  1. They wnated everyone to think it was WWF champion Warrior but some guy named Angle of Death was originally picked for the role. Sadly they didn't have him under contract.
  2. 10) Terminator 2: Judgmenet Day - Ultimate Edition. Best DVD ever IMO.
  3. Joe LeDuc longtime AWA guy.
  4. My favorite moment featuring Owen is a small one most don't even notice. During soem match in 1997 Bulldog is coming out and is flexing when suddenyl Owen sneaks under his arm to get in front of Bulldog and steal the spotlight. Don't even know wy but I LOVED that moment.
  5. Ok if anybody here has: Fallbrawl 1997 The Nitro with the Horsemen ruenion The Nitro with the nWo parody of the Horsemen If anybody has all three of these things I will very gladly trade for them.
  6. Raw: 1. Chris Jericho 2. Ric Flair 3. Rob Van Dam 4. Booker T 5. Steve Austin SD: 1. Eddie Guerrero 2. Spanky 3. Rey Mysterio Jr. 4. Chris Benoit 5. Matt Hardy
  7. Hoyl shit I owned the IRS hasbro figure.
  8. BTW the overrun of a Raw scored a 4.4 so Flair = Ratings!
  9. Please let me put one of those in my sig If you want'em in your sig go ahead.
  10. JR isn't too smart is he: "What the hell?!?!"
  11. Flair/HHH tonight.
  12. Because he's a pornstar. Duh. ie. It's the WWE
  13. I'm betting that the ejection yesterday set-up HBK/Flair. God knows that'll be better than Nash/HHH. BTW whoever compared Nash to Dusty, Nash dreams he could have as much charisma and fan support as Dusty back in the day. Hell even in TNA Dusty gets bigger pops than Nash gets on Raw.
  14. Late 80's NWA. Specifically around 1987-1989 was the best workrate wise. 1997 was the best angle wise, for both companies(Hart/Austin war, nWo).
  15. Funny story: After a Raw in late 01 me and soem otehrs were waiting for the guys to come out. Most wrestlers were gone when Austin rolled out in his truck. Austin saw the fans waiting for an autograph so he waited for Kurt to come out and chased him around with the truck to amuse the crowd. After like 10 minutes Kurt got in his rental car and they chased each other around for like 20 minutes just to entertain the 10-20 fans still left. Then they stopped, got out, brawled and Austin stunned Kurt. Mind you this at 1 am two hours after the show ended. Although I didn't meet them I've respected Austin & Kurt a lot more just because that one night they stayed a half an hour later than everyone else to entertain no more than 20 fans.
  16. I was bored out of my mind the whole show. Ladder match was disappointing but nothing was bad enough to pass KOTR95 or GAB91. HHH/Nash & Hogan/Piper were the only total stinkers the rest was just decent-weak.
  17. Funny will Flair get a bigger pop than Nash?
  18. tpww it'll end after the battle royal guaranteed. BTW what are the chances the crowd cheers Nash if he hits Flair?
  19. Am I the only one who likes the FBI?
  20. 1. The Perfect/Doink match is on the Raw Prime Cuts tape and it is fucking awesome. Doink's best match ever. 2. RIP Owen. We miss you man. Plus on that Raw Owen did a great thing by requesting that Holly go over because it was in Holly's home town. Nowadays Booker T, in his hometown, is jobbing in the opener to 3MW. 3. This week was the teased RVD Undisputed title run. 4. Quad Tag match was good. Overrated though and not as good as a tag match from next weeks Raw review. Good week for Raw.
  21. well, welcome to the board. nice to see you didn't have to go through the hazing process and already came shrink-wrapped with your jaded and cynical sense of humor. that said, shawn michaels was THE salvation of 1995--moreso than bret, since he was mostly stuck in midcard hell. ladder rematch with razor ramon, IYH match with jarrett, good WM match with diesel... shawn also carried diesel to a great match the next year, which was at least as good as bret's carry job. i myself prefer SS 95, cause bret's my favorite, but they're about equal caliber. Nah Bret's carry job was better since Diesel had to, GASP, sell throughout and it had a much better story. The HBK match is overrated and isn't near Bret/Diesel IMO. But yes HBK was the salvation with Bret right there too carrying Jean Pierre Lafitte and otehr crap like that to good matches. AND putting on some awesome matches with Hakushi.
