I've been doing a little bit of research of WCW in 1993, when the 1993 Four Horsemen formed with Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Ole Anderson, & Paul Roma, I do believe that Ole Anderson was somewhat MIA for the major brief part of that Horsemen variation. Was Ole Anderson busy contemplating his future in wrestling, or something? Where was he?

RIP to Johnny Weaver, Don Curtis, & Gary Hart
-
I believe that the last time we all saw both Don Curtis & Johnny Weaver on live TV was at the WCW Slamboree 1994 PPV, when they were being introduced as part of the "Legend's Reunion".
-
I can see why Ole wanted to retire from the ring. He was obviously getting older, and was probably questioning to himself if whether or not he could take any more punishment in the ring.
-
*sigh* Ok, so according to this article, he was actually 72. Ok? A little error can't hurt that bad. Anyway, here's an article. RIP - Johnny Weaver

Johnny Weaver (John Meyers) 6 ft 1 in, 235 lbs Born November 17, 1935 Died February 15, 2008 Resides in Charlotte, North Carolina Billed from Indianapolis, Indiana Debuted in 1964 Johnny Weaver (born as John Meyers in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States) was a professional wrestler and wrestling commentator in the National Wrestling Alliance. During Johnny's career, he was credited with being the first wrestler to use the sleeper hold (rear naked choke)as his finisher of choice. Weaver's career spanned four decades in many different territories in the NWA. He held championships across the southeast United States, the first of which was the Mid-Atlantic version of the NWA Southern Tag Team Championship, which he won with Cowboy Bob Ellis on December 2, 1963. His best known run was with partner George Becker in the Mid-Atlantic (Carolinas, Virginia) in the 1960s. The two held the NWA Mid-Atlantic Southern Tag Team Championship five times together, and they were household names in the territory for a period of nearly 8 years. The team had memorable feuds with Swede Hanson and Rip Hawk, Lars and Gene Anderson, Gene and Ole Anderson, Aldo Bogni and Bronko Lubich, the Infernos with manager J. C. Dykes, and many others. Weaver's next major success came in Championship Wrestling from Florida, where he teamed with Becker to win the Florida version of the NWA Southern Tag Team Championship in February 1967. He also competed as a singles wrestler, winning his first NWA Florida Southern Heavyweight Championship that year by defeating the Missouri Mauler. He dropped it back to the Mauler but regained the belt on October 25, 1967. The following summer, he won the belt for a third time. He lost the belt to Hiro Matsuda but then regained it in a rematch in late 1968. Returning to the Carolinas, Weaver was a successful tag team wrestler in Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling. He teamed with Becker to win the NWA Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship on May 1, 1969.[4] They held the belts for over nine months before dropping them to Rip Hawk and Swede Hanson on February 17, 1970.[4] Weaver and Becker regained the title exactly one month later, however.[4] They lost the belts to Gene and Ole Anderson but regained them on June 3, 1971 from Hawk and Hanson.[4] Once again, Weaver and Becker dropped the titles to Hawk and Hanson but regained them in a rematch.[4] The following year, Weaver teamed with Art Neilson to win the title twice more.[4] Weaver returned to Florida to compete in 1975 and won the NWA Florida Tag Team Championship by teaming with Dick Slater.[5] He also competed in Texas, where he won the Amarillo version of the NWA International Heavyweight Championship in November 1976.[6] After a brief absence from the Mid-Atlantic territory in 1975, he returned for one more main event run in 1978 with Baron Von Raschke for the area's Television championship.[7] His final championship reigns came in 1981 while wrestling in the Mid-Atlantic area. He teamed with Dewey Robertson to win the NWA Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship in 1981 by defeating Genichiro Tenryu and Mr. Fuji.[8] They lost the belts to Chris Markoff and Nikolai Volkoff later that year, but Weaver regained the title on November 27, 1981 while teaming with Jay Youngblood.[8] Weaver's last years in the ring were in an "elder statesman" role, helping establish new stars just entering the territory, most notably Roddy Piper. He also helped book the Mid-Atlantic territory for nearly 8 years as well, roughly between 1966 and 1973. In the early 1980s, Weaver also booked the house shows in the southern part of the territory. He began his broadcasting career in 1979 as color commentator with World Wide Wrestling host Rich Landrum. He became Landrum's permanent sidekick for the early 1980s, where he became famous for singing "Turn Out The Lights, The Party's Over" at the end of matches (a tip of the hat to Don Meredith, who did the same thing on Monday Night Football.) When Landrum left the company in 1983, Weaver then worked briefly with David Crockett, before becoming paired with the longtime voice of Mid-Atlantic Wrestling Bob Caudle, whom he worked with until leaving the company in 1988. He made a brief in-ring return in the Fall of 1987 in the corner of the "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes who was using sleeper hold, calling it the "Weaver Lock," and chasing down Lex Luger and the N.W.A. United States Title. During this angle, Weaver was placed in a Japanese version of the sleeper by Hiro Matsuda, causing him to bleed from the mouth. Weaver was in Rhodes' corner at Starrcade `87: Chi-Town Heat, when Rhodes defeated Luger in a steel cage after DDTing Luger onto a steel chair. CWF Mid-Atlantic out of Burlington, North Carolina promotes the Johnny Weaver Cup tournament every August with Weaver in attendance to present the winner with the Weaver Cup trophy. Past tournament winners have been "Dangerous E" Corey Edsel (2004), Jesse Ortega (2005), Gemini Kid (2006) and "Handsome" Mitch Connor (2007).[9] [edit] Personal life * Johnny Weaver was a deputy sheriff with Mecklenburg County, North Carolina County in Charlotte, North Carolina. * Johnny Weaver was once married to female wrestler Penny Banner. They had a daughter together named Wendi. [edit] Death Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that Weaver died of natural causes on February 15, 2008, aged 73.[10] [edit] Wrestling facts * Finishing and signature moves * Sleeper hold ("Weaver Lock") * Weaver Roll [edit] Championships and accomplishments * Championship Wrestling from Florida * NWA Florida Southern Heavyweight Championship (4 times)[3] * NWA Florida Southern Tag Team Championship (1 time) - with George Becker[2] * NWA Florida Tag Team Championship (1 time) - with Dick Slater (1)[5] * Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling * NWA Atlantic Coast Tag Team Championship (6 times) - with George Becker (4) and Art Nielson (2)[4] * NWA Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship (2 times) - with Dewey Robertson (1) and Jay Youngblood (1)[8] * NWA Southern Tag Team Championship (Mid-Atlantic version) (6 times) - with Cowboy Bob Ellis (1) and George Becker (5) (Last)[1] * NWA Television Championship (1 time)[7] * NWA Western States Sports * NWA International Heavyweight Championship (Amarillo version) (1 time)[6] Weaver was 73 years old. I just managed to win King's Quest VI in record time, today. Now, once I get my strategy in place, I'm gonna try and win King's Quest V. But, I'm still stoked about this. -
Ok, so I bought this King's Quest Collection CD-ROM computer game off of Amazon.com, and got it in the mail, today. It includes the first 7 King's Quest games. My favorite, bar none, is part 6 where Prince Alexander goes on this mission to save Princess Cassima from the evil Vizer, Abdull Alhazered. This was easily the best of the whole King's Quest series, because of the best stoyline behind it. Anyone else know about King's Quest?

