Doesn't anyone have a soft spot in thier hearts for Mark Callaway? He had AWESOME matches with Bret, Shawn, etc. in the 90s. No matter how bad he is now, I wouldn't fire him. Plus his heel stint last year wasn't that bad because he actually sold once in a while.

I think Chris Beniot will win the title sometime this year. ...or at lest I'm hoping he will...
-
I would rather have Booker T lose. He's super overrated and after winning at WM, would most likely job the belt right back to HHH anyways.

I read that Mauer is doing really poorly and may get cut.

Props to whoever nominated Buster Keaton. He's the Shit.

I gotta echo the earlier sentiments about Jack vs. Paul. Who thought of putting them together in the first round? Obviously there is no way of satisfying everyone, but where are Nicholas Cage, Ewan McGregor, John C. Rieley, Jim Carrey and Liam Neeson? Where's the love?? All are way more worthy to be on that list than some of these guys. One of the most difficult decisions for me was Jason Lee vs. Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Hoffman was the obvious choice but I am a total Jason Lee mark.

in light of the season 7 premire tonight... South Park is far more than a comedy show. It is a drama that has an overall story and narrative. The characers are developed and have many relateable qualities. So, excluding how much they make you laugh, which character do you care about the most? I tried to pick the best "people" for the poll options.

Let's face it. JR's commentary has gone down the shitter big time. He was never great but he was very solid from 1999-2001. Now he just gives everything the hard sell and spells EVERYTHING out for the viewers. It's like he's commentating for 5 year olds. His main focus is begging viewers to stay in thier seats and not adding to matches and angles. He is horrible and in my opinion, really brings Raw down among the other reasons Raw is shitty. King used to be funny and witty and is now just a perv. He was never an expert color guy but used to put guys over big time. A perfect example of this is Owen Hart. King loved him and put him over huge. Now, he serves no purpose. So.. Would Raw be better with Cole and Tazz? Obviously Michael Cole isn't great but he is WAY better than JR right now. He can call a decent match and most importantly, he uses Tazz well. Tazz rocks. He puts guys over and actually gives input into a match. He also has a fun character unlike King. Tazz's knowledge also makes Michael Cole better. Putting Tazz/Cole on Raw obviously has logic issues with the roster split and stuff. But maybe move Heyman (who will become useless as a manager with Angle gone, Big Show being shitty, and Team Angle probably changing directions) to Raw. Make Heyman the play by play guy and put another underutilized wrestler like Al Snow or Flair in the color position. Any way they do it, the WWE should dump JR and King.

NCAA Basketball 2k3 has an awesome momentum meter/system. It works really well and is very effective in keeping the games fun.

My ala mater just won the State High School Hockey Tournament tonight. I watched it . Awesome game. Super fast paced. More fast paced and entertaining than the NHL.

I was happy to see Joanna get voted out. Best line so far was from a few episodes ago. Rob was talking about Joanna's religious talk and said "I didn't know that God had invested interest in Survivor." Thank you! Why the hell would god care who wins a dumb game show. The same thing applies to professional athletes who thank God for winning.

Assuming the T-Wolves do not win it, I would almost rather have the Lakers win rather than the Spurs, Kings, Mavs, Trailbalzers, or any one-player team from the East. I don't like the Lakers one bit, but they are better champions than most good teams. Although this has been an interesting season, the state of the NBA is pretty crappy. And a dynasty would be pretty cool to see and good for the league. Plus, Kobe and Shaq are classy guys compared to most of the moron superstars out there. Teams I would rather have the Lakers win than: WEST Kings: Vlade Divac is annoying and a nuisance. He is bad for the league. Webber is in court inbetween games. Thier coach is by far the biggest cry-baby in the league. I do like Mike Bibby and former gopher Bobby Jackson however. Mavs: They're OK, but who wants to see the #1 team win it? Plus Nick Van Exel, Najera guy, and Michael Finley are stupid. I would like to see Dirk and Nash get more established before winning a championship. Spurs: Boring. Who cares. Trailbalzers: Legal problems. Drugs. Those qualitites make a good champ. Suns: I personally just don't like Stephon Maurbury. He admitted in the Star Tribune that he left Minnesota because he could not stand being the #2 guy. EAST (if they had a chance) 76ers: Allen Iverson is the worst role model in all sports. He uses such bad grammer that his sentences are confusing. The gun/wife thing. The "Practice!" thing. The ego. Horrible. Worst role model in sports. Magic: TMac is overrated. He comes off mare concerned about himself, the stats, and the cameras than his team. I would just rather see the Lakers win out until a good story team can win it.

MLB - Minnesota Twins. Best team in baseball. NBA - Timberwolves. Growing up I liked the Indiana Pacers. I pretty much don't like every other team now. The league is in the shitter. NFL - Its tough to choose seeing as the league is totally different every year. Gotta go with the Browns, Lions, and the 2000 Vikings NHL - Minnesota Wild baby. Watch out for them in the playoffs. NCAA Basketball - Gophers. Pretty much the entire Big Ten. NCAA Football - Gophers. USC. I really like Confrence USA too. NCAA Hockey - Gophers. Maine.

Busted Stuff is am awesome album. Possibly thier second best next to Before These Crowded Streets. Good review although I would have like to hear more stuff about specific songs. I also took the hating them to loving them route. But I disagree with the "Friends" comment. MOST of the crowds I've seen are stoners and drunk college girls. I think that it is a bad comparison because a stereotypical coffeeshop patron is nothing like the people in the Friends coffee shop. I agree that "Grey Street" is the best song on the disc but its close. I liked the stuff about the three black members. I've often wondered how the band would be seen differently if they were all white or all african-american. Either way, I think they would be significantly less popular. Its nice to see some Dave fans on this board. In previous discussions they seem to be hated by all the smarks. Where is your Bowling for Columbine review? Awesome movie. MOST important movie of the year and second BEST movie of the year in my opinion next to Adaptation. I made up a pretty cool DMB ranking game if anybody wants me to email it to them. Is fun but extremely hard. -
They stopped calling carries and worse yet, moving screens as well. When I played ball, setting your feet on a pick was a fundamental part of basketball. Now players move and just trip eachother up and the refs do nothing.

KG and Wally. KG is the most talented player in the league. He has a double double in almost every game this season, usually 30+ points and 15+ rebs. No defender can stop him. And he is a SMART player. Since Wally has come back from his toe injury the wolves have been the hottest team in the NBA. He puts in 20+ points per game himself. The wolves have the best homecourt in the game and have gone from 8th to 4th in the crowded western conference.
