  2. Thank you. and I would rather wait a bit longer than pay a lot more.
  3. Mind Games is good I'd call HIAC better than it anyday. HIAC - ****3/4 Mind Games - ****1/2
  4. The bets by far, IMO, is Savage/Flair. 1. Savage/Flair 2. Austin/Rock 3. Hogan/Andre - for spectacle 4. Kurt/Brock 5. Hogan/Warrior 6. Austin/HBK 7. HBK/Bret 8. Hogan/Savage 9. Austin/Rock - WM15 10. Savage/DiBiase
  5. First off I don't consider HHH/Rock overrated and I don't consider it better. I was just using an example. Summerslam 95 is better, Benoit/Jericho is better. Summerslam 1995, if you overlook the ending, is miles ahead of WM10 with better psychology, better bumps and a better performance from Razor. HIAC is better than all of those and in context of the match and the angle the squash what it should've been. Watch Groudn Zero then HIAC. You'll see why it was a squash. What does the WM10 have then aside from bumps(which were Holy Shit at the time but not now)? What psychology does it employ? What story is told that isn't told in every single other ladder match done? Yah it's a great match and at the time was unbelievable and it does not hold up well. If you argue Summerslam 1995 as the WWF's best ladder match ever I would maybe agree but not WM10. Top 5 one man performances ever? Not even close.
  6. I checked in HMV, Best Buy and Future Shop and haven't found them. So anybody in Canada seen'em anywahere? and in which store?
  7. And the ladder match is EXTREMELY dated and does not hold up at all when compared to even Rock/HHH. HIAC is still the best(or second best) cage match in WWF/E history.
  8. Ummm you don't think the ladder match was *****? Ummm ooookaaay. You could definently make some arguments for Hell in the Cell and Mind Games as ***** as well and probably would even get a few people to say the Iron Man match was *****. The match with Diesel was excellent as well and definently Nash's best match ever. Also the AWA tag match, if its the one I'm thinking of, has to be seen to be believed. Not ***** mind you but let's just say Shawn WAS wearing white tights when the match started. The only match on this DVD anywhere near ***** is HIAC. Ladder is ****1/4 TOPS. Bret/Nash at SS95 is better than the HBK/Nash match. The Foley match is good but available on a better DVD. Ironman is half/half. Half of it is like ** the second half is like ****3/4. Totals to like ***3/4. If the AWA match is the one I think it is(same one as you probably) then it is the blood bath which I've seen but don't have, still not *****. But I might get this DVD just to laugh at the "I lost my smile" speech over and over again.
  9. Why thank you. Your sig has a nice old school Austin vibe gonig to it as well. BTW what ***** matches are that DVD? None to my count.
  10. The Rock's 5 minute long video was cool the first time I saw it. Overall probably HHH, Jericho and Mr. America just to hear "Real American".
  11. "This is the first HBK video item made available to the public by the WWE since "Shawn Michaels: Greatest Hits From the HeartBreak Kid" was released by Colisseum Video back in 1996. So it should be apparent that this is a highly anticipated item for many wrestling fans out there. This two disc set offers up 7 classic Shawn Michaels matches in their entirety with loads of extras. That's right, these matches are un-edited and shown from start to finish. The seven matches are as follows: - AWA Tag Team Championship (1986) - IC Title Ladder Match from WrestleMania X - Iron Man Match from WrestleMania XII - No-Holds-Barred match against Diesel (includes alternate commentary by Shawn & Diesel) - Championship match against Mankind at Mind Games - Hell In a Cell 1 against the UnderTaker at Badd Blood - Comeback match against HHH at SummerSlam 2002 Prior to each match, you'll get a video highlight package with Shawn himself providing his thoughts about that particular match, and you'll be filled in on the match's build. The Extra's menu offers up even more goodies which revolve around the featured matches. Original TV spots, interviews, back stage segments, etc... As well as several other highlights from Shawn's career. Some of the extra's that are featured include: - The s visit to the Barbershop w/Brutus Beefcake - Promotional spots for WMXII, Badd Blood, & more - Shawn's training segments for the Iron Man match - Constructing the Hell In A Cell - Match of the year segment from the Slammys - Before They Were Superstars - The HBK story - Tell Me A Lie - Music Video To further compliment this item, the presentation of this product is well done. The DVD menus themselves are wll desgined and are