You can download Day Of The Tentacle, HERE!
-
I'll see where I can find you guys a site to download DOTT, if it's ok.
-
In that case, would anyone in management allow me to upload my DOTT .zip file on here for you and everyone else to download? I got a pretty good version, although it's not the version with the actually full-lenth character talking throughout the game, nor the sound effects. But, it's still good, IMO.

I don't think there's a magic hen in King's Quest VI. Maybe you're thinking of something else. Anyway, I can link you to somewhere where I've posted a bunch of King's Quest Walkthroughs via YouTube, if you're interested. http://s2.excoboard.com/exco/thread.php?fo...hreadid=1762919 -
Has anyone ever heard of Maniac Mansion, as well as it's sequel, Day Of The Tentacle? I downloaded DOTT off of some website, and it still stood the test of time, after the last time I played that game. It's pretty cool.

I have the actual hintbook for King's Quest VI, and it's helping me a lot. Plus, there's also some walkthrough videos up on YouTube, if you're stuck on some things. -
Wow, man. I bet that asshole, Brent Bozell and the rest of his PTC Goon Squad are gonna be celebrating in the streets after they hear this. But, if they do take SD! to cable, it'll be interesting to see if they still think it will be a threat to American Morallity.

HELL NO! Fuck You, Hollywood! Michael Bay WISHES he could be like Robert Englund. How dare they disgrace Freddy Krueger like this. FUCK THEM!

Ok, here's what happened. I was burning some wrestling shows to DVD, one day, and suddenly, without warning, my DVD burner stopped burning all the data to DVD, and stopped working altogether. I'm thinking that I probably used my DVD burner to death. Although, a young man named, Nick says that the laser might be dirty. Does anyone in this folder know what could be the problem?
-
I bought this new cleaning disk from Wal-Mart, and I think that either I need to get a new burning system, as the burner isn't responding to the cleaning disk, or I may be missing one small detail. What should I do?

