Most forgettable stint in a promotion
Cheex Incarnate replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
Its sad to think Tazz's biggest WWE claim to fame is SmackDown. He had his forgettable Lawler feud (which could of lead to a decent tag team with Raven, but didnt). Too bad he got injured so early in his run, or else we could have seen some badass Tazz/Benoit bouts that were rumored. All in all, Tazz in WWE was and is forgettable -Cheex -
I don't think Henry is being brought it as a feud for Batista, but rather as a bodyguard for MNM. Or at least I hope to God thats the case -Cheex

SummerSlam (name some good ones)
Cheex Incarnate replied to Naked Snake's topic in General Wrestling
I don't know why, but to this day I've always loved 1994. In my younger, markier days I had a huge hard-on for Razor vs. Diesel, my two favorite wrestlers. Bret vs. Owen had decent enough appeal too. Taker vs. Taker confused me, but to the point to where I wanted to see the payoff. Mable vs. Jeff Jarrett just made me angry, even then. -Cheex -
December 2005 WWE 24/7 Online Listing

Just like to add that the Backlund/Shiek match FAR exceeded my expectations and was very very good. I was never privy to much Shiek in what many consider to be his prime so I had no idea how good he was. Great match that actually felt like an athletic competition. -Cheex -
I know most people weren't a fan of heel Rey, but I really dug it when the Filthy Animals "mugged" Flair in the ring and were trying on his watches and rings and things. I thought it was funny and could've gotten over if they did it more often (like a funnier, classier version of the Brood's bloodbaths). -Cheex

Segments that made you go WTF??

giving everyone something to do is what Russo really excelled at, especially in WCW but even in his WWF tenure. I mean, he got us to care about D'lo Brown for God's sake. And i think he also came up with Hardcore "Superheavyweight Big Shot" Holly, which is the best thing Bob's ever been apart of. -Cheex -
I'm still sticking with my idea of turning Cena heel as a sort of P. Diddy-esqu rapper. Have him wear lots of diamonds witha velour tracksuit and big obnoxious sunglasses. Go back to him doing his freestyles, only specifically on faces. Who can't hate a guy like that (especially when they apparently hate him now)? -Cheex

I was so surprised when all the Joe hype started circulating. I wasnt familiar with the guy offhand, and the only reason I knew the name was his stint in UPW (the old WWE farm territory) a few years ago. There wasn't much broohaha around the guy back then, but my, how things have changed. -Cheex

I'm having trouble with the 24/7 access. How exactly am I supposed to get this thing up and running? I have the link to the page and everything, but when it comes to entering the password it says its invalid. -Cheex

Aww man...looking at those pics of the arena squashed my hope that they'd go back to the Attitude-era RAW is WAR set. That set actually looked "raw", versus the new sets which look too polished for the term. -Cheex

I'm a long reign man, myself. Someone who has to will to hold a title for a long time will seem to have more respect for the championship versus someone who can lose it and win it at their leisure. I'm going to have to disagree with Papacita's comment about JBL's array of challengers. What I most liked about JBL's reign is that literally EVERYTIME he put the title on the line one could percieve him losing it. That probably has something to do with the fact that originally, no one wanted to see him with the belt in the first place, but I digress. When he fought any of Guerrero, Taker, Big Show, Angle, or Booker (who were all the big challengers round this time) it was completely believable he'd lose. Towards Dec-Jan this feeling started to wain once it was obvious Cena was winning at Mania, but you get the idea. Cheex

What if the WWE was to relocate a brand to the UK?
Cheex Incarnate replied to Ultra Violence's topic in The WWE Folder
Not a year, maybe a few weeks though. Remember when WCW went on that elongated Austrailia tour and had packed houses throughout? -Cheex -
I think Elix Skipper used the overdrive, not Reno

I seem to remember the "pay-off" (if you could call it that) was during the Hogan/Kidman fued, Bisch and Kidman rammed Hogan's limo in a white hummer and while running away Bisch screams out "never trust the guy in the white hummer". So Bischoff was the driver, i suppose -Cheex

I know I'm straying from the topic a tad, but maybe SNME can be the new Clash of the Champions

My take on the "Flair>Hogan/Hogan>Flair" situation goes a little something like this; It's a given that Hogan is going to be a more popular name among people who don't follow wrestling. When anyone mentions wrestling to a non-fan, they're gunna think Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold, or the Rock. These are the types that get over huge with non-fans because of the undeniable appeal. Then we take your Flairs, your Bret Harts, your Triple H, your Benoit. All people that are more respected (for lack of a better term) by the actual fans. They're the wrestler's wrestlers, whereas Hogan and Rocky and such are the faces that the E put forward because of the cross-over appeal. -drunken cheex

I actually think this will be the time Giamattie gets a nod. The other times he should've been nominated were leading roles, but with this the academy can give him a supporting actor nomination (because thats obviously where the majority of hollywood thinks he belongs). -Cheex

Man, i remember Keenan doing Cosby stuff when he was all of 14 (or around there) on All That. Classic. -Cheex
