  1. What FWA show was Bryan Danielson vs. Doug Williams 2/3 Falls, and was it as good as their 30-Minute Iron-Man match from RoH Scramble Madness? I also would like to know the best FWA shows, I may buy a few sometime.
  2. Doesn't change the fact that they are on the MLW roster, and from what I've heard, had a great match against Jimmy Yang and Tony Mamaluke at Rise of the Renegades. I wish Red would come back to MLW, he and Super Crazy always put on a great match.
  3. I'm a fan, although they seem to be recycling the same matches show after show, but their upcoming Summer Apocalypse card is looking good. For some reason my cable company quit airing Underground TV.
  4. Wonder why In-Demand is getting a $.01 show and DirecTV isn't. Doesn't matter, I have In-Demand and I'm getting the show.
  5. yeah, that particular show caught my attention. Are the deathmatches good?
  6. I can understand Billy Kidman being upset about Brock Lesnar using the Shooting Star Press. The fact that he missed it, the announcer's selling like he hit it, and Kurt Angle getting up before Brock Lesnar did hurt the credibility of the move a little. Remember in WCW, Billy Kidman was the same as he is now, but became the most over cruiserweight in the company in '98-'99, and WWE likes talking about their superior booking. And if Billy Kidman is only in WWE because of his finisher and wife, then the only reason Kurt Angle was ever in WWE is because he won the Olympics. No Olympic win, no Kurt Angle.
  7. To stay somewhat on topic with IWA-MS, I am planning on getting a few of their shows in the near future. I already own the Ted Petty Invitational and plan on getting Ultra Styles Clash, but I need two more. Anyone have suggestions?
  8. I'd like to see Jody Fleisch, Christopher Daniels, Super Dragon, and Matt Stryker be in the tournament.
  9. I don't know if there is a review anywhere, but I can tell you that the show is great, Night I is awesome and Night II is even better. A.J. Styles vs. Christopher Daniels and C.M. Punk vs. Christopher Daniels are worth your money alone.
  10. Amazing Red vs. Low Ki Elix Skipper vs. Jerry Lynn Frankie Kazarian vs. Michael Shane C.M. Punk vs. Shark Boy Low Ki vs. Elix Skipper Michael Shane vs. C.M. Punk Low Ki vs. C.M. Punk
  11. If I can see Matt Hardy vs. Paul London II on Velocity, then send away.
  12. From what I've seen Masada is very good, he is probably the best all-around member of the Carnage Crew in Ring of Honor, so hopefully TNA can find a good gimmick and storyline for him.
  13. Hopefully Time Warner will pick it up if they ever decide to bring the channel over here, but the bad thing is it'll probably be year old matches that I've already got on tape.
  14. I thought the Kane vs. Kurt Angle match at Wrestlemania was pretty good until the messed-up finish.
  15. But that would mean Vince McMahon was the Iron-Man of the '99 Royal Rumble although he was only in the ring for about five minutes.
  16. That M F'n Bomb off the rope by John Zandig on Nick Mondo was awesome, but they need to tone some of that stuff down if they want to have a long career in wrestling.
  17. Reading about Vengeance with three ****+ matches, it got me thinking about all of the MOTYC WWE has had this year, so I thought we would list them. You can also add a star-rating if you want. -Chris Benoit vs. Eddie Guerrero (Vengeance) **** -Kidman and Mysterio vs. World's Greatest Tag Team (Vengeance) ****1/4 -Big Show vs. Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle (Vengeance) ****
  18. Results from Rise of the Renegades: **In an impromptu match, "Dr. Death" Steve Williams and The Sandman defeated Simon Diamond and CW Anderson with the stipulation added that if Williams & Sandman defeated the Extreme Horsemen, Anderson & Diamond must defend the Global Tag-Team Crown championship August 22nd. The ending saw Funk come in with the rope still around his neck and stun all three horsemen followed by a top rope Sandmanton. Funk, The Sandman, and "Dr. Death" all then drank and partied with the fans through out the arena to end the show. **MLW World Heavyweight Title Match: MLW World Heavyweight Champion Steve Corino pinned "Gladiator" Mike Awesome to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. At the end of the match, the Extreme Horsemen ran into the ring to attack Mike Awesome leading to Terry Funk returning to the ring attacking Corino with a garbage can. After the match, the Horsemen roped Funk by the neck and hanged the Hardcore Legend before he was helped out by MLW officials. **Bounty Match: Terry Funk defeated Abdullah the Butcher in a violent and bloody match with a cross body block. The match was a classic with the use of forks, broken bottles, and more! **CM Punk & Michael Shane (with Francine) defeated Norman Smiley (with GI Ho) and Raven. **Richard Criado pinned Nosawa with a modified Michinoku Driver 2. **Mikey Whipwreck (with The Sinister Minister) pinned Sabu (Bill Alfonso) after The Sinister Minister threw a fire ball into Sabu's eyes leading to Whipwreck pinning Sabu. **GTC Challenge (both Williams & Sandman must defeat the Extreme Horsemen in singles competition in order to advance to a tag team title shot on 8/22): Simon Diamond pinned The Sandman with the Gem Cutter. **In the impromptu Young Lions Challenge: "Notorious 187" Homicide pinned Jerry Lynn (with The Sinister Minister) with a reversed sunset flip. **GTC Challenge (both Williams & Sandman must defeat the Extreme Horsemen in singles competition in order to advance to a tag team title shot on 8/22): "Dr. Death" Steve Williams pinned "Enforcer" CW Anderson with the backdrop driver. **Samoan Island Tribe and Da Hit Squad went to a no contest. **Josh Daniels defeated Richard Criado. **Los Maximos defeated Jimmy Yang & Tony Mamaluke with the Spanish Fly.
  19. Alot of people in the chat room were saying it wasn't as good as TOD I, but then again, nothing could be.

    Mad Mikey

They need Scott Hudson backstage talking, have the Jaws shark music come on, you see Shark Boy's fin at the bottom of the screen moving around behind him, then at the climax of the music he jumps up and pounces on Hudson.
  21. Watch half the talent signed for the show not be able to be there. That would be the icing on the cake as far as bad luck is concerned.
  22. Anyone know the Briscoe Bros.' theme song they used at Epic Encounter.
  23. You should try to get in all the independent wrestling you can before coming down to North Carolina, the closest thing we have to an independent federation is MLW on television.
  24. Don't know about Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero getting 22 minutes, I have a feeling once Vince McMahon, Zach Gowen, Sable, and Stephanie McMahon get 20 minutes for each of their matches there just won't be enough time for a Chris Benoit/Eddie Guerrero classic.
  25. *Confirmed Matches* -Steve Corino© vs. Mike Awesome (MLW World title) -Abdullah the Butcher vs. Terry Funk -Mikey Whipwreck vs. Sabu -C.M. Punk and Michael Shane vs. Norman Smiley and Raven -Simon Diamond vs. The Sandman -C.W. Anderson vs. Steve Williams -Fuego Guerrero vs. Jimmy Yang -Jerry Lynn vs. ??? *Possible Matches* Josh Daniels vs. Tony Mamaluke Da Hit Squad vs. Samoan Island Tribe