Can anyone here upload the unedited Evolution exit theme. You know, the one with the kickass guitar riff at the begining? That is, if anyone has it.

WCW Monday Nitro for 7/8/96 The opening credits roll for Nitro, before we actually go out to the MGM Studios Disney, where Nitro announcers for the first hour, Tony Shavoine & Larry Zybysko welcome us to the show in the aftermath of Bash at the Beach. Tony:Hello, wrestling fans, and welcome to the pay per view fallout of Bash at the Beach. It certainly one of the most unforgettable, shocking, & disheartening events ever in the history of our sport. Tonight on WCW Monday Nitro, fans, we are gonna take you back to last night at Bash at the Beach, and show you exactly what happened in last night's main event, and show you the footage of what Hulk Hogan did to WCW. He was the third man joining The Outsiders in the six man tag match, last night. It was just terrible, Larry. Larry:You know, Tony. It was the biggest act of cowardice on the behalf of The Outsiders and Hulk Hogan. Right now is the time for WCW to strike back at those guys, and respond, big time. Tony:Let's get to the ring. WCW Cruiserweight Championship! Dean Malenko © vs. Rey Mysterio, Jr. -This match saw the crowning of a new Cruiserweight Champion in the aftermath of last night. -During the match, Rey gave some pre-recorded comments on Hogan betraying WCW and killing Hulkamania. -This match saw a lot of high-flying moves, as well as some mat wrestling moves that excited the fans. -One mistake saw Mysterio defeat Malenko by pinfall and win the title. Winner:and NEW WCW Cruiserweight Champion, Rey Mysterio, Jr. Four Horsemen speak out! Mean Gene is standing by with The Four Horsemen, and their entourage of ladies for an interview. Gene:Alright. Thank you, Tony. I'm now standing by with The Four Horsemen. Arn Anderson, Brian Pillman, Chris Benoit, and also, the brand new WCW United States Champion, "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. First off, let me talk to "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson. Double A, I know that you were one of millions of people that witnessed the atrocity of last night. Your thoughts. Anderson:Gene, what happened last night made me wanna puke. I never saw anything as heinous as what I saw, last night, and believe me, The Four Horsemen are known for doing heinous things in this sport. But, last night was too heinous, even for us. You see, you were supposed to stand for something, Hogan. You stood for everything that was right about this great sport, and you flushed it down the toilet. Well Hogan, just remember something. The Horsemen don't take too kindly to crap like what you pulled. You better watch your back from now on, because you've made your bed now, Hogan. Now, it's time for you to sleep in it. Pillman:Hogan, I want to make something very clear to you. Even though I never liked you, and even though I never trusted you. I always had a lot of respect for what did for this sport. Last night, you flushed my respect for you down the damn toilet, as The Enforcer said. Hogan, I always knew that you were nothing but trash. Now, I think it's time for The Four Horsemen to take out the trash. Benoit:Gene, last night was yet another brutal war for The Crippler. Kevin Sullivan, you may have won last night when you pinned me in the center of the ring. But, make no mistake about it, Sullivan. This war is far from over between you and me. I promise. Flair:Excuse me? Mean Gene, do you think for one second that just one shocker of all shockers is gonna bring down the champ? Hogan, I got news for you, pal. I know that the truth of the matter is that you know deep down inside that you are no longer "The Man" in this great sport, because Hogan, like I've said many times before. To be the man, you've got to beat the man. And Hogan, I am The Man. Woooooooooooooooo! La Cucaracha! Ha ha haaaaaa. Gene:Alright, we'll get back to you for more action. Fans, stay with us. The Blue Bloods vs. Hugh Morris & Big Bubba (w/Jimmy Hart) -Blue Bloods won this match when Regal pinned Bubba. Nothing special. Dungeon Of Doom interview! Gene:Alright, I'm standing by with members of The Dungeon of Doom. The Taskmaster, Jimmy Hart, and the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, The Giant. Jimmy Hart, you've known Hulk Hogan for so many years. You've got to be as shocked as anyone, here in WCW. Jimmy:You know, Gene. I've seen it last night, and I still can't believe it. For the first time in my career, I'm at a loss for words. I just don't know what to say. Taskmaster:Gene, my whole purpose of existance was the absolute and total destruction of Hulkamania and Hulk Hogan. But, last night, instead of us getting the job done. He plucked it all away from us. He went and did it, himself. If everyone here in WCW had listened to me, 2 years ago about Hogan, none of this would ever have happened. Now, I have a new goal in life, and Benoit, that basically, is your destruction, and the demise of The Four Horsemen. Giant:Gene, look at it this way. I ended Hulkamania, last year when I beat him for this title at Halloween Havoc. And now, after our victory, last night, I don't have to defend my title, here tonight. Gene:Alright, you just heard it from The Dungeon of Doom. Stay with us. We got more coming up, after this break. We come back to see The Outsiders, Scott Hall & Kevin Nash covering the steel WCW logo with nWo lettering in sheets. in the crowd. Soon, they disappear. Eddie Guererro vs. Psychosis -Eddie won this match, which was filled with great high-flying moments, with the Frogsplash. Steiner Brothers vs. Nasty Boys -Steiners got the victory when Scott pinned Saggs with the Frankensteiner to earn he and his brother a shot at Harlem Heat for the WCW Tag Team Titles. WCW United States Championship! Ric Flair © (w/Woman & Elizabeth) vs. Jim Powers. -Another great match from The Nature Boy, who successfully defended his title against Jim Powers. -Powers got a decent amount of offense into the match. -But, the experience and cunning of the champ was too much for Powers, who submitted to figure four leglock of Flair. Winner:and STILL WCW United States Champion, Ric Flair! Chris Benoit (w/Brian Pillman) vs. Sgt. Craig Pittman -Chris Benoit won another match for The Four Horsemen by defeating Pittman with the Crippler Crossface. Winner:Chris Benoit Arn Anderson vs. Sting -Sting was red hot in his encounter with The Enforcer of the Four Horsemen. -This was a seesaw battle between both men, who gave it their all. -Sting got the victory by submission with the Scorpion Deathlock. -The Outsiders came down to ringside, but got chased off by Sting, Savage, & The Horsemen. Winner:Sting Savage & Sting interview! Gene:Alright, Sting, I wanna get a quick word with you on last night. Sting:Last night, Gene, was a disgrace to WCW, and a disgrace to our great sport. Hogan, you stabbed every single little kid that looked up to you, and you showed no remorse. But, most of all, you told them to stick it. No, you stick it, Hulk. You stick it. Now, you're gonna pay dearly for all the hearts that you broke, last night. If not by me, then definately by the Macho Man. Savage:Ooooooooooooh Yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaah! Hollywood Hogan, from now on. You had better look over your shoulder, and over your head, because you have no idea what I will have in store for you. YEAH! *commercial* Outsiders interview! Gene:Alright, now I'm standing by with the two Outsiders, Hall and Nash. Gentlemen, you have got to be kidding me. Hulk Hogan was someone that we all thought we could look up to, and trust. Nash:Gene, all you need to know is, the nWo is now in the driver's seat, like we always knew we'd be all along. Thanks to our main man, The Hulkster. We'll have no problem taking over this dump. Hall:Gene, this interview has been brought to you by the New World Order, The Outsiders, and Hulk Hogan. Gene:Well, I beg to differ. But, folks, that's it. We are out of time. We will see you this weekend with WCW Saturday Night, among others. *Eric Bischoff & Bobby Heenan close out the show by showing the footage of the PPV, and both Bischoff & Heenan giving their commentary on Hulk Hogan's betrayal.* *end of show*

