"Forget Her"- Jeff Buckley

Two this time: John Coltrane- Blue Train Social Distortion- Sex, Love & Rock N' Roll I gotta say, the new Social D is fucking great. "Footprints On My Ceiling" is definitely the standout track. Jeebus, great pick-up with Angel Dust. "Land of Sunshine" is fucking great, but "Smaller & Smaller" is the best track they've ever done if you ask me.

I need to pick that one up ASAP. I'm a big De La mark, but I had to set my priorities, so I got the new Social Distortion album and some Coltrane. The Grind Date and the new Mos Def are going to be my next purchases.

That's my all-time favourite episode. "I am so smart, I am so smart! S-M-R-T!" Another classic. I lvoe Barney getting hammered on non-alchoholic wine and HOmer winning by way of the two sweetest words in the English language. -
That's a really tough question. I mean, Walken has done some amazing stuff throughout hsi career, including the COWBELL~!, but Campbell was Ash and Brisco MUTHERFUCKING County, Jr.

What radio stations do you like to listen to?
B. Brian Brunzell replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in General Chat
I'm 99 percent sure he's on WWVA -- have you ever listened to Quinn in the morning?... I haven't listened to Quinn, at least not that I know of. Is he any good? Of course, he can't be any worse than Eagle 107.5's morning show guys, John Boy and Billy. It's stupid redneck garbage for abot 5 hours. I'd kill for Mancow right about now. -

Damn, kkk isn't too far away from me. If you're gonna listen to a Pittsburgh music sation, try 105.9 or 102.5--They're not the best for tunes, but they're passable. I'm in Wheeling, WV and the radio FUCKING SUCKS. I have Eagle 107.5. They're the typical, run-of-the-mill classic rock with the "new rock" station. They play shit from the Stones to Nickleback. But mostly, it's Nickelback and 3 Doors Down, with the classic rock staple "Get the Led Out" at 9:00 every night. I listen mostly to the ESPN Radio station and, on occasion, 1170 AM, WWVA. They have Rush's crazy ass, along with Glenn Beck. For the most part though, I listen to cd's, due to the sucky quality of radio in The Valley. -
Damn. What a tool. You gave the guy money for some gas that would no doubt get him thirty miles, and he STILL wants more. That's why I live by the George Carlin Theory: FUCK PEOPLE.

Why does this not surprise me AT ALL? -
The best pet I ever had was an Irish Wolfhound named Briny. My dad named him after Brian Boru, the Irish leader who drove the Vikings out of Ireland in 998 and is still a hero over there. When I was 5, however, someone came into our backyard in the morning and poisoned his water. Briny was 6'6" on his hind legs. My mom couldn't put food on top of the fridge because the dog would simply stand up and grab whatever she put up there. I have pictues of my riding the dog like he was a fucking horse. God I miss him.
-
That's a fucking classic. It'll be a tough one for someone to top.

I have a cat named "Oy." He's like, 18 years old and still kickin'. My uncle describes him as like "an old person who lived through The Depression.
-
That's a damn good question. They should be getting love though. I haven't listened to them regularly in quite some time, but if I catch a video on tv, the volume is always cranked.

For albums, you need The Soft parade, perhaps their most diverse recording. It goes from the catchy pop sound of "Touch me" to the bluesy (for obvious reasons) "Runnin' Blues" to the all-over-the-musical spectrum title track. There's the straight up rock stylings of "Wild Child" and the mournful sounding "Wishful Sinful." I believe it to be their greatest album. L.A. Woman is another must-have. Their swang song is dirty, gritty and well, great. It has the classic rock favourites in "L.A. Woman ", "Riders on the Storm" and "Lover Her Madly." Then, you get to the GOOD STUFF. "The Changeling", "The Wasp (Texas Radio and the Big Beat)", and my personal Doors favourite, "Hyacinth House" are all tracks that go unnoticed by the masses but are top-notch tracks, with the latter being not only the saddest Morrison lyrics, but possibly their second best song ever besides "The Soft Parade."

See, I've got no problems with Ghostface as far as his rapping goes. I will go to my grave saying that Ol' Dirty Bastard, ODB, Big Baby Jesus, Dirt Mcgirt--whatever you want to call him, is the worst of the group. I know everybody loves him because he's FUCKING INSANE, and funny at times, but as an MC, he doesn't have much.
-
How about Andres Galarraga?
-
In a word? YES. Here's one more in the "superior to Em" group: RAKIM As far as straight rapping goes, I think he's the G.O.A.T. and all you really have to do is listen to either "Follow the Leader" or "Lyrics of Fury." His flow, his verse, his delivery--it's all perfect.

Good thing I don't listen to Nelly's post-Country Grammar music. I'll stick to my intelligent Hip-Hop like Kweli, and KRS-One and Public Enemy.
-
Oops...my bad. I thought that came out in like '78 or '79.
