  1. When did you stop, out of curiosity?
  2. Um, there's a difference between you not liking wrestling and a man forced to retire from wrestling when he's still young and apparently has a family to support. I didn't like Batista much either but JESUS, to wish something like this or laugh and celebrate at someone else like this is absolutely disgusting. And if Batista really ruins wrestling THAT MUCH for you, then you're over-reacting, because there have been TONS of Batistas before, and you're still watching, are you not?
  3. The main event probably sucked, but Nowinski using ebonics and a Hi-Lite Reel would make the show worth twenty bucks to me.
  4. The Brood was nominated? Awesome. And I'm glad to see that the award was for impersonations, because in that case, it actually makes sense.
  5. Classic Undertaker or lame biker Undertaker? And Triple H won Lasting Impression... yeah, he's leaving a lasting impression on Raw, all right...
  6. I'm just wondering... who won the awards for those two bonus categories?
  7. Edge on steriods. Well, he wasn't actually on steroids but he looked like he was.
  8. *Laughs* Compare the recent Raw ratings to October's. They've actually gone UP. Damn that war.
  9. LOOK AT THIS FRUIT, I LIKED THAT MAGNUM FELLER BETTER Batman CONTROL THE FREAK POPULATION, HAVE YOURSELF SPAYED OR NEUTURED The Twilight Zone BATTLE OF THE WALKING CHICK MAGNETS Cheers 3 GOOD REASONS FOR PROZAC Monty Python's Flying Circus
  10. That's Al. Oh, and Mathers is a self-obsessed punk with no sense of humor and an obsession with keeping a good image. Su-per-fic-ial.
  11. Well, you were supposed to connect Jericho with someone, but... Charlie Brown from Out of Town was the most shameless of the MIDNIGHT RIDER-esque storylines.
  12. Looks like a solid show. I should probably invest in ordering the DVD.
  13. Hey, I'm looking for a picture of Ichiro Yaguchi for an EWR diary I'm doing, and I thought that if anyone would know where I could find one, it would be you guys. So, can someone help me out or am I out of luck?
  14. It was either Doink the Clown or Yoko for me, sadly enough.
  15. Yeah, that would be Happatai, I think. "Yatta!" is a cult favorite song just because it's so out there.
  16. .... Who was it? I heard they had Happatai ("Yatta!") on once, so I'm guessing it might have been another novelty band...
  17. Oh, yeah, that's right. And about the Steamboat thing - hey, I'm not Vince. And I think all in all, Taker's had a pretty good year and, while not worth being the first draft pick, he was only picked number one as Flair's... uh, revenge or something...
  18. I prefer looking at the top ten for each company. Soo... The Rock (SD) - Making movies. Again. Has been around for five months of the draft. (0 for 1, even though he's been great while he's around, for SD.) The Undertaker (Raw) - Jumped to Smackdown. Not wrestling right now to spend time with family, but has had a title reign and has been around most of the year. (1 for 1 for Raw.) Kurt Angle - Practically the franchise player. Put new talent over, was entertaining, had a World Tile reign and is now out for a couple months but will be back much sooner than we all thought. (1 for 2 for SD) nWo - Bombed. Hall lasted a couple months before getting fired, Nash has been injured most of the time, and X-Pac is gone as well. (1 for 2) Chris Benoit - He came back early. On Raw. Despite the fact that he was drafted to Smackdown. Benoit put on some awesome matches and had a Tag Team Title run and Intercontinetal Title run. (2 for 3, only because he jumped back to SD, and that's where he had those awesome matches) Kane - Injured for four months, never really got a chance to shine, and was involved in the worst angle of the year. I feel his pain, but THIS GUY was drafted #3? (1 for 3) Hulk Hogan - Gone from August to February. He did put Angle and Brock over, and he technically jobbed to Christian