You know, the guy that lasts almost the whole match but doesn't end up winning.) ~ If he doesn't win it, Fury. Or possibly another like Max King. I'd laugh if someone did it to Myers.

    Smarkdown Discussion

The lack of participation from ANYONE in the battle royale makes me a sad ferret. Except for Fury, who was nice enough to tell me he couldn't get anything in, I got nothing. From anyone. Disappointment~!
  3. Undisclosed Building Sydney, Australia 3:00pm They always made it a habit to visit this place on occasion, both of them. The ring was dusty and old, the turnbuckles were missing pads, and one of the ropes had snapped, but surprisingly the little place was still used by what many would call the younger generation. Once there had been a wrestling school here, and it was here that Terrence Bailey had learned the tricks of the trade. And it had been here that the big Australian had also shown the first inklings of something hat would not unleash itself until many months after his training, when a chance encounter with a group now long dead had brought out the demon within, a demon that was never content to sleep for long. In the spirit of the Roman god, they had called it Janus. The sound of the building's rusty old doors creaking open and closed again bring the seven foot giant out of his reverie, and with his hands tucked deep in the pockets of his white trenchcoat he glances absently over his shoulder. There's a brief pause, and then he turns around entirely, crossing his arms over his chest instead. The three people standing there are of Asian descent, this much he can tell, and they are wearing matching business suits and glasses as if it were a bad Yakuza film. The silence that spreads through the former wrestling school is almost palpable as no one seems willing to speak, until one of the Japanese figures bows slightly and addresses the tall Australian. "Terrence Bailey, am I correct?" "Maybe." "Terrence 'Janus' Bailey?" Somewhere in the back of Terrence's mind, the darkness shifts and uncurls like a striking snake, watching. "What do you want?" is his only reply. In return, the individual who had spoken steps out from between his comrades, walking down the aisle between the disused chairs towards the giant. No words are spoken this time, as he brings an envelope from the pocket of his suit jacket and holds it out to the big man. Terrence - and arguably his other half - study the envelope for a long moment before taking it from the unnamed Asian. It bears his name on the front, complete with his 'middle' name, and he turns the envelope over to peel it open. A faint creak catches his ears and he looks up to find his mysterious visitors have departed just as quickly as they'd arrived. It brings him pause for a moment, and then he pulls the letter from the envelope and unfolds it. And if there were any argument that Janus was paying attention, it was easily dispelled now as the voice of the Hell Machine made the grey matter between his temples vibrate. It's for both of us. Who addresses letters to both parts of someone with a mental disorder? "Someone who's a nutjob? Don't ask me, I mean..." Pot talking to the kettle. Just read the damn thing. "Dear Terrence.... and Janus. I hope this letter finds both of you in as good of health as it is possible for you to be. You are being sent this letter due to your relations with ex-employees of our organisation... is this from the SWF or something?" No official logo. Keep going. "I'm getting to it. Jesus. Keep patient and shut up." Patience is your virtue, not mine, Terrence. "I said shut UP." the big Australian muttered, rubbing his left temple with his free hand. "Due to your relations with ex-employees of our organisation, whom you both encountered during your time in the Smartmarks Wrestling Federation. It is my understanding you recently returned for a single match with this federation, a match that seemed solely geared towards letting Janus indulge in what he does best..." Blank. Oh yes. Yessss... that was simply hellacious chaos. Blood! Violence! Chaos! Destruction! "Stop SHOUTING!" Terrence yelled, his voice echoing around the empty building as he palmed his forehead, grimacing. Sorry. "Right." the big Australian answered, knowing his other side was less than sincere as he finished reading the letter. "...and we are curious to know whether you are interested in eventual work within the SWF again for our organisation. Give it some time and think about it, both of you. We offer you both a place among equals, not subservience as you must to this Federation, or as you were with our two prior employees, Yuuchiro Kaesame or Na..." .... "..." Nathaniel Kibagami. "...god, I hate that name..." ...ahahaha... "We shall be in touch....yours sincerely.... the Inquisitor..." Terrence presses the palm of his head against his forehead and grimaces at the laugh Janus reverberates through his head. He reaches the bottom of the letter and reads the quote inscribed therein, a quote that brings the Hell Machine to silence while his good half simply stares for several moments before crumpling the letter between his great palms and throwing it to the side. It was time to go back home and rest, and think about this. A normal person could simply turn down this strange offer, this request, but those two names had piqued Janus' interest, and that little quote left them with a lot to think about. As they stride together down the aisle and let the door squeak shut behind them as they exit, the letter crumpled on the ground uncrumples a little, just enough to reveal the unsettling four words at the very bottom of the letter. So says the Clan.

