Everytime I hear it mentioned on ESPN, they call it "T.N.A. Wrestling". Don't know how ESPN treated it on television, but the people on ESPN Radio weren't that tough on it. The main concern they had was how T.N.A. would handle any type of feud when Jones couldn't be attacked on screen. All I can think about when I hear it mentioned is the saying, "any publicity is good publicity". Every moment that the words "T.N.A." are mentioned on ESPN are moments that more people are possibly exposed to the product.

Ring of Honor doesn't seem to want to take that step to become a promotion on a national level (live pay-per-view or syndicated television show), so T.N.A. is the best alternative we have at the moment. Do I think the storylines are terrible? Yes. Do I think they push the wrong talent? Yes. Could I see talent like A.J. Styles, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Christopher Daniels, Elix Skipper, Jay Lethal, Low Ki, and Samoa Joe on a weekly basis anywhere else? No. I've supported T.N.A. from their first weekly pay-per-view in '02 and I'll continue to support them until their last pay-per-view.

That's pretty sad. I read that he patterned his life and career off of Chris Benoit and hung himself, just a few weeks after the Benoit tragedy, because his girlfriend left him.

Almost felt like Vince Russo saw a second opportunity to do the New Blood angle, wanted to do it "right", but still failed.

Funny you mention that, I've just got watched up to those PPVs recently, I'm up to PPV 44/47, and that SEX stuff has bored me alot, I'm skipping through the shows really. Then Dusty Rhodes appeared and won the title for no reason.. that was odd. The best T.N.A. show with S.E.X. involved was the first show, where Triple X formed and faced the Amazing Red and the S.A.T. in the main event. Much like the New Blood, I felt if they would've limited the talent involved in S.E.X. it could have worked. If they would have kept it limited to talent like David Young, Michael Shane, Sonny Siaki, and Triple X; I think it would have worked alot better than the older talent they threw in there.

http://nhllogos.blogspot.com/ There's another website. On the right side, you'll see countdowns to when teams will unveil their new jerseys.

I thought he had a spot on the creative team from day one, but never had the type of power that he has today. Russo would contribute ideas, which is probably where the Johnsons tag team came from, but they wouldn't let him have full control over the shows. I just don't understand how any promotion, WWE or TNA, can look at what Vince Russo did with WCW and say "we need that."

Booker T Oh yeah, forgot about him. I think they've had what? Maybe as many as 15 televised matches in WCW and WWE? He definately takes the cake here. They probably had more than fifteen televised matches in WCW in 1998 alone. You had the best of seven series, which actually went to eight matches, as well as the matches before and after to set up and blowoff the feud. -
Some think Jacobs may be in for quite the push once he is healthy.

The website has also changed a little bit. Sounds like it'll be the return of someone who has been in Ring of Honor before. Someone at the Ring of Honor boards mentioned that Tyler Black and Marek Brave are booked for another show on Saturday, so there will likely be a couple of more people involved in the angle. My guess: B.J. Whitmer, Jimmy Jacobs, Marek Brave, and Tyler Black.

I would agree with that. September '03 is right around the time TNA started to sign older guys like Lex Luger and Rick Steiner and immediately put them in the main event. If only TNA would've continued on the track they had set for themselves and avoided Vince Russo. X-Division title was treated as the top title of the promotion, Heavyweight title was still treated as an important title but didn't always have to be defended in the main event, and TNA pieced together some solid tag teams like America's Most Wanted, the Flying Elvises, and the New Church. While guys like Raven were considered "WWE rejects" upon their arrival, TNA used them in a way that made them seem special. I REALLY think they made a mistake when they didn't put the title on Raven after the great angle that built to the match. I still follow TNA and will still support them, I suppose I just hold out a little bit of hope that perhaps one day they'll return to the great promotion they once were.

William Regal's wife did it? -

Vancouver is set to unveil their new jerseys sometime soon. Hurricanes' new jersey was leaked in the NHL 08 pictures, but the official debut is set for the Caniac Carnival in mid-September.

You are central in your beliefs about wrestling. You accept the idea of both old-school and sports entertainment but you are not extreme in either way. You believe that angles and matches are equally important to create a good wrestling product. Most similar booker: Paul Heyman Most similar promotion: ECW 1996

No one wants to comment that Kane has another feud started because someone threw some type of drink on him? Kane vs. Finlay, last man standing match at Armageddon.

The recap on WWE.com makes it seem like Punk needed to defeat Morrison in the fifteen minutes to win the challenge. Perhaps Styles and Tazz were mistaken in their perception of the rules? The way the rules were built up by Styles and Tazz, I figured the most likely finish would be Punk in control and nearly beating him before the time limit expired. That would build to a twenty or twenty-five minute match at SummerSlam.

They didn't even need the Dating Game, yet the crowd was louder at the end of that match than the crowd ever was last night for RAW. Too bad Vince McMahon doesn't care about ECW, they're the best wrestling brand going right now.

Well there's no accounting for taste........I watch wrestling to see wrestling not a cut rate sitcom. Anyone who honestly watches WWE purely for wrestling deserves the disappointment they get every Monday for being so naive. Me? I thought the show was great this week, in a train-wreck kinda way. Yeah; it isn't like they have "wrestling" in the company name, a wrestling ring in the middle of the arena, and have a roster comprised mostly of wrestlers. Of course I should expect everything but wrestling when I watch World Wrestling Entertainment.

There's been a couple of additional blogs added to that project161 site. Also if you move your cursor towards the bottom left of the page, a picture of two children will pop up. Kind of looks like the Briscoe Brothers. I suppose whoever 161 is, it'll be a tag team to challenge them?

I get the same vibe, each will support a wrestler into a fatal four-way at Survivor Series.

Cue something to stop them.

After that heated exchange, I now want to see John Cena vs. Randy Orton more than ever before.
