Melina = million dollar body with a ten cent face.

What are the chances that tag match actually takes place?

The crowd was hot for Kurt Angle/Randy Orton. Alot of people on these forums probably don't want to acknowledge the fact that Orton was cheered more than Angle. The little segment where Vince McMahon rolled the kid in the wheelchair out the door and apparently down some stairs really killed the crowd. The three-way for the Intercontinental title brought them back, but then killed them once again when Johnny Nitro won the title out of nowhere. If Carlito had won, I think he would have received the biggest pop of the night. I didn't like the way that John Cena fought off the entire ECW locker room and pinned Sabu far too easily and quickly. I thought it was a good all-around pay-per-view and really don't feel like I wasted my money.

From what I've heard, Eric Staal and Frantisek Kaberle could both be re-signed by the end of the day. Contract negotiations with Erik Cole, Justin Williams, and Matt Cullen are going very well.

Has anyone here ever seen Bobby Hughes play? He was the 25th-ranked North American skater and the Hurricanes were able to draft him at the end of the fourth round. He scored 35 goals and tallied 40 assists in 56 games for Kingston of the OHL last year.

I really hope this case isn't swept under the rug and forgotten about. This "accuser" needs something done to her.

The more I think about it, the more I think the trade up to draft Jordan Staal is a good idea. Right now, Eric Staal and Rod Brind'Amour are our first and second line centers. Behind those two, we have Doug Weight who is a free agent and may decide to return to the St. Louis Blues. Behind Weight, their is a major dropoff to talent like Josef Vasicek, Kevyn Adams, and Matt Cullen. Immediate depth is needed at the position and Staal would also be able to step up whenever Brind'Amour decides to retire. The Hurricanes won the Stanley Cup without a player you would call an "intimidator." It also seems like the Hurricanes value offensive ability in their defensemen as much as any team in the NHL. Players like Frantisek Kaberle who are efficient on the offensive side of the game and very effective on the powerplay. I think that may be part of the reason that they are willing to trade the hard-hitting Jack Johnson. Another reason is the fact that Johnson will never play a game as a Carolina Hurricane. He wants to stay at Michigan all four years so he can re-enter the NHL draft. If the 'Canes were to wait, they would get absolutely nothing in return for one of the best defensive prospects the NHL has seen in a long time. If this trade were to happen, Johnson would be reunited with his buddy Sidney Crosby and the 'Canes would have two very talented Staal brothers to build around in the future.

Did Florida really fuck their future up by getting Bertuzzi? Where does that leave the goalie situation in Florida? Luongo was pretty much the only bright spot on their team.

Did Florida really fuck their future up by getting Bertuzzi? Just what the 'Canes needed. A headcase who could choose to end someone's career at any moment in their division. Hope he stays away from Cam Ward and Eric Staal.

Another monster pop for Kennedy. I can't understand why WWE hasn't given this guy a title reign.

Pronger could be exactly what we need in Carolina. I'll stop dreaming now.

I just dont see where it can go. They're not going to create a women's title, and she definitely cannot be a knockout. Face wrestlers shouldn't need hulking female bodyguards. So, unless she turns heel, I predict that she will disappear from TV within a few weeks/months. Yeah, she doesn't really have any type of competition. Someone like Christy Hemme could easily have filled the role. Unless TNA actually wants to attempt to push this woman.

Figure this should be here. I live in North Carolina, so I have seen commercials for the RAW after Vengeance for atleast the past two months. Throughout that time, the dark match main event was always announced as Edge vs. John Cena in a street fight for the World title. Last night, I saw the commercial again and this time it hyped Edge vs. John Cena in a street fight. Didn't mention the World title, don't know if that means anything.

That lady is UGLY, if it even is a lady.

A commercial for next week's RAW taping that has been playing for the past few months has always hyped "Edge vs. John Cena in a street fight for the World title" as the dark match main event. Tonight, it hyped "Edge vs. John Cena in a street fight." Could this mean something?

A.J. Styles and Christopher Daniels should really work out their entrance situation. They have a different routine each week.

The passion is there, but Cornette really isn't making any sense.
-
I wonder if this crowd reaction is fallout from Slammiversary? The "fire Jarrett" chants make me think it is.
-
I like Jim Cornette in TNA.
-
That was a pretty crappy ending to Slammiversary.
-
Should be a good show.

Anyone see Eric Staal's reaction when they mentioned the rumors that the Hurricanes may trade up to draft Jordan Staal? It was a little like this .

I wish that list was a little longer. I would like to know what teams are interested in guys like Frantisek Kaberle and Justin Williams.