    SWF Lockdown Card - 06/01/18

"Since there was no Raynor and no Judge to help me out, much of this card was constructed with the help of the Ferret himself, Janus. All blame for any poor booking may thusly be directed at them" Kayfabe LIVES!

    El Lockdowna Discussiona!

Zyon and J3 both turned in great matches, but when it turned out both matches ended identically, with Mags costing Johnson the victory, it makes the Janus a very, very sad pandaferret. Good showing by both men either way.

    SWF Ramadomination Predictions

The Main Event - SWF World Heavyweight Championship Match El Luchadore Magnifico © vs. "Urban Legend" Todd Cortez ~ Part of me wonders how amusing it is that in the year of long title reigns, the longest title holder is the veteran reputed for holding the title a lot. That said, give it up ELM, it's Cortez's time to shine now -=-=-=-=-=- Loser Leaves the Fed I Quit Match Wild vs. Dangerous ~ This reeks of co-write or jobbing pre-arrangement. REEKS. If it is, Johnny. If it isn't, WC. -=-=-=-=-=- Cold Front Classic Finals: 2/3 Falls JJ Johnson © vs. TORU Takahara © ~ Both extremely good writers, though Toxxic does have the edge of experience despite the new character. The winner is... whomever bribes me the best cause I'm their marker. -=-=-=-=-=- SWF International Championship Match Jay Hawke © vs. Wes Davenport ~ Skilled sensation versus Muzzitude in a clash for the AGES! That said, everybody loves Wesmond. -=-=-=-=-=- Landon Maddix vs. "The Icon" Max King ~ King is still shaking off some rust and Landon is... well... Landon. If his computer doesn't mysteriously explode or something like that, I'll put it to the new and improved technical perfection Chris Cockroach to win. -=-=-=-=-=- SWF Ultraviolent Championship Match - Dog Collar Chain Match Bruce Blank © vs. "The Divine Wind" Akira Kaibatsu ~ Bruce is violent and handy at writing violence. Akira's a decent writing all-rounder. In this case, I'd have to say push, with a leaning towards Blank because he's used to the ultraviolent thing. The graveyard made sure of that. -=-=-=-=-=- Hollywood Spike Jenkins vs. Zyon ~ Spike's got a better handle on writer, but Zyon with his plucky up and coming youngster attitude is primed to win this, I'd like to think. People showing actually makes Jenkins give effort instead of half-assing though, so... eh. Zyon anyway. I can't make the bribery joke twice. -=-=-=-=-=- Opening Bout Kevin Coyote vs. Ced Ordonez ~ Show us what you've got, new guy. Or CED shall end up DDRing on thine spine and that would not be a comfortable experience for you to... experience. Christ, that's as bad as not getting out of the doom house or it'll spell your doom... -=-=-=-=-=--=-=-=-=-=-=- BONUS ATTRACTION! SWF FROST David Blazenwing vs David Blazenwing ~ Who wins? Who in the SWF really cares?

In which we recommend shit to each other

Seconded on both, as Pratchett is love (Death FTW). And I haven't been able to find one anywhere, but has Song of Ice and Fire got a fourth book out yet? It's one of the many serieses that I haven't completed yet. A few recommendations rthat everyone will ignore anyway, so I actually contribute to the thread. Bands Hammerfall Dragon Force Zeromancer Books Otherland, a series by Tad Williams. The Earthsea Quartet by Ursula LeGuin The Obernewtyn Novels by Isobelle Carmody The three Terminator 2 sequel novels (Infiltrator, Rising Storm, Future War) by SM Stirling. They > T3. The Cassandra Kresnov novels by Joel Shepard Movies Riki-Oh/Story of Ricky (great cheesy gorefest, I tell you) The Boondock Saints Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust R.O.D (Read Or Die)

  25. I am completely exhausted from a birthday party and am going to bed. When I wake up, I will send the winner of Spike vs ELM. If I get something from Spike after he wanted his extension. Having said this I predict Spike PMs me moments after I go to sleep.