and Lance Storm, even if he wasn't the one pinned in the match. Still, if he had been around the whole year, I'd say he was worth it. Instead... (2 for 4) Rob Van Dam - Two IC Title Reigns and he was a well-recieved star all-around, even when HHH went over him and then made him look weak in the guest referee match. Definitely a good choice, epecially since he was IC Champ at the time. (2 for 4) Billy & Chuck - Useful only because they were tag team champs, but even then, they practically dragged the division to hell. Billy's been gone since October and Chuck's in the FBI. (2 for 5) Booker T - A consistant star, his stuff with Goldust was classic. He had a good year despite not winning any singles titles. (3 for 5) Edge - Very solid star as well. A tag team title run plus his memorable feud with Eddie and his position in the Smackdown Six proves his worth, even if he did get injured. (3 for 6) The Big Show - Oi. He DID have a WWE Championship win and a few months solidly in the upper midcard... on Smackdown. On Raw he was completely worthless and jobbed to Jeff Hardy. (3 for 6) Rikishi - The draft goes to hell from here. RIKISHI? I'll admit that he's a solid midcarder when it comes to overness, but he has done nothing but squash up-and-coming heels. Weak. (3 for 7) Bubba Ray Dudley - Though he had a nice brief run in the upper midcard, he was pretty mediocre the whole time and quickly faltered and reunited with D-Von. Not worth drafting in the big ten. (3 for 7) D-Von Dudley - Great thinking, Vince. The Dudleys are no good as singles stars... SO LET'S DRAFT D-VON EVEN THOUGH RAW HAS BUBBA! What a coup. Admittedly, I liked the Reverend D-Von persona, but it went nowhere, and the most it did was introduce the word to Deacon Dave Batista. (3 for 8) Brock Lesnar - I'm sorry, but how did Bubba, D-Von, and Rikishi all get drafted before Brock? Eh, who cares? Even on Raw he was dominating and brutal, and since it was a good decision that fell apart during the GM War, Raw finally gets another point. (4 for 8) Mark Henry - Oh, LORD. Vince, you moron. Mark Henry's 'push' involved lifting things, jobbing to everyone, and then getting injured and vanishing. Great, isn't it? No. No it's not. (3 for 9) William Regal - He was the Euro Champ at that point and had a very solid year on Raw, culminating in another Euro Title win and two Tag Team Championship reigns. Regal did good. (5 for 9) Maven - Drafted because he was Hardcore champ. He then promptly lost it to Raven, got injured, and returned to Raw to do nothing special. (3 for 10) Lita - Of all the stupid things, why would you draft a woman who isn't even the Woman's Champion? She promptly got injured and returned to do some of the worst color commentary this side of Mongo. (5 for 10) So, 30% of Smackdown's picks didn't bomb and 50% of Raw's didn't. Now, who was missing? Well, Chris Jericho, for one. HELLO? FORMER UNDISPUTED CHAMP JUST A COUPLE WEEKS AGO! And they pick LITA, RIKISHI, and MARK HENRY over him? Ugh. Tajiri was Cruiserweight Champ, Jazz was Women's Champ, and they weren't picked. Jeff Hardy and Christian weren't picked when they're twice as over as some of te people who were picked. And if you're going to do a tag team war, PLEASE, go with the Hardyz. Of course, nobody knew how awesome Matt would be in singles competition once he went heel, but... Still, a weak draft in retrospect.
  19. Nope, Goldust has COMPLETELY vanished...
  20. HELL YES~! "Angry White Boy Polka" should rule.
  21. Dear god, the titles are just degenerating. The Next Album Title:"OMG WTF LOL LIMPBIZKIT RULZ A$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111111"
  22. Bradshaw enjoyed the HHH/Nash brawl? Clearly the man must be a masochist.
  23. If TNA knows what they're doing, Gilbertti will just be to buy some time before Jarrett-Raven II... I hope.
  24. Who, along with Brisco, used the theme that MR. AMERICA is using now. (Hulk WHO?)