put together with a pleasing asthetic quality. The background to the menus are essentially video highlights of the matches that are featured with the Shawn Michaels "Sexy Boy" them playing in the background. Also, a bonus hologram card is included with the insert. It depicts HBK flying off the top rope at HHH on a table from this past year's SummerSlam. A nice little goodie for you HBK fans. I must point out what you should not expect from this DVD. When you hear the name Shawn Michaels you might expect DX or the Screwjob to come up. That is not the case here. If you'd like more info on Shawn and the screwjob, as well as the match itself, I'd suggest the Confidential DVD. I was surprised that D-Generation X was only breifly tapped on during the pre-commentary for the Hell In A Cell match. Also, there's no commentary to be found on Shawn Michaels retirement in 1998, or the back injury which was escalated at the 1998 Rumble and led to his retirement. There is no commentary on the split of the s, or of Shawn's life since his early retirement. This DVD is predominantly wrestling, so don't expect too much as far as the interviews go. There is nothing on him being assaulted in Syracuse, nothing on him becoming a trainer... Truly there was a lot left out of this DVD. It would've been nice to have seen some more matches in this DVD, such as the somewhat unknown Intercontinental Championship Ladder match between Shawn Michaels & Bret Hart which was recorded at a house show, but never aired on WWE television. This match predates the original Ladder match against Razor Ramon which is on the DVD, unfortunately the WWE didn't have the brains to recall this rare footage. If you're an HBK fan even in the slightest then I must recommend this DVD. If you're a casual wrestling fan, or new to wrestling then this may not be for you. Seeing as how wrestling has changed drastically in only a few years, the pace of some matches may be too slow for some. However, if you're interested in learning more about HBK then this will help to fill you in on most of the key elements of his career. Pros: Loads of extras, several classic matches, a neat presentation, and a good source of HBK history. Cons: Limited interview topics, may not be everyone's cup of tea, and some colorful aspects of HBK's career were left out. Bottom Line: This is a great DVD which I would defenitely recommend for most all wrestling fans. It has enough charm to keep even the most die hard of HBK fans in a state of utter joy. And if anyone out there has worn out there tapes from watching some of these HBK matches far too often, and I know I have, then you'll want to pick this one up." Meh it's no "Hulk STILL Rules" but sounds ok.
  12. Looks like Test & Billy Gunn's illegitmate love child.
  13. No that was Johnny B Badd's "Kiss That Don't Miss" SSP.
  14. I recetnly watched the Clash where he debuted and when he hits the 450 and a dead crowd goes crazy and JR nearly has a heart attack. But yah he had all the tools to make it big but never did. WCW could've done so much with him(and Benoti for that matter) after Superbrawl 3. But they gave him one title match with Windham and just buried him.
  15. It was supposed to be DX doing racist shit to NOD and blaming it on the Harts to further DX's rep and NOD's gimmick. But the Harts and NOD refused to do it so it got canned.
  16. So which is your favorite cheesy theme from the 80's. Simple question. BTW I don't consider "Demolition" - Demolition and "Real American" - Hulk Hogan cheesy.
  17. I've always wondered this. Watching him and Benoit tear the house down at Superbrawl 3, I couldn't get how come he didn't make it big anywhere(except slightly in ECW). He had the talent, the mic skills, the look, but always sort of just disappeared. Anyone know why or have any theories as to why he never made it anywhere?
  18. Um, apparently, I'd have to pass judgement later when the show actually is going. That said, I'd have to say probably not. Looks like Rhyno. Benoit got all the face heat. BTW next week is a CAN'T MISS show!!!
  19. "I don't even really work here." "That's what makes this so difficult." PRICELESS!
  20. FUC i forgot about it. Someone...recap....
  21. Well we all know Vince gets off on humiliating guys who've wronged him. I guess trying to compete is wronging Vince.
  22. I love all his movies. Arnies one of my favorite actors. My fav non-Terminator are: 1. Predator 2. Twins 3. True Lies 4. Total Recall 5. Running Man 6. Commando 7. Kindergarten Cop 8. Red Heat 9. Eraser 10. Last Action Hero
  23. Speaking of Warrior... How about Savage carrying Warrior at WM7?
