how'd you guess? anyways, i'll stop - they ain't going anywhere. I just hope that we get more of the Charlie/Hurley/Jin awesome-ness next season. I also hope they don't pussy out on the big fight they've been teasing between the Losties and the Others

seconded. Avast! works just fine on VIsta.

Maybe Locke will pull a Jesus and come back to life to be the new leader of the others. That would be the only way to make that group of snooze-ers interesting.

i'm really impressed with Utah's team. Big gut-check here, same with the end of the houston series. Great frontline with Memo and Boozer, fantastic point guard with Deron Williams, defensive wingman in AK47, just a well put together team who can play well in the clutch. I'm impressed.

No Locke, but more Others? life isn't fair.

This was a great episode, until the very end. I'm so. sick. and tired. of. Ben. always. coming. out. on. top. .... .

Pistons/Suns Finals plz. billups vs nash.

that whole 'break up with Peter or i'll kill him' thing was very "Smallville". and Dunst was quite Lana esque. All she had to do was tell Peter and he'da opened up a can of whoop ass on Harry.

which episode is airing tonight? 6?

it seems strange to complain about this when the pistons are leading decisively the entire game, but the foul calls on the piston frontline is ridiculous. I don't know wtf Dick Bavetta is doing out there, sheed, dice, max, and webber, all with like 5 or 6 fouls. Bulls have like a 25+ Free throw attempt advantage. if i were more paranoid i'd wonder if bavetta wasn't trying to find a way to make this series less one-sided, considering his history.

Over-rated Bullshit Movies
bobobrazil1984 replied to milliondollarchamp's topic in Television & Film
I do feel chasing amy is the best one i've seen, at least up until that retarded "we need to have a threesome to resolve this" thing. at which point it somehow started to feel like the same old overrated kevin smith nonsense. -
Over-rated Bullshit Movies

i'll second every Kevin Smith movie as over-rated. It's moderately funny dialogue that just seems lamer and lamer the more times I hear it. Though I didn't see the latest one with Affleck and J-Lo in it. -
I love that idea...I think Kraven would be an awesome movie villian. That storyline is from the Spider-man 3 Game. There are also a few "other" characters in the game, (much like Spider-man 2 had Mysterio) so I doubt we'd be seeing them in any future movies. At least movies by these same people. i dont think that means anything - because they haven't decided yet what the next movie is gonna be about. Heck, during pre-production, the Vulture was going to be in Spidey 3. As I recall, don't other official movie games have various villians that havent been in the movies yet? I think the fact that they've made an effort to have Doc Conners in both films means its at least on the table if they decide to go that route. I was thinking, Conners does have a small sample of the symbiote, it might be interesting if he merged that with Lizard DNA to regrow his arm, it'd be one way of explaining how the transformation was possible (symbiote cells!)

Good stuff. Now all that's left is getting rid of those fucking Others.

I thought it was funny that Mara would never forgive him for f'ing a black barely legal chick... but confessing to a murder, well, now i'll hug and comfort you! Welcome home Shane!!!
-
an easy idea i heard for hte next movie is that the lizard goes loose on the city and kraven comes to town to hunt the lizard, and of course spidey has to save doc conners from getting killed as the lizard by kraven.

Parker having 32 points is too damn much. Nash needs to D him up better.
-
Nash was trying to reach in and steal from Parker, their heads collided. Parker looked shaken up more at first but was fine, but Nash kept bleeding (and bleeding and bleeding)

this game is awesome so far!

this is a hell of a 4th quarter.

way too much emphasis being placed on T-mac and the first round. I think in crunch time, that effects everybody on the team, its on their mind. The longer this goes on, the worse it gets.
-
They wasted 8 seconds in the final 10 seconds by not fouling. T-Mac and some other guy had Deron Williams SURROUNDED and just stood there. Either this was some ass-backwards plan, or T-Mac and the other guy completely caved under pressure. i dunno what the rockets were doing on offense those last couple of possessions either.

I've never ever heard anyone actually pronounce out NES as "ness". Ever in my life. Usually I hear people just calling it "Nintendo" and "Super Nintendo". I've heard N-E-S also, but never really heard S-N-E-S

game's still going on, but i immediatly see a big problem for Chicago. Ben Gordon can't guard Billups, billups is having no problem getting open. Hinrich is a great defender but he's spent the lion's share of time against Rip Hamilton.

Cleveland over New Jersey in 7 No particular reason, I just don't really like the NJ team and if the Cavs are smart, we'll be seeing a lot of inside attacking from them. I expect Lebron to really come to play this time. Detroit over Chicago in 6 Pretty evenly matched series to be honest, and I would not be shocked if Chi took it 6 or 7, but I'm with the Pistons for a few reasons, one is their very good road record, second is that they have a distinct advantage with Rasheed Wallace down-low, he was unusually focused during the Orlando series so I hope he's really come to play, and three, well the Pistons are my team, so whenever you have an evenly matched series, duhh I'm gonna go with my guys. I'm guessing the series goes 2-2, Detroit wins 5 at the Palace, and pulls out 6 on the road. San Antonio over Phoenix in 6 These will be hotly contested games not unlike their series two years ago, but I think S.A. will get the necessary stops in crunch time. Some people write the Spurs off because of the weak early part of the regular season, but they had a ridiculously good post all star record, and are at the top of their game. I actually want Phoenix to win because I don't want the Pistons to play the Spurs, but I think SA will pull it out. Golden State over Utah/Houston in 6 I really have no idea how this GS will fare as the Dallas series was the first time I've seen em play, so I'm picking em just for the fun of it, so i'll have someone other than the usual suspects to root for.
