My God that is such a fucking GREAT song. I can never tire of Eric Burdon. His voice is just too much for mortal ears to take.

That's a great line from a great song from a great album, BAR. I like: Button your lip, and don't let the shield slip Keep a firm hold on your bulletproof mask Yes, definitely my favourite album lyrically. One more: "And still the dark stain spreads between his shoulder blades A mute reminder of the poppy fields and graves And when the fight was over We spent what they had made But in the bottom of our hearts We felt the final cut" Another Waters classic: You were caught in the crossfire Of childhood and stardom Blown on the steel breeze

As long as "Suspicious Minds" is included (and it is), you've got no complaints from me.

I love KISS as mch as the next guy, but there's no way they'll ever be inducted. I've come to realize this and must now deal with it. Rush being omitted still pisses me off, as they've ben eligible for 4 years now.

It's biddness, subliminal. Not business, BIDDNESS~! By the way, that story is the greatest piece of news I've ever seen. -

I enjoyed the orchestral work that Kamen has done with the likes of Pink Floyd, Aerosmith, and Metallica. Rest in peace, Michael.

Songs I never get tired of: "The Jig of Spicy McHaggis"- Dropkick Murphys "Centerfold"- J. Geils Band "Kiss Me I'm Shitfaced"- Dropkick Murphys "Disintegration"- The Cure "Selfish Man"- Flogging Molly "Crawl Away"- TOOL

That's the difference between being a "hair band" and a critic's darling, Fear. Critics everywhere love The Strokes. But even though Bon Jovi shed their hair band image, matured, stuck around, and still manage to sell-out arenas, they get snubbed.

Great to see Prince get in. Traffic getting in surprised me. I'm a huge Traffic fan, but I didn't expect to see them inducted.

I think that's Rimsky-Koursakoff. I'm not positive though. -
Yes it will, Choken. When we go all Farenhiet 451 on music, only "Heartbeat" will survive. Perhaps The Waitress' classic "I Know What Boys Want" as well.

That'd be the "Human Nature" vid, AoO. I'm pretty sure that's off of Erotica.

I still think Like a Virgin is Madonna's best album, though her debut and Like a Prayer are both ver good.

"Scarecrow"- Pink Floyd

Roger Waters performing "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" was the single greatest thing I've ever seen live. Streetcore is a good album. It's not as good as Global a Go-Go, but it's still great. His death didn't help it out, as his guitarists had to finish the musical parts, but I haven't really read any reviews praising the album or calling it the best ever. The reviews I've read call it the 3rd best Mescalaros album. I think it's the 2nd best, but I'm no critic, what do I know? And no, The Clash aren't overrated.

Mozart- Fantasia in D Minor Eine Kleine Nachtmusik The score to Don Giovanni Beethoven- Fur Elise(first classical song I learned to play on piano) Moonlight Sonata the 9th Symphony Bach- the Brandenburg Concertos Fugue in D Minor(Little Fugue) Wagner's Ring Cycle Chopin's Prelude in E Minor Dvorak- New World Symphony -
I still need to get "Live at the Garden." I just watched "Live at the Showbox" from 12/06/02, and it was pretty good. Ed goes into Edwin Starr's "War" at the end of "Daughter" and has the entire crowd singing it along with him. It's great stuff.

There were Checker's in the Chicago area for quite a long time. I think they've switched to Rally's though. Still, Checkers=Best. Fries. Ever.