The Backstory! The year was 1996 in WCW, and a 33 year old member of The Four Horsemen by the name of Brian Pillman was busy contemplating his future with WCW. There had been much talk of Pillman wanting to leave WCW because of politics, and because there was obvious tension between Brian Pillman and WCW head booker, Kevin Sullivan. There was basically a rumored respect issue between them. Pillman was on a roll with his "Loose Cannon" gimmick as well as being a Horseman along with Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, & Chris Benoit. When WCW Vice President, Eric Bischoff learned of Pillman wanting to leave for possibly the WWF, he quickly sat down in his office with both Pillman and Sullivan. He told them that in WCW, "We're all supposed to be in this, together.", in referrence to WCW's current battle with the WWF. He told Pillman that WCW needs him. Pillman soon accepted Bischoff's plea for him to stay in WCW and remain with The Four Horsemen. Pillman thought it would be much better to stay on as a Horseman after learning about rumors that they were gonna shoehorn Steve McMichael into the group in Pillman's place. Eric also told him, Sullivan, and everyone else about his plan to bring Klique members, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, & Sean Waltman from the WWF into WCW, as part of a HUGE angle to bring WCW ratings. Pillman & Sullivan finally shook hands and called a truce in order to help make WCW a major competitor to the WWF. Stay tuned for more.............
