"Barroom Hero" and "Kiss Me, I'm Shitfaced" by Dropkick Murphys are both about drinking, though in different situations.

That album is fuckign great. I love the monologues in between songs, especially the bit about Nusrat Fati Ali Kahn.

Raven feeding Moppy into the wood chipper still makes me laugh. -

Saturn gets fired for stiffing an indy wrestler, yet Holly goes around working stiff and hurting wrestlers ON VINCE'S FUCKING ROSTER and still has a job. Fire Holly for fuck's sake. Or just have Fit Finlay beat him half to death. Or maybe almost all-the-way to death. -
I wouldn't call Physical Graffitti terrible, but it's not great either. It's the last *GOOD* Zeppelin album, and it's the last album to feature PLant at his best. After Physical Graffitti, Plant went downhill. Fast.

Even Maynard James Keenan's voice can't make that song listenable.

Man, I marked HARD for that.

Great pick-ups. Do You Want More?!!!??! is probably my third favourite Roots album behind Things Fall Apart and the masterful illadelph halflife. Here Comes the Zoo is HANDS DOWN the best Local H album, and one of my favourite rock albums of all-time. "(Baby Wants To) Tame Me" and "What Would You Have Me Do?" are both brilliant and very Zeppelin-esque. The entire album is nearly flawless, if you ask me.

K, you might be the one person here who spends more money on cd's than I. I congratulate you. Anyway, I picked up two today: Letters To Cleo- Aurora Gory Alice Lauryn Hill- The Mis-Education of Lauryn Hill

I could have sworn that "Suicide Solution" was actually written about Bon Scott.
-
Pretty much anything written by Paul Westerberg is gold, so there ya go.
-
HHH is better in the ring than Douglas too, but really, is that saying much?
-
That's fucking hilarious.

My uncle had a Guild bass here for awhile and the model escapes me, but it was iBEAUTIFUL. Perfect tone, perfect playability, and it sounded great on every setting on his pedal bpard. I'm sure it's probably pretty expensive though, due to it being a Guild. But DAMN what a bass.

I'm in agreement here. I bought that album hoping for a good follow-p to No. 4, which was a great album, but boy was I wrong. "Days of the Week" is the only "good" song, and "Hollywood Bitch" is the only other listenable track on the album. Not the best way to go out.
-
Well, the bird album in question is Forever Gold. I haven't had the oppourtunity to give it a listen, since Rum, Sodomy & the Lash is on repeat in the cd player due to it's fucking ownage.

So, what they're telling me is that I get to look forward to ALL-HOSS, ALL THE TIME programming on WWE tv for years to come? Sweet. **drinks hemlock**

Vince giving ECW credit was a bit of surprise to me. I honestly didn't expect it from ol' Vinnie Mac. The best part of the entire DVD is RVD's commentary. When Cole mentions "dichotome (sp?)" and RVD just says "Huh?" had me fucking ROLLING. That, and everytime Rob would stop his telling of the history of the match and his feud with Lynn to proclaim a move as "sweet."
-
Actually if you hit left (or right, I don't remember) on "Promos" in the chapter selection on disc 1, there is a montage of many ECW promos throughout the years. The Foley stuff was great, especially him not being able to wear sunglasses due him being hardcore. I laughed my ass off at that one.
-
The Pogues- Rum, Sodomy & the Lash I bought a Charlie Parker album as well, but the name eludes me at the moment. It's Bird, so it's all good.
-
If there is an RVD DVD, the Ladder Match with Eddie had better fucking be included.

Randhurst can't be any worse than Ford City. Worst. Mall. EVER.
-
How can you hate Edward Scissorhands? it contains possibly the cheesiest linein movie history when Ryder says "Hold me", and Edwards looks at her and his hands and says "I can't." So bad that it's good. Just like Snitsky.

I read the whole thing Too bad about Modest Mouse. Seeign Reed is high on my list of things to do before I die, and it's good to know that he can still put on a good show.
