Although it has been a little underwhelming this volume, next episode is the official return of Bryan Fuller, who wrote the ep. It is what I've personally been waiting for this season before I decided whether or not to stop watching. I am not expecting his presence to turn everything around immediately for the better, because he has to work with what was given to him, but it should at least show some new direction and some positive direction for the show.

Based off of performances, I think that Anoop and Jorge should be going home. Although Megan picking Rockin' Robin was absolutely stupid, I still thought that her vocals were ok and she proved she has the chops to at least make it another week. DialIdol spoilers:

Hopefully they stick with this one, as I think it still fits pretty well. I was at the show, and live that was not the music they used. It almost sounded like they used 15-20 seconds of that link as an intro, then added some badass heavy guitar on top of it. It was quite rockin'. Also, two things to watch for on TV... 1) Kennedy's DEATH KICK OF DOOM to Domino (live it looked like he killed him, which probably means it'll look good on TV, just better protected) and 2) Near the finish, Matt Hardy/Shelton botched a spot where Hardy ducked Shelton's spinning kick, then jumped on Matt like he was supposed to be power slammed, but they kind of backed into the ropes and Hardy awkwardly dropped Shelton. I kept wondering where my Jeff Hardy/Carlito match was, but I guess they had to make room for another Finlay/Hornswoggle v. Miz/Morrison match.

With all of this talk about CM Punk cashing in MITB, what if he interrupts Edge's wedding at the Bash, cashes in to "catch Edge off guard", then wins the belt and brings it to Raw. He gets a month reign, uses MITB for good, and there's one title on each brand.

I know there is an incessant amount of Will Ferrell hate here, but after watching the red band trailer to this movie, I can't help but be excited about it. This is the first R rated Ferrell comedy since Old School. It appears to actually have a semi-solid plot given the type of movie it is. You can't deny the buddy chemistry between Reilly and Ferrell. And some of the situations it appears they will find themselves in remind me of the old Spade/Farley days. In a summer with Pineapple Express, Get Smart and Tropic Thunder, it seems like people are overlooking this movie. Hell, its the first Ferrell movie I have truly gotten exited about since Anchorman. Red Band Trailer Of course, I will be absolutely pissed if this comes out and is truly just another bit of recycled mess.

If that bull whip got used it could've easily turned this match around. But, alas, it did not happen.

The way that first round went was completely unexpected.

That was, by far, the longest introduction for anyone, ever.

Initially it is bad, but if this show does a good rating and gets good reviews (and good audience retention), the rematch could be big.
-
I don't know why the crowd booed at all during that round. That was a solid round with no real slow down in action.

I am going to laugh my ass off if this fight goes the distance and they have no time for main event. I wonder, would CBS let it air, as in "live sports event" roll-over, or would they cut it off?

Helluva fight

Damn. It just looked like a PG-13 movie to me from the trailers I completely forgot about it. Time to go punch my interns in the face.

One of the things I was waiting for during the finale if they killed off Desmond is how that would affect Farraday. With Desmond being Farraday's constant, wouldn't Farraday end up having a brain aneurysm or something along those lines? And along that train of thought next year, if Ben kills Penny as he claims, and she is Desmond's constant, can we assume killing Penny in turn kills Desmond which in turn kills Farraday? And is Farraday anyone else's constant?

I am surprised no one has mentioned Kofi + pyro = trade. I almost expect him to move to SD or Raw and begin to work his way up.

That is what I've been trying to figure out. I mean its obvious why House is on the bus, because he's drunk and can't drive his motorcycle home. But the explanations I keep coming up with as to why Amber is there keep throwing me for a loop. At first I thought that House tried to call Wilson to come get him so he didn't have to ride the bus and instead got Amber. If that's the case, then why wouldn't Amber have just drove him? The same thing applies if they met there behind Wilson's back. Why wouldn't Amber just drive him home? The only potential explanation I could come up with was that House refused to ride with Amber or be "taken care of" and got on the bus. And Amber's compromise was "well if you won't let me take you home, then I am going to ride with you and make sure you get home ok". But of course, I could be missing something.

In regards to Amber, I am hoping they don't kill her character off next week. With her having the rod through her leg, I can see House diagnosing whatever disease she has and fixing it, but her still being a cripple. That way, they would have the dynamic of House and Amber being even more alike (as they foreshadowed with the whole "Wilson is dating House" talk a few eps back). I think it would add an interesting storyline to play off of the beginning of next season.

Has anyone heard exactly what he'll be DOING for ESPN? I mean, is he going to be a College Football Analyst, Field Reporter, or like a D-Show Commentator for ESPNU?

In the previews for the next Wrestling Observer Newsletter, is says a 2nd major star was suspended (not talking about Hayes, obviously). Any idea who he is referring to?
