  1. NASA is one one of the most INefficient organizations going right now, and has been for about 30 years. They haven't developed much that's useful since the 70s. You're just wrong. From thespaceplace.com, "Out of a $2.4 trillion budget, less than 0.8% is spent on the entire space program! That's less than 1 penny for every dollar spent. The average American spends more of their budget on their cable bill, eating out or entertainment than this yet the benefits of space flight are remarkable. It has been conservatively estimated by U.S. space experts that for every dollar the U.S. spends on R and D in the space program, it receives $7 back in the form of corporate and personal income taxes from increased jobs and economic growth. Besides the obvious jobs created in the aerospace industry, thousands more are created by many other companies applying NASA technology in nonspace related areas that affect us daily." very partial list of things gained through NASA, check out the site for hundreds more. 2. My unpopular opinions: Israel Israel should not be supported by the United States and never should have been formed to begin with. The Palestinians had/have more claim to the land due to the fact there is more of them and they were there first. Israel was formed with support from the United States, based off a mainly religious claim to the land; the United States should not have supported this claim as it violates the separation of church and state. All Israel is going to do now is get us into more problems with the middle east, because the middle east doesn’t like Israel so by default it becomes the middle east doesn’t like the America based, in large part, to our support of the Zionists. NASA NASA is the single most efficient government agency we have and more money should be going its way. Many, if not most of the technological breakthroughs of the last 50 years can be attributed, at least in part, to NASA. NASA currently makes up less than 1% of the national budget; its budget should at the very least, be tripled. Gay Marriage The 1st Amendment guarantees freedom of and from religion. As such banning gay marriage is illegal. Gays have every right to marry. The idea of a Civil Union is ridiculous as well as it is simply a form of segregation. Religion Though I have no problem with people having religion, I personally find religious people to be weak minded and unwilling to accept that they control their own fate. The idea of Intelligent Design being taught in schools is ridiculous as it has no basis in scientific fact. Yup, evolution is a theory, just like gravity. Gas We should tax the shit out of gas. Gas is currently around $3/galloon, adding on a dollar or two a galloon tax would promote alternative forms of energy and transportation, promote car pooling and lessen traffic. North Korea We have Nukes. Who are we to tell North Korea that they can’t have them? A policy on Nuclear Weapons needs to be the same worldwide. None of these some countries can have them and others can’t. We need to lead by example.

    TNT Pro Wrestling

Maybe they both got deals. From their website, MavTV doesn't look like it has tons of shows. Between these two projects, the MTV project and TNA becoming more of a force, the pro wrestling scene is about to become very interesting.

Saw it last night and was very surprised that it's actually really good. As in one of the best movies I've seen all year. It's not the typical Adam Sandler movie at all. Reminded me a lot of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mond but a little less good. I'm in SHOCK that it's at 31% on Rotten Tomatoes. Couple of good reviews though... "This comic fantasy is the best vehicle he's (Sandler) ever had, a high-concept goof that gradually darkens into an emotional nightmare reminiscent of Capra..." "One of the best American films of the year so far. "

  7. http://www.myspace.com/jarule "21 Gunz" It's available on his MySpace along with some of his other new tracks. Interesting that he's attacking 50 again, with 50 starting to feel a backlash this could help Ja alot. It looks like they're calling themselves the Supreme Team after Supreme's old gang. The best track on the page though, is "All I Need".

    Box Office Report...

'X-Men' Storms to Record Opening Weekend Sunday May 28 12:52 PM ET "X-Men: The Last Stand" stormed to an estimated $107 million three-day opening, the largest ever for Memorial Day weekend and the fourth-biggest in box office history. Preliminary estimates were released Sunday for the third installment of the series featuring a cast of mutants with names like Storm (Halle Berry), Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and Mystique (Rebecca Romijn). The 20th Century Fox film opened in 3,690 theaters and grossed a whopping $28,997 per theater. ADVERTISEMENT "People had such a huge awareness of the movie that it just translated into these huge numbers," said Paul Dergarabedian, president of box-office tracker Exhibitor Relations. The film benefited from a huge base of fans who had seen the first two "X-Men" films, plus great marketing and solid reviews, Dergarabedian said. "This is what the summer is all about," he said, adding the box office has rebounded well since last year's slump. "With `Da Vinci Code' doing better than anticipated ... we could not be in a better position." Estimates for "The Da Vinci Code" over the start of the holiday weekend were not immediately available. That film, starring Tom Hanks and directed by Ron Howard, had a solid $77 million opener last weekend. On the all-time list, "X-Men: The Last Stand" ranks behind only "Spider-Man," "Star Wars: Episode III" and "Shrek 2" for opening weekend gross. None of the other films opened on a holiday weekend, which usually gives movies a boost. For Memorial Day openers, "X-Men" crushed the previous three-day high of $72 million, set by "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" in 1997. Final box-office figures were expected Monday I bet X-Men makes more than Superman Returns.

Very few on the board liked it. I think it's the best of the 3, but could have used another half hour.

    X-Men 3

Went and saw it with a friend of mine and we both thought it was easily the best of the 3. "Oh my god, it's not the same as the comic books!!!!11" If you want the comics, then read the comics. There wasn't a dull moment in the movie, it went together neatly and was fun. What more do you want from a summer popcorn flick?

    VHS is dead

Family Videos, at least around here, are selling their VHS tapes 2 for 3 dollars. I'll stop at Hollywood and check for WCW stuff.

Two teens beat another one to near death...

So their actions would be less of a crime based on what the 16 year old may or may not have done ? Fine logic. Vigilante justice is understandable if he was trying to rape the girl. If he was, he deserved worse than what he got.

Two teens beat another one to near death...

What if the victim was trying to do more than kiss the 12 year old? They're not very clear about that issue.
  19. They weren't. I meant that my favorite plotline throughout the series was the Jack/Joey - Jack is gay plot. Season 1 is my favorite season as a whole though.
  20. I always expected Jen Lindley to be the hollywood ditz screw-up instead of Joey Potter. Pacey, needs to kick Tom's ass. What has Jack been up to? And Dawson? And Pacey? Season 1 was about as perfect of a season 1 a season 1 can be. My favorite plotline though was Jack/Joey.
