  1. Nah, just make a post if you find something offensive and I'll try to help you out.
  2. Because it means different things? All three could either be a positive connotation as in showing friendship or a negative connotation as in showing racism. The difference between nigga and nigger is nigga is usually more associated with being friendly than racism. Yeah, even gay people do this. Saying it doesn't mean you think gays are stupid, it's just a different meaning that doesn't have anything to do with homosexuality anymore. But whether you think it's right or not, you have to realize that the word can mean different things depending on how it's used. I didn't miss it, I just didn't agree with it. I am going to get on my high-horse and tell people they shouldn't be offended by it because they shouldn't.
  3. You should have asked "when is it okay for blacks to use the C-Word?"
  4. Porter, you should be ashamed for bringing common sense into this thread. People should fuck off for telling someone what is or isn't offensive to them. Just because it doesn't offend you (random poster) doesn't mean it can't be offensive to someone else. For example: if WCW had made a reference or joke to Owen's harness malfunctioning, people might be offended by it. Others might not be offended at all. I personally would have thought that it was classless and crass, but not offensive at all. But I certainly wouldn't be online telling those that found it offensive how wrong they were. In the grand scheme of things, I don't think Vince thought it would be offensive, or was looking for publicity over it. It was most likely a joke that he thought would be funny ... and he thought wrong. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Since most people that responded said they laughed, he actually thought right and some of you just need to get a sense of humor. Making fun of someone's real life death is offensive, that's not even remotely comparable to what Vince said. Let's pretend for a minute that it was meaning to be a racist, then it's no different than Kerwin White and heel Teddy Long, and it's foolish to get offended for something a character said in a STORYLINE. It's equivalent to getting offended that HHH hit Flair with a sledgehammer. However as has been pointed out, Vince wasn't even using it in a racist way. It's not like Cena did something stupid and then Vince called him a nigga for it. Did you people even see the segment? He was calling Cena that to try to be friendly with him. The word "nigga" has different meanings, obviously he wasn't implying anything negative against black people, so whoever got offended by it is very fucking stupid.
  5. I froze when I read what Hansel wrote.
  6. Well that could be why you're meh on racism against whites due to something their ancestors did. Maybe you're slightly racist towards whites because of slavery. I'm sure a lot of white racists feel they have good reasons for thinking racism against blacks is meh.
  7. Yes, it's one of those things black people can say, because society has dictated that black people cannot be racist. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Black people can be racist. It's just that blacks never enslaved hundreds of whites, raped their families & hung them on burning crosses. Don't get me wrong, racism is wrong both ways but because of how history has played out, whenever a black person does something that's seen as "racist" towards somebody white it's just meh. Wrong but meh. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are you black by any chance?
  8. Which is a character. Maybe a more exaggerated version of himself, but still a character. It's like being offended that HHH beat up Ric Flair and making a thread saying "I CAN'T BELIEVE HE USED A SLEDGEHAMMER ON A MAN! What's his problem?!"
  9. They should job him out and have him miss Mania, then he could be Rob Vandy Orton, lol lol lol
  10. You don't have a point. Arguing period would be useless. Just admit you didn't think this through enough and move on. It's hilarious watching you defend Pulp Fiction and 50 cent because "It's entertainment!", what do you think pro-wrestling is?
  11. Vince was playing a character too. It's not real, it's all part of a storyline btw. So I guess it's okay.

    My WWE

Thank god you aren't in charge.
  13. From looking at the first two, it doesn't sound like a lot of people are pissed. It sounds like the same situation here. 1 or 2 people are pissed and everyone else is trying to talk sense into them and explain why it wasn't a big deal.
  14. Why? What's the difference? Except he didn't say nigga in Pulp Fiction, he said nigger. So other than that, what's the difference? Well did you make a thread the first time you heard him say it?
  15. Like it makes a fucking difference. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It actually makes a pretty big difference.
  16. Not a rap fan I take it? White and black people say the word nigga a lot. It doesn't have anything to with racism. In ebonics, it's like calling someone buddy. Have you been living in a cave?
  17. Also he tries to legitimize his knee injury as the reason as to why he couldn't wrestle at WrestleMania 13 (which was an awful WrestleMania save for one match). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought this was common knowledge.
  18. Not only that, but Cena is apparently scheduled to keep the title for the MAJORITY of 2006. Vince is nuts. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't you think you're taking these Torch rumors a little too seriously? Knowing Vince, he probably had people tell the Torch that just to piss the internet off.
  19. I could picture him shouting WOOO! while beating up the guy's car. Haha, Flair lives his gimmick.
  20. Why are fans so stupid? They like him but still chant "You suck" at him just to sing along... Since fans have been turning against Cena in just about every PPV match, I think the smart thing to do would be to have him against a face at WM, not a heel. If the main event is HHH vs Cena, they'll both get booed.
  21. I hope that this is all leading to a Cena/RVD match at WM, but I know it's not. Probably something more along the lines of Cena/HHH.
  22. Who did he say that to?
  23. Good ol' Diesel & HBK. Can always count on them for crappy buyrates. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't know, HBK's 1992 buyrate wasn't so bad.
  24. Your "song" that keeps getting played on the radio is one of the worst "songs" I've ever heard in my life. Please make them stop playing it. Thanks.
  25. Happy birthday Van Halen! Since you're 24 today, you should bump 24 threads.
