OAO Once Upon a Time in Mexico

I, for one, cannot wait. I loved El Mariachi and Desperado, and OUATIM had all the things that made those movies great with a bit of stylistic art. plus, you can't go wrong with Mickey mother fuckin' Rourkem, right? Anybody else as a big a fan of the movie/Mariachi series as I? -cheex

    This is horrible news

Don't count on the DVD for Vol. 1 being released on the scheduled date of Feb. 3, its being pushed back to at least march (but more than likely april) to coincide with the release of Vol. 2, which is also getting moved back from Feb. 20 to perhaps a Cannes premier........FUCK! GOD DAMNIT! -Cheex

I actually think the brand extension..

In the years following the split, I think the brand extension has worked. Sure ratings are down, but do you actually think that they'd be any higher with one brand (in fact i think they'd be lower). Each brand has effectivley made me think that they have they're own stable of superstars (despite the trades in the early going). Don't you think it would be a bit odd looking seeing John Cena, Kurt Angle, or Edge coming down the RAW ramp, or Rob Van Dam, the Dudley Boyz, or Steve Austin coming down the SmackDown! ramp? I think that was the feeling the WWE was aiming for, and if they keep it up, maybe I will one day consider them to be completely seperate (well, in the sense that the AFC and the NFC are seperate anyways). -Cheex

    Oscar Predictions....

I hate to break it to you, but Big Fish was pushed back to a March release, so no noms this year.

    Wachowskis

Sorry if the topics been up before, but what do you think those crazy stoner bastards are gunna do next? After that cop out of a matrix finale (i will never....ever...forgive them for that tripe) can they rebound? They got so lucky with the first matrix it isn't funny. Then the second just confused and angered people and the third was one of the worst final installments i've seen in trilogy history (worse than ewoks....honest to god, ewoks). Hopefully they regulate themselves to Matrix themed comic books and video games and never bother me again. -Cheex

    Anyone actually enjoy RAW?

This was the first RAW in awhile that held my attention the whole way through (well, other than the Shane/Kane stuff). Some of the things they did, like the Orton/Team Bischoff interaction and the actual practice on following up on past angles made sense. Aaaaand, they had matches that actually ended clean (except the Goldberg/Batista match, which could have been handled better). I for one think RAW is headed in the right direction finally, while SmackDown has 1 or 2 things to work on before they regain they're niche (I don't give a fuck about Vince vs. Undertaker). Anyone else share my thoughts, or was that just a mark moment last night? -Cheex

    High Voltage

Two roided up guys in WCW, straight outta the POWER PLANT~! That coud any given number of people in WCW during 98, but these guys had some semblence of a push, right? And the blonde one (Kenny Kaos?) was Rick Steiner's tag partner with the gold until...Juddy god damned Bagwell....came into the picture. Anyways, these guys ring a bell?

    The Rock In...

*potential spoilers* *I'm coincidentally reading Be Cool (sequel to Get Shorty) right now, and if what your saying is true, Rocky could be playing the gay samoan body guard named Elliot* -Cheex

    The Ultimate Supercard

If you could create the ultimate wrestling supercard of any era, what would you do? I mean, think of all the possibilities. You've got Sting and Hart in their primes, Flair vs. Samarntino, The Road Warriors vs. Steiners, and who hasnt wondered who would win between Nord the Barbarian and Jim Niedhart?

    Cabin Fever

Just stay away from this movie all together. Complete tripe. Maybe it was because I saw American Splendor right before it, but man, Cabin Fever blew hard. Didn't make one lick of sense, and nothing was resolved.....God What a bad movie.

    True Romance

I just picked up the bastard Tarantino movie, True Romance. I for one like the movie alot, but I feel it would have been worlds better with a nonlinear storyline, and tarantino's direction (i.e. his ending). Its definately not on par with Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, or Jackie Brown, but all in all i enjoy it to this day. Any thoughts? -Cheex

    Coolest Songs EVER~!

By cool, i don't necessarily mean "good". Heck, i consider Jungle Boogie cool sounding, but its a shitty song. Im talking about songs that would make you mark out if they were put into a movie, because their so damned cool. Tarantino cool even. Songs with kick ass bass lines and jazzy drums. Eh? Any takers? -Cheex

    Scarface sequal novel

According to http://www.thegodfathertrilogy.net/ubb/ult...ic;f=2;t=000471 which has proven to me to be pretty reliable there is going to be a sequal to Pacino's Scarface in novel form coming out in september. It makes sense to me, it could hype the release of the Special Edition rerelease of the movie and if someone can write a sequal to the Godfather, i suppose anything is possible -Zasa

    EWR 4.0 pics

Whenever 4.0 does come out (I refuse to DL the pirated version, I think we owe it to Adam) how do I make the RaveX picture package apply to the game. I.E. how do I make the pictures show up during play? Thanks. -Cheex

    Scarface DVD info

I for one am totally pysched for this release. The first version of Scarface on DVD sucked ass with that crappy transfer and audio, but this is going to make me cream my pants when i see it in the store. That said, here's a link to some more info about it with menu screens and such. (by the way; the Anniversary edition is 2 DISCS!) http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/index.cgi?page=News&id=4942 -Cheex

    100 Bullets

I was wondering on your guys's take on one of Vertigo's creations 100 Bullets. I for one love the series, and pretty much everything Vertigo does (except weird artsy Sandman). The stories are original and the art is superb. So, what have you? -Cheex
