Actually it makes sense. It presents UT with a sense of vulnerability and it builds to the rematch where 'Taker reaches to a place he never reached before, deeper then the darkest corners of his heartless soul to slay the demon. Indeed. Plus, it doesn't kill Khali by losing to Taker in a later PPV now... He HAD to have a match against Taker where he didn't look weak. Job done. I applaud this booking, as I really feared Taker would just beat him like he does every other rising star, and Khali rots and dies. Most of the time, the people they build up to face the Undertaker deserve to be defeated quickly and cleanly. WWE loves the "big man vs. big man" match and take every opportunity to make it happen, not matter the ability of the opponent.

Wasn't sure if these matches were posted, but I thought they were pretty interesting. Bam Bam Bigelow and Owen Hart vs. Chris Benoit and Steve Williams http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0nlu16w5vc Jushin Liger vs. Owen Hart http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAUk5_HdFRA That has to be one of the few times Chris Benoit and Owen Hart faced each other in the ring.

I still believe the best way to capture the "feel" of ECW is to use the old ECW video crew to film all of the house shows they have throughout the week, then at the end of each week they could put together the best matches and add in a couple of interviews to make a show. ECW fans won't care that the matches take place in different venues and new fans will think of it as an aspect that makes ECW different from everyone else. This should also help boost house show attendance as fans will feel that they could have the opportunity to see a major angle or match played out in front of them.

It's smart if WWE wants to spark interest in the event, although I probably still won't order it.

I like when he goes to rip the cage door open, it opens correctly and he ignores this to rip it off the hinges anyway.

I just found out that The Rock was considered for the role of Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. That would've just been terrible.

Thanks alot for the list. I think Night of Champions would be a little higher on your '03 list. It had a very solid top-to-bottom card, whereas a show like Epic Encounter was pretty much Bryan Danielson vs. Paul London and not much else. Would you say that the best '05 show, Punk: The Final Chapter, is better than the best '04 show, All Star Extravaganza II? "Better Than Our Best," sounds like a jab to CZW's "Best of the Best."

I'll look forward to it. I've needed someone with some knowledge to fill me in on the best recent RoH shows.

This Means War must've been a hell of a show.
-
I've heard that the three-way between A.J. Styles / Christopher Daniels / Samoa Joe in TNA is a great match.
-
You would want to include all three of the C.M. Punk vs. Samoa Joe encounters. I've also heard that the Briscoe Brothers, Jimmy Rave, and John Walters vs. Generation Next match from the "Generation Next" show is really good.

Boogeyman shouldn't even be in the same state as the ECW tapings.
-
TNA has made a few good ones, New Church and Triple X come to mind. Christian's is alright, but TNA didn't make A.J. Styles' theme music as he used "I Am" on the independent circuit before TNA existed.
-
Sabu will be in the new ECW. He had his "farewell match" in IWA Mid-South a week or two ago and they stated it would be his final match before he signed with the new ECW.

RHINO! Who is more intimidated, Abyss or the referee?
-
I like how Ron Killings randomly returns to the Heavyweight division whenever TNA organizes a battle royal or tournament centered around the title. Afterwards, it back to whereever the hell he hangs out.
-
I think that is more of a case for TNA to ask for more time. They can only do so much with one hour a week, they should really try to get Spike TV to allow them to extend the show a little bit.

I think Sabin cemented himself a while ago with his matches against Frankie Kazarian and his performance in the Ultimate X matches. Alex Shelley could definitely benefit from an angle with Kevin Nash.
-
I'm shocked at the reaction Andy Douglas received, I thought it was Randy Orton.
-
"I was scared to freakin' death!" Would this be the match that Joe was injured in?
-
Is there any reason why TNA can't use actual music for theme music? Other promotions like ECW, MLW, and RoH that have television shows are allowed to play actual music.
-
Sabin gets the rub by selling Nash's offense and look Alex Shelly is the newest Kliq member... I think the Alex Shelley / Kevin Nash tandem could be good. Shelley will carry the matches and both are very good on the mic.
-
When you watch the See No Evil commercial outside of WWE, so there is no reference to Kane, it doesn't look half bad.
-
Yeah, theme music has never been a strongpoint of TNA.
-
If they plan to team Alex Shelley with Kevin Nash, that could be pretty entertaining and really help elevate Shelley through association.
