It used to be that at 5, Fox would show Simpsons then King of the Hill. Immediately after that at 6, UPN would show Simpsons then King of the Hill. But UPN just now stopped their simpsons airage, replacing it with Moesha....mo-fucking-eesha. -Cheex

Sorry, i'm not too familiar with the match, but is it just my foggy memory that leads me to believe Z-Gangsta is One Man Gang? And who again was the Ultimate Solution? Any help? -Cheex

I think Joker's appearance in the clip is because he's just escaped from Arkham. Also Michael "Kramer" Richards is Joker's pipes, if i'm not mistaken. -Cheex

This movie was bad, bad, bad. Not sweet in the least. It was one big quirk with only 1 or 2 genuine laughs. Napoleon Dynamite feels like a 2 min. commercial stretched to an hour and twenty minutes. Just plain bad. -Cheex

I just picked up Diner, and next time I'll snag Creepshow. -Cheex

I can't stand the Rock. I cannot stand him. I've bit my tongue every time I heard praise for his recent WWE appearences, but after last night I can bite no more. His talking to his dick routine ("whoa daddy") and calling every girl in the audience "momma" hasn't ever been cool. It's just nerdy. Really nerdy. His skills on the mic have eroded away since his face turn after the Goldberg fued. Now he tricks people into thinking he has charisma by acknowledging EVERY person in the crowd no matter how miniscule their reaction. The Rock's routine is tired, and it has been tired since the first time he did it. I vote either he just retires once and for all and never comes back (unless its for a big BIG money match). Or he can actually stick around for more than 2 nights. anyone agree with me.....anyone? -cheex

Booker T/ John Cena at SummerSlam...
Cheex Incarnate replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
The only logic I can see with starting the series at SummerSlam is that obviously they want JBL going over in the SD ME. So, they dont want both heels going over for their top titles on the card, and this gives WWE a cheap excuse to put Cena over and hopefully satisfy the crowd. -Cheex -

WWE Announces Name of Tuesday October PPV
Cheex Incarnate replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
Taboo Tuesday is silly....Taboosday is the way it should have gone. -Cheex -
I remember ordering so that my pipe dream of King Jarrett could be realized. And I distinctly remember a friend I had invited over to watch it saying, "this match'll suck, i'm going to the bathroom" and when he came back Foley was just about to take the initial dive. Great stuff. About Mankind not being over, at that point I'd compare him to what X-Pac was during the nWo run and Helmsley-McMahon Era run. Always in the ME, but never for any reason. -Cheex

That may be true, and Batman Returns is a GREAT Tim Burton movie, and had he done it without the Batman name and character, I would have liked it a lot more. But...the Penguine spitting up bile?....penguines in the sewers?...duckmobile?.... sorry, but I'm not digging it as a batman movie. P.S. I don't really like Burton as a director, anyway. -Cheex

I seem to remember Dustin Rhodes being in the WWF around Summerslam 91 teaming with his pop against Money Inc. How long was his first federation stint and besides that match, what were some of his major matches? -Cheex

I hope I don't get flamed for this....but my favorite Metallica album is Load. The 80s stuff was great, thrashing stuff, but Load was the first time they came off as artists to me. The hooks in all the songs were great and the things Jason does with the bass is excellent. The arty videos they did for some of their songs were a bit pretentious, but other than that, a great album all around. Now, I guess they didn't like the results too much, because Re-Load was just some lame Black Album retread. *prepares for flames* -Cheex

What did I get today? Well I'll tell ya..... KILL BILL VOLUME MUTHAFUCKIN' 2!!!!! Don't ask me how, or why, but for some magnificent reason the BX (i live on an air force base, BX is like a mini-walmart) nearest me decided to save me 3 weeks of agonizing anticipation and went ahead and put at least 6 copies of Kill bill vol. 2 on its shelves today. Normally this type of thing should be reported to the manager, but to that i say "fuck that shit, ya piss head", cuz I have the best movie of the year almost a month before any other mortal will. Ah, life is sweet. -Cheex

I was skimming through an old PWI Wrestling Almanac today, when something struck me odd about the Superbrawl VI card (2/17/96). I'll reprint the match report: Now, was this part of Pillman's whole "booker man" angle? I noticed the date, and realized Pillman was close to being on his way out. Anyone got an explination? -Cheex

Now back when the Hart Foundation stable formed, I was freebasing on nWo merchandise, so I'm a little hazey on the details. I remember flipping to RAW because Nitro was at commercial (probably one of their middle match commercials where the match is Silver King vs. Barry Darsow) and all I remember is Bret reconciling with Owen and Owen crying "crocodile tears" alot. Can anyone enlighten me on why the reconciliation happened, and how Davey Boy, Neidhart, and Pillman were brought into the fold?

I've recently seen some old WCW vignettes just confused me. It was called Raven's day off or something like that, with all these weird cameos from Kanyon and Chastity and someone who i think is Sandman. Towards the end they are reminiscing over some photo of Roddy Piper. So i guess my question is, what was the fucking point WCW was trying to make with these skits? was it a new gimmick for Raven that was dropped or something? little help? -Cheex

Now, I watched WCW during the Col. Robert Parker days, but what was Bunkhouse Buck's other ring name? I'm sure he had one. -Cheex

Return of the Streetfighter is as awesome as the first. Don't bother with the shit pile that is Streetfighter's Last Revenge, a complete departure from the series and suffers because of it. Sister Streetfighter isn't too bad, not insultingly bad anyway. The Bodyguard is another great one, despite its superfluous beginning scene added in the american version. Also, the opening narration may be a little too similar to a certain Pulp Fiction speech *wink wink* Glad I could help -Cheex

My official prediction: Benoit wins. They've done every scenario for Evolution except where they come to RAW after a PPV being completely titless.....or is it titleless...nah....titless. Best case scenario, Batista (as the only member to win) stages a bloody coup and takes control of Evolution and institutes a an official pimp suit dress code. No more Orton slumming it up with a simple shirt and tie. -Cheex

Chris Rember? who the fuck is that supposed to be.

The OAO Showdown: Legends of Wrestling Thread!
Cheex Incarnate replied to Karnage's topic in Video Games
I made Neidhart, and goddamn he looks perfect. Speaking of CALs, does anyone know how many you can save on the game itself? I might make some TNA guys (i got suckered into getting RAW 2, so im not making any WWE guys) -Cheex
