Here's MY prediction. The Red Sox will shock everyone sweep the Yankees. Then they will face the Chicago Cubs in the World Series. Game 7 of that Series will be played in Fenway park of course. Bottom of the 9th inning, Bases Loaded for the Sox...No outs...Nomar Garciapparra at bat...The Pitch... Suddenly the TV goes haywire and everyone outside of Boston wonders what the hell just happened. Moments later the Special News Update reports that a 8.7 Earthquake leveled the city of Boston and a huge fault opened up right under Fenway swallowing all players, and fans. This, my friends, is a premonition. Just last night there was a 1.7 quake here in Rhode Island. The BIG ONE is coming...

I am hereby boycotting the ALCS after hearing that Joe West will be on the umpire crew! This REEKS of fould play by MLB. Last time West was an umpire for a Red Sox game, he called what would have been a homerun, or at least a double, an out when a fan grabbed the ball. There was clearly no chance the fielder would have cought the ball either. He later said that he would "See you guys in the playoffs" meaning he admittedly holds a personal grudge against Boston, especially Pedro Martinez. West and Martinez have had several altercations in which West would hold Pedro to miniscule strike zones which were blatantly too tight.

Yep. Why? Because EVERYONE is underrating them and their "Lack of Defense". Raycroft is going to show you all what he showed many AHL crowds the past 2 years. Jillson and Morrisson are going to be just fine along with O'donnel and Boynton on defense. Screw Berard!

Yea that was a great game, almost as good as the other one where Boston smoked florida for 14 runs in the first inning... What was the final of that game again?

Well I know I speak for alot of Boston fans here when I say that if we blow this game and get knocked out of the playoffs tonight...I will seriously cry my eyes out. After watching 90% of the games during the season I saw things I have never seen from a baseball team. Things like they just showed and talked about like the team Hugs, and friendship. This team is almost 100% in love with each other...it's absolutely incredible how closely knit this team really is. It would just be very sad for me, and thousands of other Boston Red Sox fans if we blew this game and lost the chance to take on the Yanks in the ALCS.

All I can say is thank god Johnny is OK. Boston needs to win this game for him now. He is by far and away one of the nicest athletes in all of sports and it's sad to see him take a hit like that.
